Gemination is 100%.very good. 2 seeds I trying to pop and two plants are growing out of .and seem to be growing vigorously. Germination date July 9.
On day 5 I decided to lower the light to 24 in and see how the plants react to the stronger light and more heat.
Day6 the plan seems to be loving the more intense light and not bothering too much about the extra heat I also use promix pH has soil medium.
I will continue to update thank you for reading and have a great grow.
The plants seems to be growing very well very strong and fast . Something interesting the 2 plants Leafs are growing slightly different one looks more sativa like in the others more Indica like all my seeds I bought them straight from the source to ensure quality so it has to be something that is common to the strain hopefully means nice tasty buds.
Day 13 the new Leaf that are growing in the plants are now identical they're growing very fast and healthy .
I will continue to update thank you for reading and have a happy grow
Day 17 today and I started the low stress training on all the plants they seem to be growing pretty well very strong and despite the Heat Wave we have in the city they have been doing pretty good.
Day 18 the plants are responding very well to the training showing zero signs of stress in fact they're growing with such a speed that makes me wonder how tall it will get because I have seen all the grow diary reviews they're not very tall and they don't give big yield despite that it's growing very fast and very strong there are growing with such speed and strength. After readjusting the low stress training ties from now on it will be very busy tying down the Plant and readjusting probably everyday and depending of velocity of growth the main stem is going to go around the planter in a spiral shape creating and even canopy easy to control in height because of the indoor lighting.
Day 19 the plant seem to grow very vigorously training will continue day after day but I will not post all the pictures because it's adjusting everyday a little bit but at a Time. I post enough pictures to see how I started and then I just continued like that.
Day 20 I found some white fuzzy mold on top of the growing medium tying decided to spray it with hydrogen peroxide 3% 2 parts water 1 part chemical the plan seemed to be reacting very well to it but some went in to the leafs and dry it out and they seem to have reacted not so good about it.
I will continue to update . thank you very much for reading and have a happy grow
Day 22 I decided to sprinkle some cinnamon to the soil in order to get rid of any unwanted mold and I will let my soil dry out to a point where it will not be kind to the roots but I just want to make sure I get rid of all that stuff before I start flowering.
Day 23 no signs of that white stuff and during training I snap one of the main stem I tape it up and hopefully it heals up with no problem
Day 24 I change the light to red light to promote better flowering
I will continue to update have a happy grow.
The plans have been a little sad because of the cinnamon sprinkle I do not think I will do this again the reason for it is because the the cinnamon seems to lock humidity into the soil medium creating over-watering issue but is very efficient getting rid of the white stuff. So I decided to flush them out I'm trying to get rid of much of the cinnamon as possible .
I will continue to update thank you for reading and have a Happy grow
I was having some difficulties with a Cal Mag deficiency because after flush the soil took long time to dry out creating me tons of problems but now that regular feeding schedule is back on the plants and they are bouncing back pretty good everything seems to be going back to normal.
One of the plans measures 20 inches the other one is at 16. inches tall.
Thank you for reading and I will continue to update have a happy grow
The candycane seems to be not growing too much is just seems to be packing on some weight on those buds so I don't think they're going to grow much more the heights are like this:
21.5 inch
15.5 inch.
I also seem to have a problem with nitrogen deficiency possibly .
They have a very light scent of a fruity sweets candy if I can describe it somehow. I will post more pictures without the grow light on so is better view of how the plant are doing .
Day 45 today I feed my plants solution a little bit heavy on the nitrogen in order to try to flush out any build-up salt that could be causing a lockout or simply just i haven't water enough because I don't I like poured too much water on to them to avoid actually run out.thank you for reading I have a happy grow.
They responded very well to the flush with nutrient and higher nitrogen the heights are like this.
22 inch.
16 inch.
They don't seem to grow anymore but their stacking on weight in those buds.
Also they seem to be suffering from heat stress. heat-related because the lights is at a good distance to be having trouble with them but I'm guessing it's because I'm running low humidity probably dry air coming in causing them to stress out I increase the fan ventilation within the tent to try to improve this.
Day 51 today I water my plants and feed them and decided to Super crop some branches in the small plant to see how they react to this technique in late flowering just looking for ways to increase final yield.
Thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow
The plants seem to have stopped growing in height and they're only packing wait on the buds I did some Leaf trimming to make air flow nice and to maximize light penetration they have a very nice aroma like a sweet kiwi . Trichomes seem to be 90% to 85% White and the other glassy I think by the 12-week this should be close to 30% ambar in colour that is where I usually prefer it to be in the Hammer ish side.
I will continue to update thank you for reading and have a happy grow.
