Rainbow Sundae 11 was the slowest of the three seeds to emerge, but once established it progressed without drama or corrective intervention. Growth Short, stout seedling structure with tight spacing and good symmetry. The first true leaves are broadening nicely and the next set is developing cleanly from the center. No meaningful stretching is evident. Lighting / PPFD Shared tent lighting during Week 1. Actual seedling-level PPFD was in the roughly 175-225 range across the tent, with individual readings varying with plant height. No lighting increase was required for Rainbow Sundae during the first week. Feed / root zone Kept on the mild early-seedling program used across the tent, approximately 0.6-0.7 EC. The plant maintained healthy color and steady development without any sign that stronger feed was necessary during Week 1. Environment Stable seedling environment with no visible environmental stress. The plant remained upright and compact, with healthy lime-green foliage and clean new growth. Interventions None required. Rainbow Sundae was slower to germinate/emerge than the Canna-Cheese plants, but after emergence the first week proceeded essentially by the book. What the plant indicated The plant appears comfortable with the conservative early strategy. Healthy lime-green color, compact structure, leaf expansion, and active center growth all support continuing gradual increases rather than pushing inputs. Plan going into Week 2 Continue daily modest fertigation in an expanding ring around the seedling, keeping the developing coco root zone moist without saturating the entire 3-gallon container. Continue the mild feed range for now and increase only in response to growth, color, water use, and plant development. Week 1 takeaway Slowest to start, but once she got going Rainbow Sundae delivered a clean, compact, trouble-free first week.
