Here we go I decided it was time for the gold glue run here we are at day1. Two twin girls; lets hope they grow up into some fat dense nugs!
The girls will live under 74watt T5 bulbs for 24hrs; then be moved under the COBs. For this run I have modified mephisto's 1 liter method with the buried bottomless tek. I have currently planned to bury the girls into 5gallon containers on sex day; anywhere between days 15-18.
#in_meph_we_trust
Here are a few fully body shots of the girls with their sticky traps next to 'em;;; i found the adult thrip killed it; so I have not seen any new sores in the last 48hrs. The other tent sadly is still in full attack mode; the thrip got away from me yesterday! ;(
*ps sorry for the burple; forgot to turn it off and retake them shots!
edit; Day 19 we have some pistils on teh bigger girl; The smaller one has yet to show any sex. They both have very compact nodal growth now, and I did cut a pair of fans of each to allow the bottom nodes to grow up. Lets watch them come to life here in teh next week or so. The smell is very faint; if you stick your nose in her you can get a dankness, but not in the room at all. Magic is brewing, I'd like to imagine! 😄
Day 24;; thing are in full stretch mode. The vertical growth now is impressive. The bigger girl is almost a foot tall now and a huge side branching. Very impressive... Her nose is DANK! I took a few of her fans off to induce a stress repsonse and jeez they stunk, of a fresh skunk. I can't wait for flower! The younger girl is coming along from her stall out; I don't see as much maturity into preflowering as her bigger sister. So her height might come during the next 12 days or so. I expect all that to slow down around day 42.
Day 29; Here we go at day 29. THe girls sure do have a nice dankness to them. The growth is impressive in the big girl. Huge waxy covered fans; great preflowrs all over the main stalk and side branching. She is a true beauty. Her sister had a bit of a slow start. Things are definitely in stretch mode now. She is reaching for the lights, I "pigtailed" and took some inner fans off today to help get the braching exposed to the light. Hopefully she keeps lagging into flower and I can get some stretch out of her.
stay tuned for more later this week!
Day33: There is definitely a few days difference between the two girls. The bigger gal has definitely well advanced into flowering; the colas are everywhere now. Where her sister has begun her stretch. Both girls got a few defoiled this week. Their nose is just beautifully sweet and earthy.
Day 40 - Great Growth on the two girls. I believe we are seeing two different phenos. One is big and strechy but fast flower. She has a monster dominate cola of 8+ inches. And two side branches are completely full of small buds. The lower lower canopy is developing nicely as well. She has fullly gone into sugar production.
The smaller sister has now developed into a monster with 4 branches all over and more as you come closer into the center stem. She has caught up nicely to her sister; there is no signs of sugar production on her yet; So hopefully a bit more stretch is left in her. I expect her to run 5-7 days longer at the end.
Stay tuned for the start of week 6 shots. 👊
Day 50: well the girls are doing well into flower now; The bigger stretchy pheno started to pack on the weight; its massive cola and smaller side branches. She had a very large hunger and I totally missed that CalMG. So she suffered a few burns from the defc. The stress popped out a few nanners; but i got the knife out and cut them out. I have not seen anything since. But regardless of the minor issues; she is looking fine. I suspect a day 65+ for finishing.
The smaller pheno has been great. She did a lot of streching on her own. I think the heigh difference is only 3-4 inches now. She made a much wider canopy with 5 main colas. No where near as fat yet as her sister, though I am hoping she will go a bit longer and fill in the same. She has a few minor issues with calMg but no where near her sisters hunger.
The smelling is intensely of earthy grapeness from the girls in the tent. I can't wait to have at these flowers in a month or so.
Thanks for stopping in
deadly 👊
Day 60; well we are getting well into week 8 already. The Bigger faster flowering GG is coming along. Lots of mature hairs showing up over the past week. Her feed is still on par. I think today is the official change to straight water till the end now. I expect her to run another 7-10 days. The ambering is starting on her. So hopefully before day 70.
The smells on the bigger girl are of sour grape and earthyness. Very unique from her sister.
The smaller GG I didn't get any shots of her this update. The camera battery died before I got to take some shots. Her main cola has started to change the first hair color. So we are well on the way to finishing; I suspect maybe 3 weeks left on her; well into the 80 day mark. Very sativa lineage. Her buds are swelling hard these past weeks; and her aorma is more pine and lime, very fresh and earthy. (wlll update some day 61 photos, so check back for those)
Thanks for stopping in;
edit: day 61 shots of GG2 up'd. She def got hit with a CalMG defc... I have increased the amount of feed of CalMG, the Floranova has kept the same at 2ml.
Definitely noticed she needed wanted more and more waterings; think the issues arose due to lack of food, and not frequent enough. very hungry girl we got here.
Welp here we are at day66!!! The funniest thing is developing.. The smaller girl is starting to show many signs of amber heads all over. The caylxs are starting to swell a bit and are poking out of the fans. The layers of trichs just keep developing. It is crazy to see so much white.
I think a few more days and they are both gonna come down on day 68-70.
edit: had to swap out the light sched to 12/12 for the last couple days. As the tents converting into a flower room for some photos!
@@Deadlyeight,
Damn dude yeah I mean I have a carbon filter running hard but none of my plants really stink much. Its kind of that sweet, typical early flower growing cannabis smell I suppose is the only way I could describe it. They seem very healthy and I am hitting with with AN's full line + Terpinator and nothing really yet. This could be total bull but I have heard on a podcast that growing with AN can make a lot of your product smell and taste very similar. If this harvest smells the same way as my previous 3 I am going to start to get suspicious.
The plants just got some overdrive yesterday so I am hoping they start mobbing now.
Anyway, best of luck! ✊
@Grimbol, Omg yea! never seen anything like this, the smell is of a ripe merlot. Its so nice to just sit there and take in the wine like aroma.
How are yours doing on the nose department? Mine completely dropped that dankness in early flower.
@Grimbol, Cheers Dude! best of luck on your end as well! I got a little bug issue. So sadly day 6 I finally gave in and moved them up under the COBS. Hopefully they will be safe until I get the IPM next week! 👊
Regardless, I am super stooked to see what this GoldGlue turns into!
@nataS, Thanks for stopping by! Its getting exciting, I can't wait to try these plants... there is tons of milky tirchomes in there on both ladies, and the odd amber head on the fans... hopefully by day 70-72 we are ready for chopping on that second pine-lime lady, and I suspect by 68 we are gonna be ready to chop down that first one. The foxtails/fingers now on the main cola are so cool to watch develop.
@MiniFarmer, thanks man! I think one is being a bit of a retard! she's extremely smaller than her sister; a whole node behind. She took the neem treatment a bit harsh and burnt. As her sister just didn't give it a second thought. Oh well. Keep em alive and see where we are at.
Thanks for stopping in!
will get some week 2 pics up soon.
