Definitely got some length on them this week with one in particular that exploded with growth. These are only on day ten but I won’t be home on day 14 so I did it now. They all appear to be loving life so far. but this is my first grow and not really sure if everything up to par. There may be a deficiency in one of the ladies, I'm not completely sure.
Day 13- One of the four ladies appears to be stunted and isn’t growing with the others. I’m gonna let her ride into next week and see where she goes. If I can’t get her growing I’m chucking her.
Day 14- two of the ladies have lime green spots and curling tips. Fed regular ph balanced water with 3ml of CalMag to try and see if I can fix any of this mess. My fourth ladie appears to be mutated rather than deficient.
Kicking off week three and it appears the ph balanced water and CalMag is correcting whatever was going on with the spots on my ladies. Will be feeding regular nutes and water on my next feed. This mutant one is about to get tossed.
Day 16- The spots are going away after feeding just CalMag and ph balanced water. Mutant is starting to come along but still looking freaky. Lowered the light down to 17in cause I noticed leaves were smaller on the dark side of girls. Spun all the ladies to get light on the smaller leaves.
Day 17- The mutant appears to want to keep rockin so I’m gonna let her ride with the rest. Ph spots have almost disappeared after correcting my run off and all four have bounced up on me looking beautiful now. They were looking healthy and strong so I went ahead started lst later in the day.
Day 18-Continuing very light LST. Gentle bends and nothing more advance than that. Got new bud sites popping up on all four even the mutant. Later- one is slow growing and not taking well to the lst and neither is the mutant. Took the tie off and both appear to be slowly bouncing back by the hour. Probably won’t get much if any from either of those two. Germinated the last 3 white Widow beans yesterday so hopefully we can get something out of those.
Day 19- Two of the ladies are doing just fine. One is growing super slow so I assume I may have stunted it somehow. My mutant doesn’t want to be trained but leaving it alone has perked it back up and the small amount of lst it got did pop some new spots so I’m just gonna leave her alone and just let her do her thing.
Day 20- The two big ladies have responded well to lst new sites all over the place. Slowhead and the mutant have both allowed me to start bending them a bit without wanting to die on me. Fed ph balanced water today and retrained in the morning. Just gonna leave them alone come back in the AM.
Day 21- Welp, grow diaries has turned into a massive waste of time. Received more help from Instagram in two day’s than the two weeks I’ve wasted here. Awesome community!
Day 22- Goin in to week 4 continuing LST. New growth sites all over. Instead of putting the fan above the plants I focused the fan on the plants and all perked up within a half hour so definitely will keeping the fan on them instead. Slowhead still isn’t responding to even bending very well so I think I’m just gonna leave it be and see what she does for me.
Day 23- So I took all training ties off last night. Woke up to all four perked up and reaching for the light. I feel like I may have stunted them by starting lst too early, had the light to close to the canopy, took to long to correct my run off, didn’t have enough fan air on the ladies or whatever I’m not sure anymore so I’m just gonna let them go off on their own and hopefully I can train a bit more come flower. 2 of these ladies (slowhead and mutant) are frowning incredibly slow and I’m sure won’t produce much if any at all.
Day 24- All ladies were fed their normal nutes. Still waiting to do some more training cause I’ve grown skiddish of 24 hour training and none of them bouncing back. Got about 4 more day’s in the dungeon then it’s on to the big tent.
Day 25- The ladies moved to the new tent. Cold ass air conditioning may have shocked them for a bit but they’re peeking back up on me.
Day 26- Flushed one of my ladies who was showing obvious signs of nitrogen toxicity. She’s slowly peeking back up for me.
Day 27- Restarted lst. Cracked a branch but I left it since it wasn’t completely snapped. No idea if it’ll fix itself or not but I’m going to let it go and see. Only the mutant has popped pistils the others are still vegging out I suppose. Added a 1200w to the tent to give it some more juice in there.
Day 28- Watered with plain ph water after taking off the ties from lst.
Day 29- So as a new grower...I imagine we’re still in veg because of the multiple stress inducing rookie moments. Only the mutant has popped pistils. The flushed lady appears to still be fighting for me but idk with my skill level if I can keep her alive. Time will tell on that one. The rest are doing fine and have only been fed ph water for their last two feedings cause I’m still fighting nitrogen toxicity and this damn heat and humidity. (Midwest humidity). Well it would now appear that three of the four ladies in the tent have now popped pistils.
Day 30- pistils have popped on 3 of the 4. My fourth is still trying to recover from being flushed for nitrogen toxicity. I usually wait until after I water to take photos but it’s just been one of those mondays. I know folks don’t like the led light pictures but my light down here is god awful and makes my pictures extremely dark.
Day 31-So the temps and humidity went way up this morning after the central air turned off sometime in the night and the ladies are feeling it. Super droopy today. But the air is back on and the humidity is on its way down.
Day 32- Gave the ladies some plain ph last night because they were looking so miserable. Woke up this morning to them perked up a little bit more. Still just tucking leaves and will only be giving them water for the remainder of the week because any amount of nutes brings these ladies down.
