Grolig Germinating 10 SD and Runtz auto from Barneys.. Was doing a "phenohunt" where I chose 4 out of 10 plants, based on how fast they were establishing roots and growing (didn't separate them, so I will NOT know what will come out of these 4).
Using a 90L DWC (oxypot 4) where I planted the rockwool cubes as soon as the roots where coming out of the bottom.
I then poured some T.A. Micro Hard Water - Which I didn't measure, as I usually do this by eye measuring (at this stage).
Adjusted pH 2 times throughout 3 days - not much tho

Grolig Day 4: filling up the rest of the net pots with LECA, as roots are starting to pop out of the bottom. I chose to only fill 3/4 of the pot to begin with because it made it easier to lift the pots to check if the roots were coming out.
I then poured some fresh cold water into the reservoir and waited a little before i pH adjusted from 6.5 to 6.0
I then took some water from the reservoir and topfed all 4 plants.
Day 6: pH was drifting from 6.0 to 6.3 - and I plan to let it sit there, until it reaches 6.5 and then I will regulate down to 6.0
Day 7: Fed the res with 1 ml/L with each of T.A Micro + Bloom + T.A Fulvic Acid + Athena Cleanse.
Plants looked a little dry at the netpots, so I decided to give it a minor top feed after adding nutes.

Grolig Day 8: Not much too see. Steady growth. pH has been stable at 6.3 for the last 3 days or so.. Will do a top off with fresh water at day 9, and will probably regulate down to 6.0 pH at the same time... Happy growing guys 🙏
Day 9-10: Did a top off with approx. 3.5-4 L plain tap water
I then added nutrients in the following order: 2 mL/L Micro + 1 ml/L Bloom + 1 mL/L Fulvic + 1 ml/L Cleanse
Lastly I regulated pH down to 5.8.. I usually aim for 6.0 but I think a 0.2 extra buffer is just fine.
(I use the Milwaukee digital PRO controller/doser for continuous monitoring).
1 hour after I added nutes, I measured the EC to drift around 0.98-1.0 mS/Cm
Day 10: pH stable at 5.9 and EC stable at 1.07 - growth is looking fine even tho I'm rolling with a slightly high VPD sometimes.
Light still dimmed to 25% and run 24 hours
Day 11: Found what I suspect to be either calcium or magnesium deficiency - Recently moved to a new place and I thought that the hardness of the water would be enough to supply a sufficient amount of micro nutes as I didn't see this issue in a recent soil run, but I guess it isn't enough for DWC.
Luckily I did buy some cal-mag just to be safe, so I gave it close to 1 mL/L and will be doing this with all feeds going forward.
(However, I am also wondering if the pH was too low at 5.8 (considering the 0.2 uncertinaty in my pH monitor))
Day 14: No signs of deficiency on new growth but 2 fan leaves on most plants ar severely damaged by this deficiency, so I'll probably remove these at the first defoliation in a couple of weeks. pH stable at 6.0 and EC around 1.0 .. Hopefully everything will turn out good

Grolig Day 16: Added some plain water. pH and EC still looks fine (6.0 and 1.1)
Realised I probably went to far with the feed at day 10 (overfed a bit) and nutrient lockout likely is the reason to the deficiency. However, at day 16 new growth looks fine, so I will just let it sit in the current solution for the next 4-5 days or so..
