After making what I think will turn out to be a mistake in giving the indoor gal a trim, going to be a waiting process to whether I’ve done much damage to her. As for the two in the green house there shooting up and growing some nice height on the plant. Still no real signs of flowering starting but in all honesty no really sure on the signs to look for.

Is there a fool proof guide or way of telling the plant is transitioning from veg to flower? Was hoping I’d start seeing signs by no but in all honesty I don’t really know what I’m looking for. TIA

The colas or the main parts of the plant will start to get really Leafly then turning into hairs and then buds start producing. I honestly don’t think your plant is any where ready for real flowering :) 🌱🤙🏼 Still growing very beautifully

Other that a few pesky slugs and white flies in the green house, everything seems to going really well. Outdoor plants are showing about a 10cm height difference with the indoor plant. Day 42 and all 3 plants are showing different grow rates. While the indoor plant is going pretty steadily (15 inches of growth through the week) the two out for have grown 12 inches and 6 inches each and showing signs there further into flower due to only 14 hours of daylight. All in all still very happy 😃

Well all things are still cracking on, after a great weekend of weather the two outdoor baby are coming on great measuring at 66 and 50 cm respectively, the indoor plant is still showing signs of being slightly behind in the flowering stage (38cm tall) but I’m putting this down to me probably over defoliating the leaves and the constant 18 hours where as the outdoor plants are getting between 15/16 a day with the days only getting shorter

Day 50 and full steam ahead, all 3 plants showing great growth this week (all around 20 cm), started the week with another trim on the indoor plant as well as some training to even out the canopy and give me some more room to control the light height as the tent is 120cm

Started to notice a few leaves on one of the outdoor plants, just looking for a diagnosis. I think it’s leaf septoria (yellow leaves spots) but I’m hopeful someone can confirm this or tell me what it is and what action to take....TIA and happy growing 😎

It's more a discolouration than a disease to me. If it's leaves septoria disease then what we can see is the early stage but I wouldn't bet my next harvest on that. Wait a couple days and if the leaf septoria disease if confirmed then you'll need a cooper base anti fungus. I is probably a deficiency at a early stage so keep monitoring

So started this week with one last defoliation before harvest. Also last week I plan on using nutrients before beginning to flush. Indoor plant is about a week or so behind in growth compared to the outdoor pair but is no starting to bud. Dropped the light down to 6 inches to up the PPFD and will keep an eye out for light burn

So now in the start of week 10 from they were first germinated these little widows ain’t so little anymore (68,94,81cm) still not convinced there ready to be flushed as tricomes are still mainly clear, so going to keep up the 4.4.4 mix of nutrients until I’m convinced there good to go. In the mean time it’s time to decide what to grow next as I’ve been purchasing seeds every month of this grow to build a seed bank up. 2 alien vs triangle and 2 Beary white x 3 bears OG mystery seeds from Mephisto, 3 white widow fem and 3 dance world cbd from royal queen seeds. Thinking the mystery seeds as the genetic are mainly for short busy plants will suit my 40x40x120 tent a lot better and I’m not overly sure on how well they will go in the greenhouse now we’re in autumn and the nights getting colder and shorter. Any advise would be appreciated 😎👍🏻 Happy growing all Edit: day 66 saw me start to flush plant two, neither of the other one are anywhere near ready as there pistils are still mainly white where’s as plant two is around 50/50 Day 68 three a curve ball and the major issues of the grow so far in that my light has stopped working, so has had to be put into the greenhouse. Really hoping it does effect it but I’m guessing time will only tell, though it’s nice to see a side by side of how different they are

So after last week amateur dramatics with the light, things now all look all good. The plant 1 is still lagging behind so will keep feeding nutrients where as both the other two I’ve started to flush and clearly see a difference in the buds swelling Day 75 I chopped plant two as i was starting to notice so mold on a few of the buds so took the decision to get her cut down and drying before risking loosing more. Other two plants are still plodding along, looking at the next week for plant 3 and at least another 1/2 weeks on plant 1

So into week 12 and day 78 saw me chop down plant 3 as mold was starting to get on the buds so trimmed off the bad and got it drying with the 1st plant. As for plant one I started to flush in day 79 the buds themselves are really small but dense but hoping over the next 2 weeks of flushing the will puff out. Major lesson I’ve taken from this from a first time grower is to start outdoor plants earlier than I did and don’t just buy the cheapest light you find, have now got a 1000w led which covers all the basis for all stages of the grow and is setup with another plant.

