Oh man this stuff is potent. It’s description said some flower could exceed the 30% thc mark, I don’t think mines quite that high😉 but it’s packs a punch even with me who tolerance is through the roof. I cut this plant with almost no amber trichomes and good thing I did because it gives a beautiful high with about 100% milky trichomes. The bud structure was describes as compact popcorn nugs and that’s exactly what they are, the nugs looked smaller at first but pulled the same weight as some of the bigger nugs on my other strains in the end. Smells very earthy and sweet and pungent. Very pleased with the quality of this bud for my first go indoors.

First grow so I don’t have much to compare it too other than my buds are very very good. Will use again for another grow. Little pricey and a lot of mixing is the only negative.

For the final week I pulled my scrog to the middle of my tent and lights trimmed the buds and set it too 55% humidity and 20 degrees by day 6 they were dry enough to trim up pretty to put in jars and burp until I was happy with the moisture level (63-64%). Now they’ve been curing for almost 3 weeks so the true look and smell has arrived. What a treat. For my first grow I’m very happy with the quality witch is most important to me. Some little tweaks moving forward and it should only get better. A little description on what I ran in my tent for this grow. 3x3x6 Tent 4” intake 6”exhaust 30 pint dehumidifier(vents dry air in doesn’t actually fit in tent) 7 gallon fabric pots.. easy to make smaller if those are too big, gives you some leeway. Two 600watt led full spectrum cob series lights. Kryptonite worm casting soil with added perlite. Technaflora recipe for sucess kit for nutes (non organic). Wet dry vacuum so suck up run off. Oscillation fan. 400watt ceramic heater. Two 500ml humidifiers. Exhale XL Co2 bag hanging above plants. Scrog net that I cut into 3x3 and used adjustable zip ties to attach it to the poles, makes for easy adjustment. Ink-bird Humidity and temp controller attached to my units. 4 gallon pump sprayer makes watering a breeze (like the stuff for weeds like actual weeds lol). Water PH pen and ppm meter. Syringe for measuring nutrients. Ph up Ph down liquids. Light timers. And zip ties lots of ******** zipties. I’m sure I’m forgetting something in the list but that’s a good idea of what I use. People always want to know the tricks to having good weed, well there isn’t one. If you want good weed start with the basics- proper lighting for your setup - proper temp - proper humidity - good soil - good seed/strain - ph’d water with correct PPM. Adequate Co2/airflow. Dial in those basic first and you’ll have great stuff I promise. Without those aspects perfected all the other tricks you read about won’t matter. Hope you guys stay tuned in for the next grow. Till next time. Thanks for stopping in

WATERING w/ organic soil and liquid nutrients. QUESTION - when watering with plain water I leave very little runoff to keep organic properties inside but when I use liquid nutes should I water with 30% runoff or keep everything inside the pot like I do when using plain water?

If you are using organic soil or an organic medium (like Coco-Loco) with organic liquid/dry fertilizer- you should be fine with just watering to the point of soaking the entire pot with no run off. But if you are using organic soil with bottled non organic nutes- you can still have a build up of salts that will most likely need to be flushed out at some point. Usually halfway through the grow as they transition into flowering. I have skipped the flush once or twice before and had some serious issues with leftover fertilizer/salts affecting my plants. Something else to keep in mind when using bottled non organic nutes in an organic medium is that often times the nutes kill off the healthy, beneficial micro/macro bacteria that you are trying to foster in your root zone. So really, it’s bottled non organic nutes and whatever medium you choose or it’s all organic nutes with all organic soil. It’s all or nothing with organics as it’s all about protecting the valuable microbial life within the soil/root zone. Hope this helps!

Grow looks great ! Do those Dehumidifyer packets work ?
SirDillton
SirDilltoncommented5 years ago
My dehumidifier can get my tent down to 35% RH but I find it tends to run a little warm when I do that (27-30 degrees) so I put those little packs in there somy dehumidifier turns on a little bit less keeping it 2-3 degrees cooler... haven’t noticed much of difference though. So I would say no. Lol @Cultiv8or,
