Newbie_uk Plant has been germinated outside from April, came out of a bag unknown, think it's a sativa only been fed tomato feed and rain water suffered abit through not enough water and a snapped side branch..taped up seems to b holding well..has went through the wars hope she makes it to the end..had 2,auto northern lights grew very well harvested about an ounce of each

Newbie_uk Been reading alot more on the flowering stage and I might have thought it was in flowering as I had noticed the pistols starting to show but after reading so many posts most say that flowering only starts when we go to 12/12 and I think I'm still a week or so away from that..can ny1 clear that up?? It's been about 17 weeks vegging (April 27)

Newbie_uk So after talking to a friend who's an experienced grower about my worries of it not finishing I'm now bringing it in and hopefully forcing it to flower, hopefully the stretch will not b much as I'll b out of room.. does nyone know if I cuz cover it with a bag or would that b a dad idea? 2nuts brought in and I have noticed more hairs so hopefully that's the start :) if also took advice and added some blooming ferts

Newbie_uk Well it's been a shitty week regarding no sun just plenty of clouds and wind..seriously windy last 2 days posted a we video to show, the sun's out today and still got plenty of wind, for having such a bad week the buds have got very big compared to last week, well pleased and still a month to go :) :)
After listening to some good experienced people in decided to lollypop her and try and concentrate the energy to the top part of the plant..pray lol :)

Newbie_uk Wasn't expecting much change as I might've shocked her by taking the bottom branches, but I have :) all going good..removed strawberries and added more soil to try n help it, there's a branch that has most of yellow leaves but that is the branch that I snapped a while back and taped back on lol buds going good on it so not too concerned kinda hoping itl do it's thing lol

Newbie_uk Where do I start?? Absolute Fucking disaster week, first we had relatives from Scotland over that was unannounced as it was a 'surprise', really glad to see them but bad timing for my plant, she's a School head and had kids so no other option other than to put it in the shed for two days as they left when dark, then on Thursday workmen have arrived to clean and paint garden fences all young lads and I had to work so another 2 Fucking days in the shed, turned out half decent weather to. So today I find Fucking mold on 1 of the colas, cut it off and took pics have to be grateful there wasn't more but I'll have to keep checking daily! Am I too early to cut if it gets worse, pistols have started turning brown but maybe only 15-20%! Help me out guys, what can I do need advice more than ever lol think I'm gonna give it water from here on in just incase, be raging if I lost it now after all this time lol
Edit: added some cool in the shed bed time photos with a bit of UB40 nursing them to sleep :)

Newbie_uk So bit of a change this week noticed the bottom buds starting to form/fatten up, had a tough week with Ireland's first hurricane and lost a branch on the process, harvested what I could! Giving it only pure water from here on in, get it to consume what's left in the soil. Would any one recommend deleafing the bush? Would it help or harm it?
LATE EDIT: Found some early mold in 3 of my top colas , found it just as it was starting, cut off and harvested, gutted but better than losing the whole cola, gonna keep an eye out and just cut it and harvest it when it appears
ANOTHER LATE EDIT: found more mold on 3 more colas, so iv harvested all the top buds b4 I lose anymore, well c if the other buds take their place, pics will follow

Newbie_uk Getting closer to harvest, buds have really took off since I took their heads off starting to fill out all over, still all cloudy trichs so hoping this week they start browning, being fed only water now so should start to see some yellowing soon, was planning on cutting next week , wel c how we get on this week! Does NY1 how long from cloudy to Amber roughly? Or is it all strain dependent?
Well :) finally ended up having to harvest as I was starting to get more and more mold, would've loved to have giving her at least another two weeks but that's the way it goes! Haven't got a wet weight for her, but the tops I cut a fortnight ago yielded 23grams dry, I'll update when drying is completely finished! Lovely lemony smell comes from her and the taste is very citrusy! Everytime I have a puff within half an hour I'm yawning lol delighted for my first attempt, thanks to all who helped on here and for anyone who just had a nosey! Brilliant people and brilliant site! Newbie_uk Started in April 27th harvested 2ND November in lovely northern Ireland :) was always told it would never grow, boy were they wrong! She had a tough time, from snapped branches til surviving a hurricane! Eventually Ireland's famous rain and 85-95 humitidy called her to a halt! Best £15 I ever spent, came from a bud that I bought she has repaid me 50fold so I can't complain! Gonna be trying aload of autos next season that should be fine over the summer months! True sativas here I doubt would finish, Maybe an indica of some sort! Thanks again to everyone who helped! Wish I could have a doobie with use all lol until next year peace out everyone :) :) had no scales to weigh the wet weight but I got just over 2.5ounces dry, well pleased!! The taste is really nice a real pleasant high, can't stop yawning everytime I have a smoke :) thanks again000
I see some purple starting on your tips of some of the bud leaves. Ive had some start on my fan leaves but nothing in the buds. That's really all I am waiting for right now.
You've still got a couple of weeks but you're doing good. The yellowing has stopped so you got the roots taken care of and there is probably plenty of nitrogen in the soil so I would stop feeding now. Don't flush though let them use up whatever is in the soil for another week then consider flushing.
It gets hard not to chop but wait you will be much happier.
Yea I would keep feeding them a little longer. The rot happens because the bud gets just way to thick with plant material like lettuce. Its yellow in there because it doesn't see the sun. The mold starts in cool damp dark environments. Light is the best thing because if it can get light it gets air too so if your worried pull apart each individual bud in the colas just a little but so each one is not really touching the next. You can do this every day just by pushing apart with your fingers or a little tool, they will train that way too. or tie them apart. Promote air circ and light as much as possible. But your girls look good. My colas were thick like that for a month and that was just too long. I don't mind at all though, and you shouldn't worry too much either. Just take it as it comes and keep it going with whatever you can until you run out of time or the plant gets done either way you'll have good smoke. You plants are healthy and the sugars are there. They might only need 2 more weeks depending on your weather. If you get some rot I know you'll catch it early so just trim it out or cut some down to smoke. But make sure you throw out all the dead rot material don't smoke it or keep it around.
That's another question I wanted to ask, glad ur online was freaking out all morning lol could I take the colas off or would it shock it aswel? I also know I could miss the big push , I won't ryt but for future reference incase I spot more

