Growfather1 Hello everyone.
Welcome to the new diary for the Banana Runtz F1 Hybrid.
After my last little drama where one seedling decided to check out early, I popped two fresh seeds, and both have sprouted beautifully and look strong.
Third time's the charm, as they say, though technically this is attempt number two.
Let's see what these little ones get up to next week.
Thank you for stopping by and have yourself a great weekend.
Best regards,
Growfather.

Growfather1 Hello everyone.
Update on the Banana Runtz F1 Hybrid part two diary.
They are officially in week one of veg!
Temperatures are perfectly in check, and humidity is sitting on the lower side, between 58% and 68%.
Right now, my vegetative plants are playing hide-and-seek under the canopy of a flowering plant, which means they aren’t getting as much light as they deserve. That’s why these little rebels are stretching for the sky like they’re trying to escape. To fix this, I’m setting up a dedicated veg tent so they can finally enjoy their own personal day in the sun.
Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day.
Best regards,
Growfather

Growfather1 Hello everyone.
Update on the Banana Runtz F1 Hybrid part two diary.
They are officially entering week two of veg!
And honestly, they are looking absolutely fine.
We made a massive upgrade recently.
They are now sitting directly under the LED light instead of playing hide-and-seek under the canopy of a flowering plant.
They are finally enjoying their full day in the sun, and by sun, I mean the blinding artificial glory of modern technology.
They look so happy, I half expect them to start wearing sunglasses soon.
I really want to top them right now, but I think they need a day or two before it's actually wise to do that.
Patience is a virtue, even if it feels like watching paint dry while standing in a sauna.
For the rest, everything is beautifully dialed in.
The humidity is sitting comfortably around 65%.
Temperatures are 21°C at night, and they hit 26°C at the hottest point of the day.
The lights are still running 24/7, because sleep is highly overrated when you're a high-performance F1 hybrid.
Everything is looking great across the board.
So, let's see how they look next week!
Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day.
Best regards,
Growfather

Growfather1 Hello everyone,
They are officially entering week three of veg!
And honestly, they are looking pretty bare right now and definitely not fine.
I just gave them a major, heavy defoliation.
Right now, there are practically no leaves left on them—just the bare branches and nodes staring back at me.
It looks a bit brutal, but it was a necessary step to finally get this thrips situation under control and ensure the light hits exactly where it needs to.
They look less like a lush garden right now and more like a bunch of green twigs trying to survive a storm, but we know the rebound is going to be massive.
The environment in the tent is still holding perfectly steady while they sit under the lights to recover from the shock:
Environmental Metric Value Range
Daytime Temperature 26°C
Nighttime Temperature 21°C
Relative Humidity 62% – 65%
So, let's see how they look next week and hope for a quick recovery!
Thank you for stopping by and have a nice day.
Best regards,
Growfather
