A_Haze_THAI420 Things got out of hand. Hello! I'm a new grower and I hope this story will be somewhat helpful for those who can read Thai. 😂 The story begins with me trying to learn from YouTube and various websites before I decided to grow on my own. I went with a typical Thai strain that a friend brought for me. I'm on a DIY budget, so I built my own tent sized 60x60x100, using a water plant light along with a 65W CFL. I tried this setup for about a month, but the light wasn't enough. The stems kept stretching, so I figured it would be better to move them outside. Then a friend brought me some Bud from Gorilla Glue to try, and it felt amazing! I really liked it. And then, there were 4 seeds inside! That's where the story really begins. Going back to March 3rd, which was the day I planted the seeds, and they actually sprouted! 😂😂😂 My first investment was happening! I added an HLG 65W light to supplement the original CFL 65W. I thought the plants should survive the early leaf stage. "Let's count week 1." In the picture, it's March 13th, the first week of the vegetative stage. During this time, the heat from the CFL really affected the plants. It got really hot, and opening the tent just made it steamy. I had to install a small 4-inch exhaust fan to help out. Let's see if I can get through the first week! ^^ First week Note -Seed unknown -Tent DIY - Light HLG 65W+CFL 65W - Peat moss 100%

A_Haze_THAI420 Change the house for new roots / Why is it so hot?! Entering the second week of leaf making, starting with repotting the little one. It was quite a hassle as you can see; I had to use a cutter to cut around the edges of the pot (the cabinet is super tiny, couldn't fit it in) 😂 The air in the grow tent feels like an oven, I really can't take it anymore. I had to take out the exhaust tube and add a fan for better airflow. Gotta keep the humidity in check a bit, I think it should be okay. Maybe I need to buy an extra LED light? One 65W isn't enough TT Week 2 Note -Seed unknown -Tent DIY - Light HLG 65W -Remove CFL 65W (Too hot) - Peat moss 50% + Perlite 50%

A_Haze_THAI420 topping/ LST We're entering week three now, and it's time to deal with the rapid growth of the plant. But which method is best! Since the seeds came in a confusing way, I don't even know if they're Photo or Auto, so I'm handling the techniques bit by bit. Should I top it? Just looking at it, I'll guess it's a Photo. So, I'll just top the very top new growth and do some LST to bend it a bit so the new nodes can get some light. At this point, it's clear that the 65W LED light isn't enough for four plants, and the new nodes are starting to look a bit yellow. The tent is getting too small as well. *** It's time for a big investment! **** Week 3 Note -Seed unknown -Tent DIY - Light HLG 65W - Peat moss 50% + Perlite 50% - Topping - LST

A_Haze_THAI420 Week 4 Note -Move pots - Base Nutrient out of my stock. Cannabis leaves clearly indicating Nutrient Deficiencies -Error calculation peat moss and perlite in soil -PH Meter is broken -New LED HLG288-240W "Week of Mistakes" Moved pots/calculating perlite/nutrients out of stock/Hero has arrived Started by moving the pots into a 5-gallon smart pot. The mistake began when I bought insufficient perlite, needing to mix the soil anew three times. The result in the soil used consists of 20% peat moss, 20% perlite, and the rest is regular bagged soil (impatient, not enough, didn't wait to buy more). Additionally, this week, the nutrients in stock ran out, waiting for delivery for another week. This is crazy! The leaves are clearly showing signs of deficiency in essential nutrients NPK. And on top of that, the PH meter hasn't arrived yet, which means that previously, I never adjusted the water's PH before reducing it (ordered it a long time ago, but couldn't use it, so waiting for the new one to arrive). But there is still some good news: the HLG 240W light from the handsome bear has come in to significantly improve the lighting efficiency. As you can see, after LST, new shoots are popping up everywhere and very quickly, but the leaves are a bit wilted and dry. *** Waiting for nutrients for another 5-6 days, will they survive?****

A_Haze_THAI420 week 5 Note -Nutrients back The leaf look better.(Colour) -Leaf showing symptoms of wilt Stress from hot weather. I’ve been away for Songkran, so I haven't been home much, which is why there are fewer pictures this time. The nutrient deficiency has improved, but the leaves are showing signs of wilting from the stress caused by the excessive heat. I can't take it anymore, time to set up a tent! There’s an investment every week right now.

A_Haze_THAI420 Weeks 6 Note New Item -Tent 100x100x200 -Set Ventilation inline tube fan 6 inch -Thermometer -Digital TDS Meter for Water -CO2 bag -PH meter The leaves look better. (Color) / Adjust PH water to 6.5 The items have arrived / More precise water adjustments After Songkran, many of the items I ordered have started to arrive, and finally, the kids will get to go into the tent. At least I’m confident about the light when the power is off. One of the first problems is that it’s too cramped. Setting up the tent was quite difficult alone, but I managed to get through it. Because it’s tight, I had to add a small exhaust fan to help with better air circulation. Every new piece of equipment helps improve the accuracy of watering and fertilizing, and makes it easier to analyze other symptoms. At this point, the kids' health looks much better after getting back to normal fertilization, but the problem that follows is the temperature is over 30+ every day.

