My wife and I germinated using the paper towel method all 5 seeds popped, we have had around 98% success rate using this method. We placed the paper towel on a plate and stuck the plate in a ziploc bag I say it took around 48 hours for all 5. After they popped we simply made a hole just as deep as your first knuckle on your finger deep, then placed Great White mycorrhizae in the hole vicariously. Turn the humidity up and let them rest in complete darkness until they all sprouted out. We try to explain our grow process in detail simple to help others and so we can get help as well.
@grayabis Hi mate yes 5.6 is a tad low for coco 5.9-6.2 is about spot on so if you can adjust your feeds to somewhere within that range with ph up your ph will naturally rise Hope this helps mate
Good question on the start time for the diary. I was planning to start my diary about a week or so after seed sprout because that's what I had been reading "mostly" Some say seedling stage is until the first pair of "real" leaves come in. However, I was just watching a Jorge Cervantes video and he says "vegetative growth lasts from the moment a clone or seedling takes root until it matures enough to begin producing buds," On top of that, after thinking about it, I'd bet people want to know the length of time from seed to harvest. So now I have decided to start my grow diaries at first sight of a sprout. Good luck on the grow!!
