Grow going too well not to share. Plants are growing a few inches every day. 4 autos in planters and 5 photoperiod in ground. Will start to flower in about 5 weeks. Plants are going to be huge.
I realized the height was getting out of control for the greenhouse. Tied everything down and now it's starting to hook. Lots of lst and supercropping. The Coco Bruce back left too some bad damage today lost 2 big stocks, we'll see how she recovers.
Happy growing everyone!
Everything going well. Tied down getting good stretch. See what next week has to offer. Seeing lots of pre flowers on Do-si-dos. Continuing to spred the cannopy.
Everything keeps growing well. Healthy leaves constant growth and no bug or fungas problems. Lots of pre flowers but no budding yet. Have stoped training and just letting them go.
@Growdaddy heres a couple of links that may help https://www.mandalaseeds.com/Guides/Marijuana-Mildew https://www.cannabisbusinesstimes.com/article/the-eight-biggest-pesticide-fungicide-mistakes-youre-making/
I hope this answers your question
Another week of vigorous growth. I had to defoliate and tie down the plants again. I am concerned about them growing over the fence... interested in opinions about the height. I switched from Advanced Nutrients to Botinacare Organic fertilizers. I like the idea of not being able to burn the plants. Excited to see them flower should be about 2 weeks out. Happy growing everyone.
I went on Holliday's for a few days and came home to this, wow.
Looks like everything is starting to really stretch. Do-si-dos is in full flower looks like week 2-3. I will be able to get better bud pics next week as they start to swell. So far it looks like a good strain for Ontario weather.
The blueberry plant in the planter is also maturing quickly, appears to be in week 2-3 as well. The mother blueberry is in early flower. Seems a little odd given they both have the same genetics. It must be related to planter size vs in the ground or perhaps location.
Everything else is in its first week of flower. I've noticed some holes in a number of leaves, can't see any mites but I am going to spray them before the flowers get too big.
It looks like I may have to tie them down once again to prevent them growing over the fence.
Overall I'm very happy with progress, until next week happy growing!
Everything is growing well.
A few plants are stretching like crazy. They're getting tall and showing no flower development.
Do si dos is developing really nice long dense colas. It's a smaller plant then the rest with indica dominant characteristics. Curious to see how early it will finish.
Happy growing everyone!
Plants grew over the fence. 7 feet tall from th ground. I put a transparent cover over them to give some security from the road and protection from the elements.
Everything is flowering. Crazy stretch from Cinderella 99 and Coco Bruce.
Do si dos is well into flower. Steady bud development with tons of trics frolicking among the sugar leaves. As a result of early flowering it's by far the smallest plant. Looking forward to having an early finisher.
Hey guys, I'm in bud heaven right now. Everything is maturing, lots of dense crystal covered buds forming everywhere. The Cinderella 99 is the slowest to flower and is still stretching.
Do si dos is in full flower. Beautiful tight resin covered nugs. Going to be a nice early finisher, finishing mid-late September.
I am keeping an eye open for mold and mildew. Treating the plants weekly and closely monitoring. The slower flowering plants won't be ready untill mid October.
Happy with the results and mother nature so far. Until next week farmers!
Buds are swelling up like crazy. Smell is starting to get very strong. Blueberry, CBD Big Bud Skunk and Do SI Do's are well into flower. The buds are enormous!!
I've noticed a few are nitrogen hungry. I've been supplimenting and they seem to be happy.
All in all very happy with the progress and how smooth things are going.... so far.
Until next week happy growing everyone.
The plants are starting to swell with dense buds and a pungent earthy aroma.
I harvested one blueberry I had in a container. Had a bit of bud rot, probably 5%. None the less the buds were ready, heavy tight dense nugs. Wet weight trimmed off the stem was 978gs.
Do si dos is almost done. She is small in comparison to the other plants, but she will be ready soon and looks like to be incredibly potent.
Everything else is coming along, Fingers crossed for good weather.
It's been an interesting week.
The tops and big coloas on the Do Si Dos plants were harvested. Big resinous dense nugs. Both plants had a bit of bud rot that if not monitered closely could of gotten out of control.
