Izukasi I’ve done a bit more reading up on cuttings, and since I have the means right now, I thought: why not take two "Permanent Marker" cuttings? I took both of them from the plant on the right because only that one was the right size and so on. For now, I’m keeping the humidity very high—around 70–80%—using a plastic cup and misting them. This is another experiment and mainly just for fun; as always, I’m really curious to see how it turns out.

Izukasi It has been 16 days since I took the cuttings, and today it was time to make a decision: whether to continue and which one gets to stay in the tent. Only one cutting managed to take root; the other one didn't, so it’s out. The remaining cutting has slowly started to push out new leaves—they look very light green in the photo, but I assume (and hope) that’s just because it’s very fresh growth. I’m keeping the cover on for a bit longer, but positioned so that there’s a gap for air to circulate, helping it acclimate to the environment inside the tent. For now, I’ll just keep watching and hoping! And even if it doesn't work out, that’s fine—it’s just a small experiment for me anyway.
Nice little experiment! 🌱 Always interesting to try something new and see how it turns out. Keep us updated on how the Permanent Marker cuttings develop, we’re curious to see the results too!
