Ramires Hello fellow enthusiasts,
a new grow is on the way for us. A little info about the strain from Zamnesia's description:
It comes from Zamnesia's Tribe program and is not available for free. It is indica dominant (65%) and will grow about 150 cm tall in the tent. The flowering time is around 8 - 9 weeks, and it develops a THC content of up to 25%.
The smell and taste are said to have aromas of glue, gasoline, and pine, but also earth and spices.
The effect is supposed to start with initial euphoria and then switch to a body stone.
We found the combination of aromas quite interesting, hearty - robust. Something different from the Gelato, Biscotti, and Candy direction.
For germination, we placed the seed in a glass with a mixture of water and hydrogen peroxide and put it in a propagator with a heating mat.
By the evening of the second day, the seedling could be placed in coco. We added 2 drops of Zamnesia's Seed Booster to the soaking water.
After 3 days, we were able to transplant the seedling into the final 8L pot and put it in the tent. The lamp is set to achieve a PPFD value of about 250.
We also placed a transparent cup over the seedling to create a good microclimate.
We are definitely as excited as a bowstring to see how the grow goes! 😄

Ramires The first day of the 2nd week is starting. And to be honest, I have a vague feeling that this grow isn't going to be easy. For having raised her little head out of the soil for 8 days, she still looks quite underdeveloped. The germination rate of 7:1 was pretty terrible as well. It went similarly with the Godfeather OG F1. But let's just stay calm and wait. 😉

Ramires Tag 8: The second week of vegetation is starting and I don't think anything will happen. It's basically not growing at all, the leaves aren't developing. The pH level of the water is fine, the light setting is okay too, and we haven't given any nutrients yet. We'll give it another week or two. If there are no noticeable changes in growth by then, we'll stop the grow.
If anyone has any tips for us, feel free to share them! 😁

Ramires Tag 15: After we connected a humidifier in the tent at the beginning of last week, she started to move upwards. The leaves look quite deformed, but she seems to be pushing through. We're definitely more than curious to see how she develops further. In the second node axis, the side shoots are already visible, albeit very small. Depending on how the growth goes, we will top her in a week or two.
Tag 19: She's building up a decent amount of leaf mass, even though it's still deformed. What we find strange is that she is now developing three main shoots. That's how it looks from our perspective. All three shoots are almost the same length, and a fourth is starting to form. We actually wanted to top her in three days, but now we'll wait and see how she continues to develop.

Ramires Tag 21: The good one actually has 3 main stems. "The layman is amazed and the expert wonders." But that's what makes growing so much fun, there's always new little and big surprises and "adventures." From the first node pair, 2 stems are also growing. We bent the three main stems down a bit with LST, and if all goes well, we will top the 5 tips in a week. We removed the large lower leaves and sprayed them preventively with neem oil from above and below. Since the Lunar Howl is in the tent and still smaller, the humidifier stays in the tent.
Tag 27: Today, all three main stems of the pretty one were topped.