A_Haze_THAI420 Weeks 7 Note - The temperature in the tent is too hot. - 1 Day of Auto Flower (Northern Light x Mini Blue) - Move the fan. - Humidity needs to decrease, must help with water spray. - LST is difficult because there is no space to hold. It's so hot/ Adjust the space a little We're entering May, and the weather is still too hot. The kids are still doing fine, but they're starting to grow slowly. It might be due to the stress from the heat, so it's necessary to adjust and move the space inside to be more open and improve airflow. Raise the fan higher to blow air to every plant and every area. The lower leaves are starting to yellow a bit, but I'll only try to remove the leaves that are really yellow. The humidity has also decreased, so I keep opening the tent to spray water to maintain the humidity level at around 55% or more if possible. In this heat, it's better to take the kids for a cannabis bath.

A_Haze_THAI420 Weeks 8 Note - The temperature in the tent is still hot like last week. - 1 week of Auto Flower (Northern Light x Mini Blue) - Humidity needs to decrease; must help with water spraying. - LST is difficult because there is no space to hold. - Broken branch from LST. - Plant showing wilt from insufficient watering. - DIY net for SCROG 100x100 cm. As it grows, the water needs to increase / trying to make a net. It's already week 8, and the symptoms are still hot as before. Watering is normal, every other day, but things happened anyway. On the morning of day 8, after getting ready to go to work, I stopped to unzip and take a look before the lights in the cabinet turned off as scheduled. Oh my God!! All four plants are wilting, wilting like wilting a lot (in picture 4). In my mind, I thought, this is really not easy. What the hell happened? I still don't know what happened, but I'll water them first. When I came back at noon to check, hey, they made it! They came back strong. My spirits lifted a bit. By the evening, when I returned from work, the plants were back to normal, as if nothing had happened. What a relief! So I realized it was time to increase watering according to the size of the little ones. The plants have started to fill the tent space, and doing LST is very difficult since there’s no place to secure the wires anymore. I accidentally bent them too much, and the top branch split into two. I held my head for a moment, thinking, what have I done again? Before I used a cable tie to hold it in place, to prevent it from splitting further. At this point, I’m too scared to bend the branches anymore. So I tried to buy some simple equipment nearby to make a net for SCROG next week; it should be better. The new auto plant is starting to grow and sprout leaves in order after I thought it wouldn’t survive because when it was in the tissue paper, the roots were very long, about 2-3 cm. I dug a hole to bury the roots in the peat moss almost to the bottom of the cup. Overall, everything is still going normally. It’s hot sometimes, and I placed a small water bucket in the tent to reduce evaporation and maintain humidity. I’ll try to water them a bit more; I think they should be fine.

At this point, moving and tucking the top under the net shows results, helping to create space for new tops to reach the light. The little tops are starting to grow, and they are the future buds. The stalks have a red hue almost all the way down, showcasing the unique characteristics of the specific strain. The leaves are green, thick, and have as many as 11 serrations. **** There’s still a little space left for new tops. Just need another 1-2 weeks, and I’ll switch the lights to induce flowering! *****

A_Haze_THAI420 Weeks 12 Note - Leaf showing symptoms of wilt. Stress from hot weather. - Plants growing steadily. - The stalk is clearly red. - Humidity needs to decrease; must help with water spray. - 5 weeks of Auto Flower (Northern Light x Mini Blue) move to the bigger pot. It's hot, and the leaves are showing really bad symptoms. Entering week 12, it's time to adjust the light to 12 hours a day. Everything is growing so fast! The leaves are showing symptoms, and some problems are becoming clear. The leaves are curling, and initially, I thought it was due to overwatering. But after stopping watering for just 1 day, the leaves wilted even more (in the last picture). So I think it's more due to stress from the heat; I need to get the air conditioning going. Next week, I'll adjust the lights and prepare to separate the genders of the plants.

A_Haze_THAI420 All three plants are done! I regret cutting the first one a bit early, but overall it's okay. The weight of all three plants before trimming and drying was 400+550+350=1300 grams. For more details, check out the Flowering album!

@A_Haze_THAI420, I once topped an auto branch when it was 30 days old. A week later, the wound hadn't even healed properly and it just started flowering. In the end, that one was a bust 5555. Loose bud, just full of air.

@THCaddict, from what I've read, topping when they're young is okay, but breaking branches doesn't usually work out. The life cycle is short, and they don't recover quickly. Next time, I'll soak the seeds. I'll try topping + LST to see how it goes.
