I got the clones with light burn. I gave them no nutrients on the first week. Only root accelerator and tap water. I notice slow grow but they looked like they were healthy. I got an air conditioner and a humidifier to help cool down and increase humidity to proper levels. The plants went through a lot of stress with the heat on first week.

The temperature is better with ac, took me sometime to get humidity high. I think I gave it double the food it needed. And I think the hlg 100w v2 3000k was too far away, I set it on 18" for the 2nd week. I notice a lot of yellowing and light vibrant green everywhere and the tip o leaves crawling downwards. And I think they are asking for help. Please help

What should I do to stop the yellowing and the crawling of the plants. They are on 5gl autopods. I'm using fabric pods with pebbles, coco and perlite 75/30. They were fed on the first week with 65ppm being 60ppm from the tap water and 220ppm on 2nd week being 160ppm from nutrient

Hey there Gab ! Yeah it's a problem indeed ! What's happening is that you've got a soiless set up but you're not running enough feed. Soiless means "inert" means there's nothing in it, means that you have to give it 100% of the food the plant needs. Usually in coco you want both parts of the coco formula ergo part A and part B, and yes it's annoying that you have to buy two things but you do basically... nothing to it. You plants will still lack micronutrients so you do need to add specialised micro nutrients like calmag. Finally since the medium is inert, that means there's basically "no bacteria" to break down the nutrients, so you'll need an appropriate chelation agent such as amino acids, humic and fluvic acids, enzymes or simply hydrochloric acid. So when the medium is soiless like what you're doing you need the three categories of feed every day : the NPK nutrients of the 2 part formulas, the micronutrients eg calmag and the chelation agent. Right now you're showing deficiencies even with Nitrogen, that's because the lack of nutrients and chelation agent has caused root problems, you can tell from the downward clawing of the leafs. If you add a chelation agent to your feed it will break down the problem roots and the plant should recover within two weeks max. Hope this helps my friend ! 🚀

I had a long week and a lot happened in the garden. The plants were growing too slow and their leaves were closing like they were trying to protect themselves, some of the leaves ends were dropping downwards, purple stems and I also had tecnical problems; the GoGro ( auto feeding equipment ) valve didn't work and I ended up with a flood twice, which brought a few freaking little flies, and the lights were disconnected for 7 hours on sunday morning by accident. To solve this issues I had help from the folks here and some research online, I raised my lights up because it was cooking the plants, i adjusted the ppm giving more food to stop the leaves tip dropping, got Calmeg for the purple stems, pest control spray, I fixed the valve a gave a pretty good cleaning with Clorox in the tent. There were good things too. I did fimming technic to make the plants shorter and to get a more even canopy to get more ligh to them and more flowers. The girls are doing great, they are 4 feet taller now. I learned more about how they work and how to take care of them thanks to some free online books and lots of youtube. It has been hard work with lots of hours of dedication. I'm loving it. Thanks people from here. Thanks GrowBoss.

Another week with a lot of studing in order to understand what's going on, to then take the proper action. It hasn't been easy, most of the time I have no clue of what the plants are doing. I tried some fimming last week to help even the canopy but it didn't seem to work. Two of them are smaller than the others, I took the smaller one out of the center of the light to give the chance to the others to get more light since it wasn't growing at all due light burn, and one of them was too far from the light, so now is very stretchy. They have been growing fast, any suggestions on how to train them? I think is time to get a new light. I'm thinking about getting a HPS 600 watts, what do you think?

It was a busy week full of events. I got them a 600 watts HPS light and microbes to help them grow faster. I finally started the trellis netting to even the canopy and get more from the lights and I also spray the plants again for bugs. I found out that I've been using powder nutrients on my reservoir and that's probably why I've been getting floods two or tree times a week and now the valve is open only when I'm there, because I'm sick of cleaning and I took that little sick plant out. My cats have her now.

Another busy week with the vege. I gave it microbes, a HID lamp at 400 watts, sprayed for bugs and also covered the media with plastic wrap to get rid of 3 or 4 gnarts and of course a had another flood with the GoGro water system and I took one plant out of the garden because she is frozen in time. I still don't know why. The trellis is doing good. Lots of work.

I wish it was easier to upload media here. That's why is taking me so long. Stretching everywhere, she went from 3 feet to 6 feet in a heartbeat. She is running into the light. I raised the ppm because I'm going to turn 600 watts on. They look healthy, but too much legs.

Well. This is the second time that I upload these same pictures, it takes a long time to do because they have to be done individually, after all that work that I did the site went down and I lost it all. Anyway, week 12 was a little stressing, I burned the plants with too much nutrients, that have been incresead slowly to match the light wattage which is on 600 watts now, but apparently the plant didn't want it. I also added pk boost. I have so many questions. I would love to someone to comment on the trees because I've no idea of what I'm doing here. Is it possible to overwater in hydroponic? If you give the plant 500 ppm and next day the meter shows 530 ppm in the reservoir, it means that the solution is too concentrated and need more water to dissolve, right? If it shows 470 for example it means that she is eating more than drinking water, on this case she wants more nutrients, right? And if you check and it shows exactly 500, with no change on the ppm means that she is happy and you have the right ppm. Am I right here folks? Please help.

Hey bro so it's simply light stress, it happened after you lowered the lights like you stated.... notice how the highest parts of the plants are yellow, that's the light driving the plant too hard... if 9t were a nutrient def. Your yellowing would start at the bottom for N def.

@Tripaholic88, The lights are back at 20" now. Thank you. You were so right. The problem was too much light. They look happy now. Thanks a lot.

Hey there Gab, I hope I answered your question. You need to feed these ladies micro and additives as well as upping the NPK because you're in a soiless medium. Anything else you need just let me know ! ✊

Feeding them more food will only make more problems... just back off the light and they will be fine in 2 days
