Still growing well, they're healthy, so no complaints. I know they're in flower but it still seems so small. Still feeding once a week with nutrients, watering every few days seems to be fine.

I'm worried my gals are a little too small for the age, 17 days and only 3 inches. Is this normal? Also, should I start nutes when they're that small? Thanks for the help and the great platform!

Hey there gnome. Yes your plants are a little small for their age, bit they look healthy. When growing in soil you usually don't need to use any nutrients until around the 3rd week. I also suspect that you have been overwatering a little. You want to let them dry out a lot before you water. These plants like to have a steady wet/dry cycle. If they are kept too moist then oxygen flow around the roots will be poor and they won't grow very fast. But hey knowledge is power and we all still learn in this hobby every day. Don't stress yourself out about the beginner mistakes. Just take what you learn and as long as your next grow is always a little better than the last then that is progress! That is what it is all about. I will follow you on these. If you have any future concerns feel free to ask. Good luck!

Hey, plant is looking good. I would add nutrients, especially since there is yellowing of the first set of leaves, the cotyledons. Those are there to provide the plant nutrition until the plant can get established. There is some discoloration on the first set of fan leaves on the plant on the left too, hard to say what but probably a deficiency as well. Start low with the nutrients.. less than 40-50% of what they say on the bottle and work your way up with how the plant responds. happy growing! 💪

Plants are small, but it's not a huge disaster. They're healthy, but I know it has to be the old seeds and my lack of experience. I'm always willing to eat crow if I've messed up, and any help is always appreciated. Thanks!