Well this first time grow has been defiantly worth it. After curing the first two plants the smoke is really great. Could have had better buds if I had planted them early in the season but happy with what I received. Would have liked to have kept them all going a few weeks longer but with mold becoming more of a problem I didn’t want to waste the entire harvest. Will update when the 3rd plant has finished drying.

@Jwjoh, cheers mate, very happy with how there all coming along although all 3 are growing differently in regards to how far along they are. Going to keep up nutrient feeds on all 3 until there’s more cloudy trichs and change the needs of each plant accordingly 👌🏻

@Puffer_Bill, yeah that’s what I’m putting it down to. All 3 plants have been great, the two outdoor had a few issues with slugs earlier in the grow but nothing that wasn’t too hard to sort out. Another 3/4 and the outdoor will be ready but just waiting on the indoor to start proper flowering 😎

Re: greenhouse... I'm still a total noob but here's my thoughts from a noob perspective XD which can sometimes be the best perspective because your head isn't already filled with set ways! First of all, look up "12/12 from seed". This is likely what you'll be doing in the greenhouse because of daylight. Nothing wrong with it, you'll just basically be turning non-autoflowers into autoflowers. I've never done it before, but I've put a lot of research into cannabis growing and plan to try 12/12 from seed at some point. Apparently people do it in solo cups as the "Solo Cup Challenge", which I might try some day as well. Secondly, regarding temp... This will likely be a problem. To resolve this problem at night you could just pull them inside and put them in a dark closet or something. During the day I'm not so sure. Can you heat the greenhouse with a space heater or something? Not sure just how big of a greenhouse, but in my head I'm thinking one of those massive commercial ones, which a space heater of course wouldn't do ;) If you're worried about heat escaping, you can line the walls and ceiling with some thicker transparent plastic. I grew up in a hunting cabin, we had to put plastic over the windows every winter to help keep the heat from the woodstove inside and to stop the drafts from blowing through the house when it was a windy winter day. Otherwise, you might need to build some sort of box with thin plexiglass on all sides for each plant, or a group of plants, and figure out how to heat that. Furthermore, they of course need fresh airflow. So what I would probably do to heat a plexiglass box, is get some sort of heater that's shaped/designed so I can use a hose to direct airflow INTO it (I'm normally for negative flow, where you are pulling air in from a hole and sucking it out of the tent with a fan -- but in this case, you'd need positive flow). Put the heater inside the box with a tube running into it, so that it sucks air INTO the box, and then make a small exhaust cutout on the side and put some fine screen over it. That way you pull cold air in with the heater and push warm air out through the hole. It'd be best to have the exhaust hole down low as heat wants to rise, so if you put it up higher, you'll constantly lose heat and the heater will kick on more often. Where if you put it lower, when the heater kicks on the heat will displace to the top, the cold will displace to the bottom and be pushed out the bottom vent hole from the positive pressure :) Also make sure to keep them up off the floor as well (I imagine tables in your greenhouse but I don't really know). From what I understand, if the plants get much below 60F temp or so, then you start running into problems.

I have read that you can give a light defoliation to autos. Hopefully your auto will not need much recovery time. 🍀. I'm useless with autos. 🤯

Due to fan leaves getting on the larger side in the indoor plant, I decided to give the girl a trim to expose some of the lower bud sites to increase yield down the line and make it easier to lst

Started lst on the tent grow and one of the greenhouse plants, the second is a full set of leaves behind so plan on starting that by the end of the week
