This is my first auto grow any tips and help would be great!
Growing in a 4 x 4 grow tent planning to veg under my 400 W T5 and flower under a 600 W kind LED. Temperature is always a problem, as I live in a state that is over 90° and over 75% humidity 8 months out of the year, I can only get my room down to 76 and the tents stay between 76 and 85 depending on the time of day and if the lights are on or off since the Ac has to work so hard I struggle with humidity being too low which is funny considering how humid it is outside. Growing up Foxfarm Ocean Forest with the bottom layer of Foxfarm Strawberry Fields don't use many nutrients mainly just liquid seaweed extract humic acid and great white microriza, with my regular "non-auto flower plants" I would typically give them one feeding just before flower and then at week five a flower I suppose I will try the same with the auto flowers
Seed day 0: put in paper towel with great white sprinkled on top of the seeds sealed in a Tupperware and put in a dark cabinet will check in 2 days
Day 1: after only 24 hrs all seeds had sprouts ready to plant, 3 gal buckets w Fox Farms Strawberry fields in bottom half and Ocean forest in top half, dresses w gnat nix and watered in w ro water w splash KLN and a pour of Seaweed extract, Great white in the hole
400w T5 30" away, 82deg 50% humidity
Day 7: of the 8 seeds 6 poped out sprouts, so down to 6 plants, those 6 are looking good, I mist them 4-5x a day and the soil (like 2 sprays from a hand mister) just to keep the humidity up for them
@Fun_Growin,have been there I planted 3 auto I had originally 25 plants in that room but i planted three auto three weeks after I had put the photoperiod they were stretching because they were being over crowded by the rest 2 died and 1 survived i took that one home with me she looks amazing but good job you got the space I didn't have the space t to have half on one side half on the other good luck
@@Tryhard,
Thanks I'm still "tuning" it but it has come along way from the start. i don't like having mixed sized plants in one tent, but it is what it is this round :)
HI - This is the weirdest plant I've grown so far. (ILGM, 4x4 tent, 600W light, AN Nutrients, 3G bucket)
I grew two ... one grew to 47" tall and the other to 14" tall.
I believe it is because I topped the second one at day 31 and that was an issue. Anyway - I can't tell when to go with this plant, it seems to be popcorn buds or very odd.
Can I ask what Fertilizer you are using (as a ball park) to see what the difference is? I am at day 65 right now and I was thinking of cutting. Then, I read your journal and I need to go much longer. I like really 5% amber, that's it ... mostly / all cloudy.
@Cherubino,
I don’t come on here much anymore.. I was using fox farms strawberry fields soil for these (I think) my nutes never exceed 700ppm on these grows..
I never had much sucess w autoflowers and since I had a 3 light set up it was my only auto flower grow...
I recommend checking out “the grow boss” on YouTube.. the mods on this webpage don’t like him... but I can assure you his system and way to think of the plant works... hope this helps...
You don’t need nearly as much light or nutes as you think!!
@AlaskanGrownCaliRaised,
Thanks for the follow and the grower love
Hopefully they will produce enough untill my photoperiod are done.. then it's smooth sailin
Looking good! I definitely can relate with the slow growth, I was looking at your earlier veg weeks and mine are currently growing slow as well. Could be the RH and temp fluctuations idk. But from the looks of it, they'll kick in the vertical growth later. I just gave the plants a Ca/Mg supplement and have seen faster growth. Maybe you could try the same? Autos are known to need that supp especially under LEDs. Keep up the good work!
@EdsterGrows,
I got a humidifier about 3 weeks ago, keeping my RH from 50-70% I have noticed an increase in growth..
Now that it's not so hot outside 90degrees plus and is only 70-80 my room is doing better
Next year I'll probabally be adding co2
HELL YEAH very nice harvest 👍Tomorrow I will post my Gorilla Harvest results. Looks like we will both be smoking very well this Holiday Season. Keep up the great work!