Doing that outdoors that time of year it's doing really well. I used to have problems with the really frosty mornings. Maybe a lil bulb in your shed as a top up when it pissing down.
@Newbie_uk,They're doing great. Don't panic patience is the key to these guys. Im just about to post my pics for this week. You'll see why I don't trim and its hard not to. I have to restrain myself from doing little things to the plants every day. I wanted to trim the bottom branches to help the terminals but just look at what they produced. Some of the nicest buds on the plants. Plus if anything happens to your top cola the others jump right in and finish the grow.
@M0J0R1s1ng,glad u think its OK, though I did notice a big enough line of fluff up one of the main stems, cleaned it up best I could, u think I should start the flush roughly 10.5 hrs of light when I can get it
I just read your update. man what a difference between the countries. I have 2 kids and loads of relatives with kids that come over all the time,plenty of nosey neighbours, workers all over but nobody really gives a shit. They're in plain site even stick out when I put them on the roof. Even though its not legal until next summer its been like this for as long as I can remember. What would they do if they saw your plants? Steal them, call the cops, or just look down on you?
@Newbie_uk,Not yet but the courts have been told to drop most cases so the cops only use it to hassle you and take your shit and cash. They popped a dispensary the other day and raided their homes too and took about 200 kilos and $300g's. They're real fuckers. They all fucking smoke too. I bet they found more like 500 kg's and $600g's but it didn't make it back to the station.

@Ageddd, yeah my friend told me that it was lemon haze, I just hit anything didn't know what headband was lol he says it's def a haze and it smells very lemony citrusy, just going on his recommendation, personally I had no idea,could realistically be anything lol
@Newbie_uk, I understand hahaha. A friend of mine grew an awesome Lemon haze that was one of the best strains i have ever smoked, hard rocks, incredible high, and lemon flavour... so lemon haze genetics are superb.

@islandgrows89,Agreed at least 3 weeks if you can. If you put her in the garage at night or when raining that would be good. I have a fan on mine at nights and when raining. I also made the shitty light setup but its working fine. Its not even 100 watts.The energy is no where near even rainy overcast days but better than nothing. I also put them in the garage for an hour at night and in the morning during the twilight hours. Its still light out but there's no real solar radiation reaching the plants so why not give them that boost in the morning and before bed without screwing with their photo period. I think its helping. The fan is definitely helping keep the dry
Is the purple a good or bad thing? Fed it yesterday b4 I got to read this as I gathered it might be another 2.5 weeks away my d8 n my head is Sunday 5th Nov, so hoping to watch some sort of fat explosion happen lol would like to see some more brown hairs appear as its still very green looking, I know the plant is healthy so just hoping she rewards me for looking after her lol

as @MOJOR1s1ng said to prevent rot , u better have nice air flow circulation and light exposure, as direct sun rise temperature on plant surface, and mold needs concrete moisture and temperature to survive, so make it hard for mold...
What do you think about flushing insecticide?? With that climate you have in Ireland, could be interesting to wonder that, i see it as securing the harvest 😎

@Ageddd, Yes purple is good. If its in their genes it means they are reacting to the changes in weather and other signals of time running out to reproduce. Just like the trees in the fall except they have done reproducing long ago and they have shut off the supply of things like amino acids, sugars and carbohydrates to their extremities. While our plants do the same, they don't shut off the supply to the buds because they are still drastically trying to get pollen and make seeds. The hairs would normally grab the pollen and the seed would start. The resin helps attract insects and pollen clings to it so they keep producing it.
