LED Organic Soil - Chemdog by MSNL

Hey guys, second grow here; this time with the classic Chemdog, this one from MSNL. First grow used some Mango freebies from then, and I was quite satisfied with the genetics. Germed just the one seed, and it turned out to be quite healthy. Appears healthy enough to start a grow diary. :) Using self-irrigating pots, 5 gallon, with three clothesline wicks that lead from the bottom water bucket to about halfway up the inner soil bucket. There's also a net-pot fit into a cut hole in the bottom of the inner bucket.

As the lights turn on and the sun sets, day 14 for this Chemdog puppy begins. Topped her day 11, and also cleared the bottom two nodes of new growth. I really want to spread out some main colas on this one. No idea how many I'll go for, but that's part of the fun, no? Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about the heat for now. 😤 Picked up a bottle of CaliMagic from GH. Plan to start it as soon as her SIP bucket dries out. Could be a few days.

Sorry for the late and sparse update. Work has been crazy busy. Better posts to follow in a couple weeks. Btw, she stiiiiiiiinks so good.

Plane literally taking off, will update soon! Okay, on a layover. Picture for week 4 is from day 30. She is growing strong! Didn't get to top more than once though. Might have to get creative with the canopy in the coming weeks. Have next week off, and will be able to take more shots!

Switched her over to flower on day 30. Running out of space! Didn't get to do as much training as I had wanted, but she's growing STRONG. Have next week off, will try to post a TON of pics! I do need a new camera though..

9/30 - Beginning of flowering and week 6! Just started some flowering nutrients at a low strength. Super happy with how healthy they are using a new soil for the first time. The plan for when the lights turn on tonight is to make the LST ties a bit tighter, and defoliation!

Life comes at you fast, sorry for the laaaaate update. Upped the flora nutes, easing in as I don't want to stress her out more than I already have. As you can see, I snapped the main trunk right down the middle. :( This will be a good test for her.

Upped flora bloom again to 10ml/gal. She's recovering from the split trunk like a champ! And spitting out hairs like there's no tomorrow. Oh, she grew into the light while I was out of time. No burn like her sister though. Next update soon, I promise!

What can I say? She's really putting on quite the display. Didn't expect the sheer abundance of pistols, it's insane! Still not showing any amber trics yet. This could be one of those 100 day grows. Totally fine with me!

About to leave on a 13 day work/vacation trip. Decided to flood them with water, 1/4 gal in top, 1 gal in the bottom with tap water as I fed them already. Beyond excited to see her progress after I return! There won't be a week 11 update as I was out of town for all of it. 😱

Just returned from a 13 day work/vacation. The 1.25 gallons of water the morning I left was enough. The soil was still damp about an inch down too! Pictures were snapped on day 80, and there's still zero amber tricromes. Can you spot the bud rot? It's the white patch in the middle of one of the center-ish cola in the back. I cut it off and haven't noticed any more, so hopefully I got it. Forgot to have my fans running 24/7 since it's full blown flowering now. Lesson learned. Probably cut off an eighth or two.

Quick update, not a whole lot going on except the fattening. No new bud *rot for that I can see though, so hopefully that's over and done with! Sorry for the blurple only shots.

Looks like I only snapped one picture that week. Natural light though!

What can I say? This lovely lady has been quite the best from the beginning to end. There really nothing I can say besides she is outperforming any expectation I could have ever had. Time to wait till harvest. :)
