Was given two Early Miss seeds when I picked up my 5 pack of CBD Auto Cheese. It will be interesting to see how these do. I prefer a high CBD strain and these are 20mg THC. I might have to give the majority away, but what the hell, they were free!
Both of the Early Miss are growing well. Noticed one looks a little deformed. I'm warming up to the idea of using the flowers in a medicinal tincture or honey.
Outside getting some light. These are roughly the same height as my CBD Auto Cheese but have a much broader main leaf. Nice color. One looked a little deformed at first but looks ok now.
The two Early Miss plants are looking healthy. These both got FIMed then forced into LST using string and paperclips. Will see how they do, but as of today they are already looking healthy again - dark color and are turning to find the sun.
Early Miss grow is moving along - had hot weather here and a lot of sun so they've been full sun most days.
Both plants have roughly doubled in size since last week.
The two Early Miss are now looking like they've moved past the Auto Cheese that I popped on the same day.
Both EM plants were FIM'd on the same day and seem to be getting really different results. I think I might start topping all of them rather than FIMing; two big kolas seems much better to me than a bunch of random smaller ones, but I have a lot to learn still.
Started feeding August 6.
Had some cooler, cloudier weather with lots of rain so decided to keep them in the greenhouse to stay warm. Still had lots of growth although I think I got too aggressive with leaf removal. Was trying to ensure the lower flowers got lots of light but ended up with a couple of scraggly looking plants :( Oh well, they were freebies as samples from Crop King, so nothing lost I suppose.
Oh well. The tall lanky sativa looking mystery plant from my first grow is still gaining height and weight, and is now about 10 weeks old. She's definitely fragrant with big buds and leaves are starting to turn fall colours. I look forward to the harvest.
Plants are thriving. Early miss is now about 20cm taller than the CBD Cheese Auto it's growing beside. The CAC is shorter and more bush while the Early Miss are more sparse and lanky. Still, they seem to be flowering nicely and filling out. Going to add some nutrients to the soil today as it's been a couple of weeks.
Harvested the lanky girl, she's so fragrant and sticky. Obviously sativa dominant but I don't know enough to tell anything beyond that. Looking forward to tasting her in a couple of weeks.
Plants are definitely taller and more lanky than the other plants I started at the same time. Looks like I will get a decent yield eventually but just a bigger plant overall. I think these will have more larfy buds but hell, they were free and it's supposed to be pretty potent THC percentage. The lanky girl harvested last week will be dry trimmed this weekend and will try a sample then.
Higher THC and pretty good yield. The label did not list any CBD numbers but I would say from experience that it's moderate. In higher doses I do get a little twinge of anxiety on occasion. Mostly a happy, calm and mellow buzz. Perfect for a relaxing hot tub in the evening or pain relief.