Had to be harvested or I would or lost everything. Great bag appeal and a very unique smell. Small buds still on the plant. Wet weight 2227gs.
Looks like Blueberry and CBD Skunk/big bud will be ready next followed by Coco Bruce. My Cinderella 99 is only a few weeks into flower so I don't have much hope for her.
Had some minor pm on the Coco Bruce in the planter. Treated it. It is harvestable but I would like to wait at least another week.
Until next week, happy growing.
Dosido was a fun plant to grow. Short stock indica dominant plant. It finished in late September and was susceptible to mold and bud rot. Lost a number of colas to rot, approximately 100gs dry. Very potent strain with unique terp profile. I did get a few seeds in it. I didn't spot any naner but I have germinated a few of the seeds, all female so I am assuming it self pollinated. I would recommend growing this strain but be extra cautious outdoors.

Plant grew big but had major bud rot issues. Harvest mid October. Would not grow this strain outdoors again. Would be good indoors with the big yield. It was easy to grow but the bud rot was enough to scare me away. The buds turned out dense with a fruity terp profile.
Looking great, looks like they are loving the hot weather. Hopefully the fall will be equally as good.
I'm following along watching your Do Si Dos, curious how you find it to grow and the results. I am considering adding it.
Happy growing
@Growdaddy420, good to know, I am following along to see the results. I love this about the GD platform, it is great to be able to follow growers and see actual progress/ results, any issues and unbiased opions about strains.
Cheers
You have the do-is-dos outside ?? How that going for you ....that must be the best tasting weeds I’ve smoke in 30 plus years and amazing buzz to ....I’m gonna followed you to see your result if you’re outdoors....you in southern Ontario as well .?
@OntarioBigGreen, Ya buddy I'm in southern Ontario. I have do si dos outside and inside. Have never smoked it before and can't find much feedback on it. Should have some indoor ready in 5-6 weeks. Can't wait to try it!
Holy shit man go away and come back to that is awesome these are some very good looking girls .. wow I wish I could let that grow in my back yard but I have to hide my girls ..
Great looking grow👍. I'm curious to know what you are using and how often for fungus. I'm growing 4 Blueberry outdoor that are prone to PM. So much rain in Southern Ontario this summer. I've used Safers 3in1 but its expensive, hydrogen peroxide and water, and sulphur dust and water(leaves your plants a powdery mess afterwards). I'm looking for an economical solution.
@DeaneR, Thanks for the compliments, the plants are happy so far. I am using SafeGrow Mildew cure. Here is a link https://www.amazon.com/Safer-Gro-Organic-Fungicide-Concentrate/dp/B003AU829S
It cost me an arm and a leg to get it here from the states but it works well and has lasted 2 season. I also use off the shelf insecticidal soap and pyretherin (only if needed). I spray all of the foliage around the plants including the lilacs and other plants prone to PM every 10 days. I expect to see some pm and bud rot but am doing everything I can do o minimize and prevent. All the best. Growdaddy.
Nice work! Your plants look so healthy and are nearly at the finish line! I love that you are harvesting in stages to give the smaller buds a bit more time while getting the larger nugs into safety to help beat the mold and weather. I'm thinking of doing the same this weekend when I chop my gelato.
The do si dos is starting to sound like an interesting strain to grow. Looking forward to more updates on these lovely ladies! good luck
@S_Dubz, thank you. Harvesting in stages is a must for me, limits how much trimming needs to be fine st once and let's the smell buds mature a bit more.
The do si dos is a great strain its biggest downfall is the buds are too dense...good problem to have haha.
Good luck with your harvest.
Looks great, budding out nicey.
I was thinking that greenhouse looks like a great idea for next year. Is that just pvc pipes bent to form the structure?
@BarrieGrower, Thanks dude so far so good.
The greenhouse was great in the spring. Had the plants out in late April, with some autoflowers. Autos finished in June/July.
I bought a cheap greenhouse kit. Metal is cheap and flimsy, tarp is okay. I'll be luck to get two seasons out of it all but I think it's definitely worth the headstart, especially if you're in Barrie.
If I do it again, 2x4 base with PVC hoops. Than buy the same tarp I have.