The plants seem to do very well they have been suffering from a little bit of Heat stress and too much light intensity the light was at 15 in to see if I could get out bigger buds but was way too close and the plants became way too stress and uncomfortable with it. They prefer temperature between 29 and 30 degrees Celsius as well as a humidity minimum of 30 to 50
The plants seem to be doing very well I will continue putting only pure water into it until Harvest Time arrive probably two more weeks where the plant will develop deficiencies but is already Harvest Time so I'm not concerned about that I just want to have a nice clean smoke. thank you for reading and I will continue to update have a happy grow
plans have been ready since a few weeks ago but because I have other plants also in my tent I wanted to harvest them all at the same time I have given 36 hours to eat up on nutrients after the flush and now is Harvest Time thank you for reading and have a happy grow
They smell very nice like a kiwi skunk smell to it . The high are strong and last about hour and a half to two hours. For a regular smoker I will classified as day stuff on the Stoney side. With a high THC probably what is advertised on their website . This is very good for somebody who wants to have a quick grow of very good stuff or somebody who lacks space but doesn't want to sacrifice quality. The fact that I couldn't get a large yield out of it was a bomber for me I really like plants that are capable of producing a large yield.
Taste 10 out of 10
Aroma 10 out of 10
High 8 out of 10 . day. strong THC.
Yield 6 out of 10.
Easy to grow strain.
Possible to crop in 65 days from seed at 20h lights on.32 Centigrades and 45%humidity.
This plant has been very enjoyable to grow and the smell of it is incredibly Pleasant I will update when the plants are drying and ready for curing it will take approximately between 7 and 14 days because I wait until the main stem snaps with a crunchy sound.
Day 5 of drying and they are still far away from ready but they're starting to show a nice Colours now . the smell it's becoming very powerful even without curing I know many Growers cut them down when the smaller branch are snapping off easy but I wait until the main stem I bend and a crunch very dry sound come out of it because I don't like to deal with mold and I have a very busy life can be opening curing jars every
few hours everyday that's why a good Boveda packs and a good drying are my best friends.
These are the weights for the two plants that one that was bigger #1 is 51.12 grams the second plant #2 was 36.17 grams . They smell very nice like a kiwi skunk smell to it . The high are strong and last about hour and a half to two hours. For a regular smoker I will classified as day stuff on the Stoney side. With a high THC probably what is advertised on their website . @Canadian,
Sounds good to me.
I like to see how others grow the same strains, and also to compare their experiences to mine to see how to achieve a better plant/harvest.
@CanuckVetGrwr, thank you for your comment and let's see how our local breeders are performing with there auto in my garden .I noticed you are also as well growing some Autos from the same breeder I will keep an eye on your grow diaries
So how tf u only get 80 something grams off these 2? Must have been really short I'm guessing? Cuz I been getting over a qp off 2 off these. A couple times now.and my buds dont look anything near the size of yours.. looking good though.. and a hell of a smoke to keep in your cabinet.. be warned though. You will eat until u think your stomache is splitting.. and you will still be hungry lol.
@Jerrylarrydalton, thank you for your comment and I was a little disappointing as well with the weight the plant were short but it could be that I dry them to a point where the main stem snaps because I don't want to deal with mold inside my curing jars but you are correct it is a very nice and sweet smoked to have in your closet.
Also one of the plants did not grow much because during early on in training I snapped the main stem causing it not to grow anymore even though I tape it back on you can probably notice some green tape in the picture but it continued to rip and get those buds really fat and sticky.
Also is my first time using Pro mix HP and I didn't take into consideration that they were going to need more feeding during early on vegging because the other soils that use came already with some fertilizers in them this one came with nothing and I wanted to see if it was going to be a big difference between one and the others and they are. the plants love to have a head start with a good soil.
Have a happy grow
@Ferenc, thank you for your comment and even though the plants are not big they do pack some big fat buds an incredible sweet kiwi Aroma to it and a hint of skunk they are very easy to grow and very fast to mature was very enjoyable plant to grow . can't wait to cure and have a test smoke.
@Wicked_Stix, thank you for your comment and despite the plans being small they do pack lots of beautiful buds at a very fast rate I put two plants in a 10gallon smart pot but definitely was an Overkill 5 gallon will have been enough . Probably with two or 3 galon pot .you probably could flood the tent with small pots have a crop on 65 days but none of them will be tall neither require lots of root space. At the very end we will see how much weight give us each plant and we can have an average yield out of them within the space of three by three or four by four feet tent.
@visco, thank you for your comment . I add that the plants smells very nice almost like a candy kiwi if it's possible to describe it. They are very easy to grow and they finish pretty quick trichomes are all white and I'm just waiting for lots of Amber to show up unfortunately those plans seem not to grow much but they can finish very fast and give very dense buds nice looking and nice smelling buds.
Good to see another Canadian grower. Love the LST, I'm about to start germinating some of the same seeds within the next week. Hope they end up half as decent as your are turning out to be.
@Hozzer420, thank you for your comment and plants are pretty easy to deal with. It's grow very fast and strong and they require constant cal-mag to prevent deficiencies but even though is early-stage they have developed a really nice scent and good luck with your grow.
