The internode distances remain wonderfully short, while the primary leaf pair has gained leaf area and the next set of serrated leaves is already pushing out vigorously and healthily from the vegetative point. With its juicy, even leaf green and sturdy stem, the little one demonstrates exemplary nutrient uptake as well as excellent root growth in the Light-Mix – a thoroughly successful start to the vegetative growth phase.

all_about_420 At the end of the second week of vegetation, the Naughty Dawg shows an impressive structure and unbridled vitality: In between, she already moved into one of the new pot systems – a real game changer, where no stressful repotting is needed anymore; instead, at the right time, the divider is simply pulled out to provide her with the full soil volume. The transition has been completely seamless for her; she is growing wonderfully stout with extremely tight internode spacing, while the third node is already unfolding quickly. The fan leaves have massively increased in size, displaying flawless, vibrant green foliage, and the main stem is powerfully pushing forward in the center with fresh growth. Thanks to the optimally developed root space, she stands there in perfect health – compact, vibrant, and in an ideal position for upcoming training techniques.

all_about_420 Even though the growth may seem a bit slower at first glance, the Naughty Dawg is laying the perfect foundation underground in week 3 and building an exemplary architecture above ground. The plant impresses with a wonderfully vibrant, deep green color and shows no signs of stress or deficiency. Thanks to the short internodal distances, it continues to grow extremely compact and stout. Particularly pleasing: The first strong side branches are already emerging in the leaf axils of the lower nodes, while the new leaf pair on the main stem is taking off. The plant is clearly preparing for a significant growth spurt, which is why the first topping is expected to take place next week to encourage bushy branching. An absolutely stable, healthy habit!

all_about_420 In the fourth week of vegetation, the Naughty Dawg was really in for some action! At the beginning of the week, she was still beautifully untouched in the pot, but nothing helped: The scissors had to be applied, and the main shoot had to be topped. Just one day later, the decision was made to go even more radical and remove another layer of leaves to reduce the plant from three to two levels. To direct the remaining shoots in the desired direction and to form a flat, bushy base, she was immediately laid flat using LST (Low Stress Training) and metal stakes. The lady handled this drastic intervention surprisingly well: Just one day after the training, the shoots stood up powerfully towards the light again and showed healthy, vital growth. By the weekend, she had visibly recovered and was already pushing out strong new, lush foliage. Now she can first regenerate in peace and gain mass before the next round of topping is due in the foreseeable future to further maximize the future headbud count. A complete success in terms of plant training!

all_about_420 In der fünften Vegetationswoche hat die Naughty Dawg eindrucksvoll unter Beweis gestellt, wie vital sie ist: Nach den Eingriffen der Vorwoche hat sich die Pflanze vollkommen regeneriert und legt nun eine fantastische Wachstumsdynamik an den Tag. Aus der trainierten Basis schieben die vier Haupttriebe absolut symmetrisch, kräftig und mit sattem Blattgrün nach oben. Sie bekommt jetzt noch ein kurzes Zeitfenster zur weiteren Kräftigung, bevor zeitnah die nächste Trainingseinheit in Form eines zweiten Toppings ansteht, um die Triebanzahl nochmals zu multiplizieren und das Fundament für ein dichtes Meer gleichmäßiger Colas in der Blüte zu schaffen. Mit voraussichtlich noch ein bis zwei Wochen Restvegetation präsentiert sich die Schöne in einer makellosen Ausgangslage für das finale Blüte-Setup.