Day 33- So I went ahead and started watering daily and it seems I should’ve been doing this. Did very light defoliating last night and semi heavy defoliation on my flushed lady this morning. They appear to have taken it well cause they’re all perky including little miss flushed. Time will tell on the heavy defoliating on the flushed lady but she was looking miserable as shit and I thought fuck it let’s see what she does. She’s the only one that hasn’t popped pistils so I hope this kinda pushes her towards that.
Day 34- continuing to tuck leaves. Fed 2 tbsp of big bloom to keep it light. Nothing with nitrogen was given because some still show signs of toxicity.
Day 35- All the ladies are getting their little stretch on now. Starting to get a bunch of white hairs on the bud sites. Fed plain ph water.
Day 36- The nitrogen toxicity is finally starting to fade after having only been fed ph water for almost two week’s now with just a hint of big bloom. I’m gonna stick to small doses of nutes and in between just plain ph water. The lady I flushed is looking like shit but somehow still growing. She gets watered and all the water comes rushing out of the bottom but within 16-17 hours it’s completely absorbed back into the pot. She still hasn’t flowered yet and still shows signs of extreme nitrogen toxicity so I’ll just keep giving her plain water and see if anything comes from it. The other three ladies all have multiple bud sites with white hairs everywhere so they’re coming along normally. The mutant has been in bloom for a week longer than the other two and you can really tell the difference in bud size. Returning the 1200w for another 1000w sunraise because that bad boy is just booming.
Day 37- Fed the ladies a small amount of two different nutes a few hours ago and they all seem to be handling it pretty well, no droopy shit. The flushed lady still hasn’t flowered but seems to be responding well to being under the sunraise rather than the 1200w. The mutant has the most hairs and bud sites but it’s been in flower for a week longer than the rest but hasn’t really stretched much.
Day 39- I’m tossing my flushed lady tonight cause she’s weeks behind the rest and still hasn’t flowered. So I’ll be down to just three widows. Still feeding light big bloom and even lighter tiger bloom. Getting more ph water day’s in this week as well.
Day 40- Finally got the miserable looking lady in the trash. Now I have 3 widows all with bud all over them especially the mutant since it’s been in flower for an entire week longer than the other two. Fed with ph water only and will continue that for the next few day’s.
Day 41- Watered with plain ph water. Still continuing to tuck leaves as much as possible without disturbing all these bud sites. The mutants buds are getting so big that I think I’m going to have to give the branches some support cause they don’t seem strong enough to hold all of the bud. My tall ladies are still stretching with one now at 21.5 inches and the other at 19 inches.
Day 42- Watered again with plain 6.18 ph water. Still continuing to tuck as many leaves as possible and spinning these like a dj every morning to make sure all colas are getting enough light. Beginning to get a little frosty now
Day 44- Went ahead and pulled the ladies out for a quick snap to help out our senior community whose eyes are too old for the blurple shots. I’ll bring them back out when there’s actually something worth seeing. Kind of got my days mixed up cause I’ve missed a day or two on here but oh well we’ll start here and continue. Fed two with big bloom and tiger bloom. The third was given big bloom and CalMag for whatever deficiency is going on in the leaves.
Day 45- The deficiency in the leaves appears to be going away so that’s cool. None of the ladies went drooping or miserable like all stayed perked up. Watered with plain ph water this morning. Been giving them a bit more water each time cause none ever makes it to the bottom anymore.
Day 46- Continuing to tuck leaves as much as possible. Two of the ladies have more white hair than green. Fed with a low dose of big bloom and ph water. Nothing special here just waiting for the buds to get thick.
Day 47- Fed all three with big bloom and tiger bloom. Two of the ladies are pretty frosty and the other is about to catch up.
Day 48- Watered with ph water. The lady I fed CalMag still hasn’t started forming trichomes like the other two and it also has leaves that are in really bad shape but they’re only at the top with a couple towards the bottom. Pulled my deficient gal out and gave her a nice foliar feeding with 1 tsp of CalMag and stuck her in the dark bathroom. See what comes out it.
Day 49- Fed with 1 tbsp of tiger bloom. The mutant and the lady I lightly defoliated have frost everywhere while my largest lady is still holding off.
Day 50- The lady that got a foliar feed is beginning to form small amounts of trichomes on each cola and will most likely be awhile before she catches up to the other two. Will be looking to give another foliar feeding on Tuesday. The other two ladies appear to be doing just fine for now. Watered with plain ph water and top dressed each with a small amount of new soil.
Day 51-Fed my lady with the cal deficiency CalMag and water. Gave my other two frosty ladies just plain ph water. They appear to be getting thicker buds as well. The other is slowly gaining trichomes now and will get another CalMag foliar spray on Tuesday.
Day 52- Fed the ladies tiger bloom and big bloom and also threw in 3 ml of CalMag. Think I’m gonna add CalMag into my feeding but keep it light and only once a week until I start the flush.
Day 53- Gave my hurt lady another CalMag foliar feed and lights off for six hour’s. Watered all three with plain ph water. Not really doing anything special at just making sure I keep an eye on everything now after I missed the cal deficiency in my hurt lady.
