Hey guys, second grow here; this time with MSNL's THC Snow.
Should be quite a nice plant if it's anything like it's three parents, THC Bomb, White Russian and Big Bud.
First grow used some Mango freebies from them, and I was quite satisfied with the genetics.
Germed just the one seed, and it turned out to need quite a lot of help, but now appears healthy enough to start a grow diary. 😊
Using self-irrigating pots, 5 gallon, with three clothesline wicks that lead from the bottom water bucket to about halfway up the inner soil bucket.
There's also a net-pot fit into a cut hole in the bottom of the inner bucket.
As the lights turn on and the sun sets, day 14 for this THC Snow bird begins.
Topped her at the end of the day yesterday, also cleared the bottom two nodes of new growth.
I really want to spread out some main colas on this one.
No idea how many I'll go for, but that's part of the fun, no?
Despite the heat and low humidity, she's growing steady.
Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do about the heat for now. 😤
Petite, but perfect I'll call her.. something appropriate, but don't know what yet.
Picked up a bottle of CaliMagic from GH.
Plan to start it as soon as her SIP bucket dries out.
Could be a few days.
I'm so sorry for the terrible update. Life is crazy, and we all can't win. Believe me I'll have some great shots in a couple days.
Won't see her till five days from that last picture, but she was too compact to LST the way I wanted.
Fully expect to be overcrowded when I return.
Sorry for the lame update again. I'll work on putting up a better one in the next couple days here. She's looking GREAT though. :)
Week 4 picture is from day 30. No LST in the shot, but I tied her down a little this morning, day 32.
Switched her over to flower on day 30. Running out of space! Didn't get to do as much training as I had wanted, in fact only a single top and no LST so far, but she's growing STRONG.
Tied down the four main stalks on day 32, but won't see her again till day 36.
Have next week off, will try to post a TON of pics! I do need a new camera though..
9/30 - This is the beginning of flowering!
About four days in actually.
Super excited to see how she develops.
Doing it right this time and using some nutrients for flowering.
Will update with more pictures as we go! :)
Hey guys, sorry for the super late update, but life is super busy for me at the moment.
Upped the flora nutes a bit this week.
She's showing some deficiencies in some of the medium size leaves, but new growth is fine. Going to continue with the feedings I've been doing.
The next few update will be mostly just picture and not a lot of text.
She's kind of a weird grower at this point.
Wasn't home enough to properly care for her, but she's still growing strong!
Wish I had the time to properly train this one, but work takes priority.
Haven't trimmed off the leaves showing deficiencies or light burn quite yet.
Will do over the next couple weeks to try not to stress her out too much.
The new growth still looks good, going to keep feeding. Even upped the dose a bit again.
She's looking to produce, but is being put to shame by her sister.
Next update soon!
Nothing I can do about the apparent Mg deficiency, but she's still producing enough flowers for me to not be worried about it. I did up the dose to 9ml/gal from 5.
For whatever reason, the shot I took in natural light went ever finish resizing, oh well.
The light is at the absolute highest it can go..
About to leave on a 13 day work/vacation trip.
Decided to flood them with water, 1/4 gal in top, 1 gal in the bottom with tap water as I fed them already.
Beyond excited to see her progress after I return!
As usual, what I think is a Mg deficiency is still present, but I'm not stressing about it because she's growing fine.
There won't be a week 11 update as I was out of town for all of it. 😱
Just returned from a 13 day work/vacation.
The 1.25 gallons of water the morning I left was enough.
The soil was still damp about an inch down too!
Pictures were snapped on day 80, and there's still zero amber tricromes.
There was a spot of the early stages of bud rot on the other plant in the tent.
She's been through a lot, but still going!
Just a quick update before the glamour shots.
Doesn't look too different, just going through the fattening!
Still zero amber trics, but I'm not even mad, she's perfect in her own way.
Sorry for the blurple only shots.
Guess it's time to invest in a new microscope.
Week 15 and still can't really identify amber trics on the flowers.
Either way, she's amazing, and smells tart/spicy.
Can't complain. :D
@@Tryhard, Thanks man! Bought as I went with the first grow. Picked up a new fan speed controller that is silent, and planning on using nutes this time, but haven't picked any yet.
@biggreens420, Going for somewhere between 10-20% amber trics. There's currently none that I can see though. Maybe another two to three weeks. Either way, I'm just enjoying the process. :)
@biggreens420, yeah man! Was overwhelmed by work/personal stuff last weekend.. Didnt have time to LST properly. Might upload a pic I snapped when I got a chance to, but it looks uuuuugly, ha.
Looks like you are so close to being finished with her. She looks beautiful. I can't wait to see the harvest report buddy. Best wishes to her finishing up. Cheers :D
