ShivaShanti Hello, I will begin a new experimental diary. I germinated all three strains in their own glass of dechlorinated reverse osmosis water, left outside overnight to acclimate the temperature to outdoor temp. Lemon Cherry Cookies auto popped in 12 hours. Banana Purple Punch took 24 hours. LSD25 took around 34 hours. Upon germination they were sequentially planted into their pots at a depth of a ½ inch. The first to hit the sun was Lemon Cherry Cookies auto, second was the Banana Purple Punch auto, and the third was the LSD25 auto. I will abbreviated the names going forward as LCC, BPP, LSD.
LCC seedling looks a bit slow. The BPP and LSD both have blown past the LCC. As you can see from the photos it has low vigor and it was the first to be planted into its medium.
We are beginning our Fall season and heading into our Winter months. Lower Tropical Temps, very low Humidity, and No Rain as winter is our dry season. The lower temps should help to make these purple strains show even more Purple.
I chose to run these Indica Dominant Strains during this season because of the threat from Bud Rot or PM from the heavy humidity.
Anyways I hope you all enjoy this outdoor autoflower experiment. Fastbuds germination rates have been 100% for me completely and consistently the best autos I have ever grown.

ShivaShanti Lemon Cherry Cookies as seen in the photo has extremely narrow true leaves. I was under the belief it was a Indica Dominant Varietal. But judging from its first set of true leaves, they are extremely narrow and very sativa in appearance. Fastbuds knows. Ill do some more research.
LSD25 and Banana Purple Punch both look Indica Dominant and are growing twice as fast as the LCC.
They are already on their second set of true leaves and are growing rapidly with high vigor.
The LCC is growing very slowly with low vigor.
All outdoor in a sub tropical/tropical region. High humidity and high temperatures but as we continue into Winter season. We will definitely have some lower temps in the 50sF and 60sF and maybe even some nights in the 40sF. I will cover the plants with a sheet in the future when it gets cold. I am hoping for some very Purple flowers.
Lets continue to watch this outdoor fastbuds experiment.
Edit: Sundae Frost has failed to exit the growing medium, even though I germinated in a glass of dechlorinated reverse osmosis water and did witness germination.
Edit Edit:
We can see by the end of the first week Banana Purple Punch Auto has high vigor. Nice wide Indica looking leaves.
LSD25 auto has decent vigor. LSD25 auto also has nice wide Indica looking leaves.
Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto has low vigor. Her leaves look very very Sativa. Extra thin and longer than the others. Very weird.

ShivaShanti Week two with the Fastbuds Outdoor Purple Trio Experiment haha. Lemon Cherry Cookies, LSD25 Auto, Banana Purple Punch Auto.
Yesterday they were slammed by a nasty thunderstorm.
LSD25 fell over shes a bit top heavy and still a bit sensitive.
BPP is growing nicely, very strong, did not fall over in the downpour.
We just have a bit of a challenge with little miss Lemon Cherry Cookies auto. She has very low vigor, she is growing very slowly and still heavily Sativa in appearance. I haven't seen leaves this thin since I grew Mexican Sativas over 20 years ago.
She is most likely growing very slow because her genetics are leaning heavily Sativa.
Sativa sometimes do grow slowly at first and later she should get her legs in about a month and explode. She is also losing her bottom round leaves because of the constant rain we've had. I haven't fed any of these plants yet. Only SuperThrive and Dechlorinated reverse osmosis water or Rainwater.
Im not a genetics expert at all but Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto is marketed as a hybrid/mostly indica. This particular specimen must be an outlier. I'm okay with having a heavy sativa leaning plant. I was just expecting a more indica leaning strain. Its 100% okay with me.
Lets continue to watch this experiment and see what happens.

ShivaShanti Beginning of week 3 Fastbuds Outdoor Experiment.
Banana Purple Punch Auto is so far the leader in vigor and speed. Looks great so far. Indica Dominant leaves are wonderful looking. Just started 1/2 strength fertilizer. Salt based synthetic.
LSD25 Auto is second slightly less vigor and again Indica Dominant leaves. Looks great. Just started 1/2 strength fertilizer. Salt based synthetic.
Lemon Cherry Cookies Auto is still showing the lowest vigor out of the three. I have hopes that it is not stunted. But I know in my heart probably is stunted. I will not give up on it. Lets keep and eye on the one and see what happens. It may be a late bloomer. Just started 1/2 strength salt based synthetic fertilizer.
Orchid Fertilizer, its an experiment anyways. Lets see what happens. Once pre-flowers show I will switch to organic bloom nutrients. SuperThrive is also added to every watering.
We are beginning our dry season and I now will have the ability to control watering better. I will begin drying back and power feeding. I will keep drying back and power feeding for the entire grow. I will give plenty of water of course and monitor their health appropriately. We do not need to water everyday. Time to just leave them alone to enjoy the beautiful outdoor life.
Edit: Middle week update. We are growing with LSD25 and Banana Purple Punch. Lemon Cherry Cookies looks like its on its way downhill but I will allow it to grow and see what happens. Nice experiment. LSD25 is growing very fast and big and its even in the smallest pot haha. Smallest Pot=Biggest Plant. Thats a weird one. Maybe its just extra vigorous. So far the leader out of the 3 Fastbuds outdoor indica experiment.

ShivaShanti Mid week update.
I am seeing explosive growth with LSD25, even with a 3qt pot, LSD25 is growing vigorously and reminds me of Pound Cakes Speed. I am very happy with LSD25. Super healthy and growing very fast. Color is beautiful, stature is stout and hefty. This may be the one to watch in the outdoor purple experiment.
Banana Purple Punch is right behind LSD25. She is also growing vigorously and fast. We're at almost 3 weeks and we are seeing fast, healthy growth from these two varietals. Lets go Banana Purple Punch.
Now Lemon Cherry Cookies, she is struggling for absolutely no reason at all. Soil is exactly the same, she also has a one gallon pot. She should be growing super fast like her friends but nope. She is stunted and growing at a snails pace. She's not dead yet. Im hoping for some 3-4 week explosive growth. Maybe she will wake up and just surprise us all with her beauty. Im crossing my fingers haha. I want them all to do well. Lets give her a chance. Im not overwatering, im not even feeding her much at all, im allowing her to dry back. No rain right now. Only water I have been providing is by hand every other day or when she dries back. Ive done my best. It may have been an old seed. It could have gotten nipped by a nemotode or some type of fungus.
