kingsymba Today, all four seedlings were positioned in their 4-inch Grodan rockwool blocks on top of 8-inch Big Mama blocks. This raised the plant canopy approximately 8 inches closer to the grow light.
Plants appear healthy, with green foliage, upright stems, and visible new growth. Estimated plant height is 3–3.5 inches above the original 4-inch blocks. No obvious discoloration or leaf damage observed.
Prepared fresh nutrient solution using tap water, Jack’s 3-2-1 nutrients, and supplements. Diluted the solution with 12 fluid ounces of additional water and adjusted pH using General Hydroponics pH Down.
Final recorded nutrient measurements:
* pH: 5.86
* EC: 1.528 mS/cm
* Estimated TDS: 764 ppm
* Solution volume: Approximately 1.09 gallons
Watering plan: Approximately 0.95 liters (1 quart) per plant per watering, with frequency determined by block moisture rather than a fixed daily schedule.
Observations: Plants are transitioning to their larger growing blocks. Continue monitoring foliage, root development, moisture retention, and light exposure.
