Excited for these clones from Purple City. Vegging under 100 watt HLG. Credit for this variety goes to Mamiko Seeds. Pheno hunted by Skunk Master Flex. They rooted out their cups extremely quickly within 7 -10 days thick roots. I then transplanted them into super soil in 5 gallon fabric pots and topped them. Unfortunately I didn’t capture that part on camera. Next picture is 19 days later in their permanent home
They’re really started to take off. I turned up the light alittle and also raised it the tip top of the tent. They’re still drinking once every 3-5 days
Everything’s starting a pretty fast stretch. The 2 girls on the right front side are in stock soil because I didn’t plan on flowering her and I ran out of super soil mix oops. First time growing cookies. HLG -550. Had a little trouble with some thrips but think their all gone now after using Neem oil, Method 1 pps, as well as spinosad. Now that week 1 is done I’m done spraying so fingers crossed.
Starting off week 2 noticed the tops are starting to bunch up a little. Hoping the stretch continues through the end of Week 2 and 3.. I think it will work out.
Beginning of week 2: Summer heat becoming an issue, tent going well above 90. Switching light cycle to 11/13 trying to avoid heat
Canopy is 18 inches thick day 15/16. Got a wattage meter to measure my lights output. Turned down to 400 watts @ 32 inches after noticing light stress. Added a fresh topsoil layer. Also a rice hull top layer to keep the topsoil from drying out so fast. Shooting for 3-6 more inches this next week
Stretch is finally rounding out and it’s time to start stacking buds. They loved the little defoliation.. light is at 400 watts it’s too hot for full power and probably too much light anyway
Buds are still small but I expected as much hearing she can go 80 days. She seemed to keep stretching and re leafing through day 25+. Leaf plucking here and there to try and expose bud sights. Seems to be on cruise control: 35 total gallons of soil takes 4-5 gallons water every 72 hours.
Light is still dialed back to 450/530 possible watts. With the 70 watt red boosters it’s 520 total watts. She continued to stretch longer than I anticipated but it’s mostly done.
The stacking has finally really started. They continued to minorly stretch through day 30. I’ve never grown anything that starts off flower so slow but it’s making progress. The offensive GMO mothball old stench is starting to reveal itself as the trichomes mature. When I open the tent the smell punches you in the nose. Seeing a slight color fade which concerned me, possible slight overwatering. However it seems to be holding at the shade its at, keeping an eye on it. Day 43 turned my HLG550 from 450 to 530 watts. Total consumption w/ reds 600W.
Cruise control. They didn’t get any c02 from day 52-56. But it’s restocked now. Same water and microbes till finish. Maybe alittle molasses. They seemed to have bounced back from their over dry droop. Not a perfect grow but I remind myself its about learning
Finally got c02 back after 5 days without. Backing it down to 900-1000ppm. Looking forward to running these girls to 80+ days. I can tell the fan is stressing the girl in the corner closest to it a little. Looking to boost it up 4.20” tomorrow :).. (thats how much more distance one 5gal bucket stacked on another will give you).

Needs smell-o-vision... The odor is powerful. Still 100% white hairs, she’s still stacking. I should have kept my light turned down to 450. Believe they got burned at max power. Colas are still starting to fall over / get tied up. For me I’ve noticed this GMO matures at least 2 weeks slower than most of what I’ve grown before... The buds are starting to get really dense and heavy.
Just RO water today day 63. Fade is a week sooner than intended. If I kept my light turned down to 450W I maybe it would help. The healthiest girl in the corner grew nearly to target and is fading more on time, with the biggest buds.
I never took a PH measurement or measured any nutirents one time on these plants. I make sure I’m constantly inoculating diverse microbes and they grow the plants for me
Day 66: I’m turning my light down to 475 watts.
Alright last week! 1 or 2 waterings to go and I’m calling it. In the future I’d give this girl another top dress during week 7 as well as keeping the light to 450. She still did well with the super soils’ nutrition.
The terpenes are off the charts with these girls, I’m looking forward to processing it into GMO 5* fresh frozen bubble hash + and hash rosin
Last week for real now :)! I’ll give them one or two days more of light. Then 24-36 hours of darkness then I’ll take some more pictures. Getting a new camera should arrive in time for some good photos during the chop. Edit: Camera never came.. harvest goes on.. Tidal wave of buds ready to be washed!
These are very potent plants! The high is stoney and warm with a pleasant body and mind combo effect. Im getting warm ears at first from the 25 micron hash rosin. This cultivar is stronger for me than 19/20 I try on the market. Currently smoking on 25 micron hash rosin via my silicon carbide dish Dnail @620F. The 25 micron dries the fastest. The more I taste the flavor after the inital hit the high seems to build. I’ll be using this to vape during the day, and night time with hash capsules infused in my Ardent Nova. The bubble is now drying in pizza boxes lined with parchment for 5-7 days then I’ll take more pictures
GMO (Garlic mushroom onion) was slow to flower but came on strong weeks 8 and 9 to produce some dense heavy sticky buds. The dry weight of the plant material is unsure, but I’ll report the weight of various bubble microns when dry. Pictures of the dry bubble and maybe a melt shot impending! To dry, I decided to microplane into pizza boxes lined with parchment. It’s been fun growing along with everyone on grow diaries. Awesome