Day 54- Fed the gals some tiger bloom and water. My hurt lady is gathering more trichomes by the day so that makes me happy.
Day 55-Fed with big bloom.
Day 56- Fed with tiger bloom.
Day 57- Fed with big bloom. Two of ladies look as if they’ll have dense nugs while the damaged lady will have more airy nugs.
Day 58- Fed 3ml of CalMag and water.
Day 59- Fed tiger bloom and big bloom.
Day 60- Plain ph water.
Day 62- Fed Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom.
Day 63- Fed CalMag.
Day 64- Plain ph water.
Day 65- CalMag water.
Day 66- Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom.
Day 67- Begin flush. Nothing but cool water from here.
Day 68- Day 2 of flush.
Day 69- Day 3 of flush. Colors starting to fade in the leaves aside from the spots.
Day 70- Day 4 of flush.
Day 73- Day 7 of flush.
Day 81- I was going to chop the two that were ready a week early but decided to let them ride with the one in the back right till the end of week 12. The damaged lady is still beefing up and the other two I doubt are getting any bigger so this weekend they will get the chop.
Day 82- More water.
Lmao so apparently you move up in skill level on this site by how many likes your comments receive. When did likes become a unit of measurement for skill level??
Got about 7.5 oz of pretty dense buds and almost 2 oz of lower buds that are more airy and stringy. Tested some after two week’s of curing and this is incredibly strong and I love that I have so much of it it’s like fuckin Christmas lol. Has a really strong lemon/citrus like smell and it’s getting stronger and stronger. Will definitely purchase again for the cache.
Only 2 weeks cured and still need to trim the buds a bit more but I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of these ladies. I appreciate all that love that was given definitely all the tips and tricks I’ve learned from other growers here.
Whats up with the leaf colors? Getting ready to chop? I hit up CKS live support yesterday and was told to give my plant to week 12-13 before flushing :p.
EDIT; Sorry didn't read your desc. Why you flushing already? How do the trichs look? :o
@Eighty8Special, Yeah you are right idk what im saying, i thought nute burn is when u overfeed in ur watering ;p. but, fall is rolling now and it has been nice and cool all week. Im uploading a shit ton of pics of everything soon.
@visco, nute burn is actual burn on the leaves from watering with nutes and the light becoming a magnifying glass...I don’t see that...a dehumidifier will only bring down the humidity, if you don’t get heat under control as well...they’ll just constantly be heat stressed with flared edges...your tents in a shed that most likely has poor air circulation meaning your tent filter just cycling the same old hot air...I’ve seen multiple people with 3x3’s with four plants with good air circulation do just fine...your first run had flared edges cause heat and humidity and I imagine your light is still to close...your second has flared edges because of heat and humidity...I’m no master grower but I learn extremely fast and you don’t get flared edges from nute burn...I’d go ahead google that one bud
Nice job dude! We have the same plant at about the same age, I'm currently on day 17 today ;p. Your plant seems to be doing better than mine haha, What soil did you use ? :o
@Eighty8Special, I have defoliated a total of 4 leaves. I'm not exactly sure what I am doing yet so I stopped, and decided to just use LST. I think defoliation will be better once the plants start flowering, then remove the lower leaves. I'm not totally sure tho :p
Ayyy! Very nice man very nice! The setup looks awesome! I just got my girl in her new home as well, it got dark though and I don't have any lights in my grow room. So I did what I could, I need to optimize it tomorrow.
@visco, lol I’m not even going to lie...it produced way more than I anticipated and it is insanely strong...can’t wait to try the 4 week cured product!
Very nice grow. I use crop king seeds cause I germinated about 20 seeds since I’ve been growing and all have been good from start to finish. Good quality buds from all. I’m growing autos for the first time and hope they do as well as yours. Hitting week five tomorrow and already getting excited how fast they are growing.
@Growingisfun, yeah I’m definitely going to keep CKS seeds in my stash for sure. Aside from one of the ladies catching a crazy deficiency, I’d say this was pretty decent for my first run ever!
@visco, lol yeah I think started this week a day early...but thank you yeah the two are doing really well and one of them is almost 2ft tall. The mutant has all the bud but isn’t stretching very much at all and the flushed one just seems stagnant at best.
Looking good Bud! One thing I noticed from your pictures is the ph/moisture meter left in the soil.
On my first grow I bought one for each plant, my theory was that this way I didn’t have to keep stabbing at my roots. However I quickly noticed that the meters didn’t change after the first 15 ish minutes. When using a second tester to double check if it was reading accurately it was proven to me that first meter wasn’t even close to being right.
Since then I’ve just been testing the run off water for ph and ppm. going with touch/feel/weight of planter for moisture in soil but I have fibre pot which allow me to feel the lower soil from the sides.
@DD_420, oh I will definitely be removing that. Ive just been using it to measure the wetness of the soil, but if its not going to be doing any good for then ill go ahead remove that. Thanks bro
I should’ve paid more attention. These ladies are 8 week’s from flower and not 8 week’s from germination. Idk if I’d call them auto flowers...more like fancy photoperiods.
