Welcome to my Gorilla Glue 4 by Original Sensible Seeds diary
She popped out of the soil this week, today i had time to make some nice pictures
The seedling looks nice and healthy, let's hope for some nice development in the coming weeks.
I heard this weed is dank, so we're going to try this one too.
The soil has been treated with guano tea as feeding for the last plant, so it will have enough nutrients to give this one enough power for the first couple of weeks. I might be adding some calcium to support the nitrogen availability.
Welcome to week2 of my Gorilla Glue #4 by Original Sensible Seeds diary
Looking nice, i think some kind of bug has played with the older leaf.
Eager to see next weeks development
Welcome to my Gorilla Glue #4 by Original Sensible seeds diary
Not much growth, i think the nghts are too cold, we had some night frost, but all survived.
Hoping for some explosive growth soon
Leaf is nice and healthy for an outdoor
Welcome to my GG#4 by original sensible seeds diary
Looking healthy, a bit short perhaps, but this isn't a 8 weeks from seed auto so let her grow a bit on her own
had some visitors on the older leaf, some kind of annoying bug, but it seems to have left.
Let's hope the bugs stay away
and wait for more new growth
Welcome to week 5 of my Gorilla Glue #4 by Original Sensible seeds diary
This one is a bit tiny, i think it's going to be very compact
very strange, all plants did grow very large in this same pot, but after some research, i have learned it's normal for the gg4 to be a bit short.
leaf does look healthy and dark
dropped a little bit of calcium on one leaf....
i popped a bruce banner seed in the same pot waiting for it to come out
Welcome to week6 of my GG#4 by original sensible seeds
i think i had bad luck with both of the seeds i planted from this breeder
a bit small, but i wont pull the plug out of the project, since it does look good.
very stealthy plant, beats a lowryder in size
this could be grown guerilla easily
Welcome to my Gorilla Glue 4 by Original Sensible seeds diary
Almost finishing
this little stealthy diamond
cutting the nutrients
only watering
It's probably not the genetics which took care of the stealthy grow size, there are other diaries with huge plants compared to this one, while leaf etc. looked great, i think the straiin is a bit sensitive and somewhere i must have screwed up something bigtime.
Buds are small, but smell is overwhelming lemony and fresh, so sad that the size is a bit small. I already popped some other seeds of this breeder, the Original Sensible Seeds to give it another shot, i already planted a bruce banner #3 auto in the GG#4 pot to see if i get better growth, but we don't seem very successful in achieving better growth for now.I will try another seed in the same soil next to the bruce banner to see what the results are with other genetics (in this case my own genetics, sugar kush x critical xxl auto, result is full auto genetics with dense leavecurling trichomes packed almost too close to the others.)
Welcome to week 10 of my stealthy GG#4
Almost finished
i have a bruce banner in same container, same soil etc, just went into flowering and size is already bigger than this one, good sign.
Smells is very lemony
Stinks up the place
Welcome to my GG#4 by Original Sensible Seeds diary
Last week, flushing
looks great, smells awesome
no nutrients more
Hope she fattens up a tiny bit more
Welcome to week 12 of my GG#4 by Original Sensible seeds
Ready for harvesting, going to cut it down when it's dark
My misfit didn't grow large but the bud stinks up the place and makes me drewl.
this weed smells very nice, like a bunch of lemons in a bag of old fashioned skunk weed.
I've planted another one, i will probably continue in this diary after harvest report.
That one looks to grow better/normal
I leave a lot of leaf on the buds for a reason, the rough cut's purpose is very simple, when you are going to roll one, and you grab some bud and start taking off the pieces of leaves, the smell arises from the bud, and is very appealing, for me an important part of the smoking expierience. Very different than sativa/haze, but just as narcotic high just like the modern haze types. Dutch Ghosttrain haze has same kind of effect. Smoke is very smooth, very lemon/lime, not earthy, perhaps a bit pine. The high last very long and. The bud has good bag appeal. despite of me having bad luck with this one, it came out like a star and i can say i'm very happy with the result. A piece of 2cm length 1.5 cm width weighs around 1 gram. Very very dense bud, sticky.. aha.. now i see why it's full name is Sticky Monkey GG#4
Well, i had some bad luck, this was standing on a cold spot on the wrong time so it stayed short, very short. Bud the yielded weed is dank anyway. i could easilly grow this indoors without carbon filter, the smell is very pleasant, the smell reminds me of some kind of liquid lemon cleaning soap. So in that way it does smell dank, it hits like a bomb, just like matured whiskey, when you take a drink you feel like to sit down for a minute and relax... well with this weed i had to sit back. The high thc levels don't mean so much if you compare this with a grade sativas with lower thc. I'm more into indica weed, so this is like one of the superweeds that will stay for a while. I have another growing right now, and will put the next one within this diary so you can see the true power of it's magnificent genetics. After 2 weeks after sprouting its already bigger than this ones total length. btw. the weed makes you talkatative after some time, after you recover from the first blast.
Welcome to the 2nd round of the GG#4 by Original Sensible seeds
2nd round within this diary
Looks better than round 1, but there's a lot more to improve for me
low on the nutrients currently, nice healthy leaves
there were some thrips on the leaf, but i killed 'm (at least, i think i did it)
Welcome to my 2nd round within this diary of the
Gorilla Glue#4 by Original Sensible seeds
As you can see, in a different setup the genetics are performing far better, So now we know for sure that round 1 was just a misfit, i made some mistakes + a whole lot of bad luck.
This one is a bit taller, had some pest problems, but they are gone now.
After years i got rid of the gnats. cinnamon is the best,
Let's wait for coming weeks development.
Welcome to my 2nd round within diary week 2 flowering of
Gorilla Glue #4 by Original Sensible seeds
This one is normal size, a lot bigger than the first round.
and, this one had some problems with bugs in the beginning
seems to be recovered and growing hard
Welcome to my 2nd round of
Gorilla Glue #4
by Original Sensible Seeds
The smell is very potent, i'm starting to see the potential of this strain.
I think in the coming year i'll start another round on a soilles medium to achieve better results.
Welcome to round 2 within this diary of my
Gorilla Glue #4 Auto by Original Sensible Seeds
Week 4 of flowering
packng buds
can't wait to see more of it
btw.dont laugh at it, the previous round within this diary was even worse. but i won't cut it, because it smell so perfect. even though it had thrips in an early stage, the growth in length was good, i lost some lower branches, but it's still worth the wait
Welcome to my 2nd round in this diary of the
Gorilla Glue#4 by Original Sensible seeds
Almost finished, the bud smells very strong and lemony/lime and a hint of pine
can't wait to do a run on coco, perhaps in the beginning of the coming year
