Just getting started. Second time growing this autoflower. Third time growing anything. (I grew a photo period "Papaya" strain for my first plant; but after growing my first autoflower, I just ordered a bunch of new auto seeds. Will be working through 3 diaries soon.
This one has about ten times the foilage area of my other two plants which are currently little stems with tiny leaves. They are only a couple of days behind this one, so I am thinking it's probably largely genetic.
I went ahead and fimmed her a few days ago. First time attempting anything like that, so we'll see how it goes goes. This strain is so hearty; it's a pleasure to watch it grow. It seems like every time I peek, she has grown a little more.
Growing up big and strong. Itching to smoke this one already, but I know I have to wait. Some of the leaves are a little damaged by the intake fan. Moved things around to help minimize the damage.
I guess the defoiling I did last week didn't slow this girl down much. Some of the leaves are still taking a bit of wind damage from the intake fan. I wish there was a way to turn it down a little.
Flowers everywhere! I can see the colas starting to form.
A few more weeks and this will be ready to harvest.
One of the things I love about this strain is how fast it grows.
So I think my next update will be the harvest, but I don't trust myself because I am dying to smoke some non-reg. Lol. So, I am asking you all: Is she ready? I see mostly cloudy trichomes with a few ambers. I prefer more cerebral/less couch lock (doesn't that mean I should harvest sooner rather than later? Thought I read that somewhere (or heard it from a good friend)). Anyway, I tried to get some good pictures. What do you think? Is she ready?
I really enjoyed keeping a diary here. Gave me something to look forward to when I had my diary to update. I didn't really have any problems. I am not super experienced at this, just put the seed in the dirt and gave it light and water. She needs a bit of defoiling on a regular basis. The plant is super hardy, and grows to maturity very quickly.
