What a week! CC is ready to go...
I made a mistake one night (Beers & Bowls) by adding too much pH down... then got distracted and forgot to check... watered CC and the next day I could see discolor on the out edge of the leaves... immediately measured the pH, and yep.... 4.8π³
Gave her properly adjusted water and after a couple of days the new growth is looking good.
The soil I'm using even says I don't have to pH the water as long as the water is neutral 7pH...which mine is.
With that said, I still bring my water down to 6.2-6.5.... but after that silly stunt, I might not anymore...hahaπ
If she keeps growing like this, maybe next week will be the start of manifolding attempt....π΅
@Punchman,
The split was accidental and I think it happened way too early... haven't had a test puff yet to determine potency... I did grow Cinderella 99 and the last 3 days before harvest, I split her stock and she really pushed out the resin/trichs and her potency is strong... but I didn't have another Cindy growing to compare it to.
Thanks for the elaborate set of photos showing how you prune your girls. I've been longing to figure out a bit more about selective pruning and your diary and the photos provide just the food for thought I've needed. Well done.
Manifolding... wtf?... where did you learn that stuff dude? I'm still in the "just figured out how much more I can grow outdoors" phase.... which I will grow out of (cough)... maybe. I'm graduating into the "grew so much weed in the summer phase we can tinker in the winter too". and learn. hehe
I'm growing one of these same babies at the moment - all outdoors now and she's a handful. But one thing I've noticed from the beginning is she's quite slender - compared to her other weed compatriots growing nearby. Blows about like hell in the wind but the only problem of sorts I've had with her is a preponderance of yellowing leaves... again maybe compared to her fellow girls on the patio... but it probably means little this late in the game. The wingspan on my girl is so large that as she adds extra weight she tends to roll over on herself so she was the first that obviously needed structural help. I'm not sure my other girls will need anything at all.
@dalemac, When I started my first grow back in the spring, I wanted to try something advanced just because my buddies thought I was nuts π... (they are all about yeild) I just didn't want to grow, I wanted to learn cool ass shit! π
I came across a couple of older diaries on the net... one name is Nugbuckets that I do believe could have named it manifolding... and the other is Nebula Haze... which I believe is the same training just done their own way.
Followed both of their tuts... with a couple of small changes... and so far it has been amazing... π
Check out my Cinderella 99, that was my very first.... now I'm on to these ones.... once again... adding my own touch (crossing of the arms). πͺ
Has to be about the fun and not just the yield...
Happy growing my friend! π
@Ladysgrow2, I always like to top when I see the 5th or 6th node... sometimes even the 4th node is fine as long as the girls are healthy with no issues...
I usually top them at the 3rd node... and clean up the bottom nodes as well... I find it's a good start for mainlining.π
