Seedling Light: 600w LED (until 315 frees up)
Veg light: 315 CMH
Soil: Kryptonite Super Soil (already used once, added some amendments)
Just add Water...
I'm very excited to get started on this girl! With the % of thc and cbd, I hope I can give her what she deserves.π
Starting out under 600 w LED until my cindy is done... 2 weeks or less I hope... want this girl under the CMH 315w.
I am really blown away how quickly she took off.
I gave her shell a good scuffing with sandpaper before I soaked he in water for 18 hrs. At that time, she already had her beautiful root coming out. Placed her in what I would like to call a "origami pocket"...π coffee filter folded a bunch of ways... With in 12 hrs her root was at least 3/4 inch.
This time, I'm trying a different start off technique... cut the bottom out of the solo cup, slice it up the side until the top and stop. Put the bottomless cup in forever home.... now I'm hoping this will help me from over-watering... which I did on my first grow. Hopefully should be little to no shock when solo cup is removed.π³
As you can tell, everything is working so far. After 1 week in seedling stage... which I think I'm out of, I'm going to call this Day 1 of Veg....
Happy Growing! ππ΅
@Punchman,
The split was accidental and I think it happened way too early... haven't had a test puff yet to determine potency... I did grow Cinderella 99 and the last 3 days before harvest, I split her stock and she really pushed out the resin/trichs and her potency is strong... but I didn't have another Cindy growing to compare it to.
Thanks for the elaborate set of photos showing how you prune your girls. I've been longing to figure out a bit more about selective pruning and your diary and the photos provide just the food for thought I've needed. Well done.
Manifolding... wtf?... where did you learn that stuff dude? I'm still in the "just figured out how much more I can grow outdoors" phase.... which I will grow out of (cough)... maybe. I'm graduating into the "grew so much weed in the summer phase we can tinker in the winter too". and learn. hehe
I'm growing one of these same babies at the moment - all outdoors now and she's a handful. But one thing I've noticed from the beginning is she's quite slender - compared to her other weed compatriots growing nearby. Blows about like hell in the wind but the only problem of sorts I've had with her is a preponderance of yellowing leaves... again maybe compared to her fellow girls on the patio... but it probably means little this late in the game. The wingspan on my girl is so large that as she adds extra weight she tends to roll over on herself so she was the first that obviously needed structural help. I'm not sure my other girls will need anything at all.
@dalemac, When I started my first grow back in the spring, I wanted to try something advanced just because my buddies thought I was nuts π... (they are all about yeild) I just didn't want to grow, I wanted to learn cool ass shit! π
I came across a couple of older diaries on the net... one name is Nugbuckets that I do believe could have named it manifolding... and the other is Nebula Haze... which I believe is the same training just done their own way.
Followed both of their tuts... with a couple of small changes... and so far it has been amazing... π
Check out my Cinderella 99, that was my very first.... now I'm on to these ones.... once again... adding my own touch (crossing of the arms). πͺ
Has to be about the fun and not just the yield...
Happy growing my friend! π
@Ladysgrow2, I always like to top when I see the 5th or 6th node... sometimes even the 4th node is fine as long as the girls are healthy with no issues...
I usually top them at the 3rd node... and clean up the bottom nodes as well... I find it's a good start for mainlining.π
