TvrdaPalice Right after germination, I managed to overwater the Jiffy. The plant immediately showed it – the inner leaves started to show signs of necrosis, the stem turned purple, and the cotyledons got spotted. I carefully squeezed the Jiffy and honestly expected it wouldn’t make it, and I would have to start over. But about 8 hours later, it showed a will to live – it started to straighten up, and the leaves in the middle were beautifully green again. The defects didn’t completely disappear, of course, but I decided to give it a chance, and I’m curious to see what it will eventually grow into. The roots have already grown through the Jiffy, so I transplanted it today into a 3L pot with Biobizz Light-Mix substrate, into which I mixed BioTabs Mycotrex.

TvrdaPalice It looks like the patient is saved and is really thriving. So far, nothing interesting is happening. The light is lower, I've brought the humidity down to 70%, I water it a bit here and there, but not too much. Jiff retains a lot of moisture compared to regular soil, and I don't want to overwater it. It seems like it's happy in the world 🌱. I think the next big step for us is the transplant into 15L.
