wolfvb Week 1 – Germination / Sprouting Strain: Pink Runtz Cake (Regular) by Dutch Passion (popped alongside White Gushers) Setup: AC Infinity humidity dome with integrated Samsung LED propagation lighting Medium: moist coco Update Notes: Officially kicking off the run for Pink Runtz Cake! Sown directly into moist starter cells inside the AC Infinity humidity dome with the built-in LED running low and gentle to keep temperature and RH dialed in. Top vents are closed to maintain high moisture levels until sprouts break the surface. Once taproots establish and the seedlings pop, they’ll transition straight under the Ionframe EVO3 inside the main tent setup. Let’s get it rolling! 🚀🌱

wolfvb 🌿 Another Seedling Takes Flight! 🌱⛺ Let's keep the new cycles rolling! What is up, GrowDiaries fam? We have another brand new run officially underway, and this little seedling has broken through the surface to say hello! 📈 The Details / Progress Report: We Have Sprouted: We have a successful germination, though she is dealing with a classic case of "helmet head." Looking closely, you can see the seed casing is still firmly stuck to one of the little green cotyledons. The Big Stretch: She is definitely reaching hard for the light! The stem is quite long, pale, and leaning over in the wide shot. The Setup: She is currently housed in a plastic propagation tray filled with a nice, dark, moist coco/soil starter mix. I also spot that "Masters at work since 1987" Dutch Passion tag in the corner, teasing some excellent genetics for this grow! 💧 Next Steps: The main priority right now is to stop that stretching! I will need to lower the grow light closer to the canopy or dial up the intensity just a bit so she stops spending all her energy reaching upward. As for the stuck seed casing, a tiny drop of water directly on the shell can help soften it up so she can push it off naturally. When it comes time for her first transplant, I will make sure to bury that long, leggy stem deep into the medium to give her a sturdy foundation. And forgot to say we are running her 12/12 from the start , let's see how this will go, it was inspired by @DogDoctorOfficial 👇 Question for the community: When you get a leggy seedling that stretches hard in the first few days, do you just bury the extra stem during the first transplant, or do you try to prop her up with a toothpick in the starter tray? Let me know your seedling rescue tactics! A fresh start with some Dutch Passion genetics! Let's keep it growing! 🌱💨

wolfvb 🌿 Week 2 Update: Slow and Steady for the New Beans! 🌱⛺ What is up, GrowDiaries fam? We are moving into Week 2 for this new round of Dutch Passion genetics, and while these seedlings are taking their sweet time, they are officially on their way! The Details / Progress Report: Just Waking Up: We have one seedling that is just barely starting to pry its round cotyledon leaves open to face the light. She is a little behind schedule but standing tall with a healthy, fuzzy stem. True Leaves Peeking: The second seedling has a slightly funky, bent cotyledon leaf, but you can clearly see the tiny first set of true, serrated leaves actively pushing through the center. The Environment: They are nestled safely in their starter tray, and the dark coco/soil mix looks perfectly moist without being waterlogged. The Dutch Passion breeder tags are locked in place, so we know we have some heavy-hitting genetics brewing. Next Steps: It is all about patience and a delicate touch right now. I will be keeping the medium lightly misted to encourage the taproots to stretch out without drowning them. Once those true leaves fully open up on both seedlings, I can start dialing in the LED intensity to ensure they don't get too leggy. Question for the community: When you have a seed that sprouts with slightly mutated or bent cotyledons, do you usually find that the plant grows out of it quickly, or does it tend to lag behind its siblings throughout veg? Let me know your experiences below! They are small now, but big things are coming! Let's keep it growing! 🌱💨

Good morning! I bury the long stem under the soil, tying it down doesn't work, and I increase the fans so that the stem strengthens naturally. Furthermore, to prevent this, my fans have been running at increased power from the very beginning on the little cuttings or seedlings. Good luck! (*^-^)/\(*^-^*)/\(^-^*)
