deFharo Welcome, marijuana growers! 🖐️ 👨‍🌾 I'm starting a new growing season, I'm going to grow six plants in my grow tent... let's go! 😁 This time I've germinated a seed of Caribbean Queen from Humboldt Seeds Company. I put the seed in a glass with hot water, kept it there for 36 hours, and it germinated. Then I placed it between damp cotton, waited another 12 hours before transferring the seed to a small pot with an elevated bottom and dome. I fit 3 pots to elevate the bottom; this technique helps to get many vertical roots, guided by gravity. I prepared a light substrate made of peat and coconut fiber, and added some worm humus. Until two days ago, I had the small pot in the filtered light of a window and sleeping at night. When the first two leaves started to grow, I put this seedling under the light of two LED panels, one with white light at 7700K and another blue at 450nm. For now, light 24 hours a day... 😁 UNTIL NEXT TIME.
