I think she’s showing a little bit of burn of some type so I flushed her out this week with only water, staying a touch damp so I’m going to wait until I’m sure she’s dry to water, I was trying to microdose her watering but I messed that up I think. She’s more stressed than I’d like. I did move my light cycle to 12/12 too. I did tie her down to split out about 6 colas and give her room to stretch out.

I’ve read and researched but wanted to get the consensus of the community. I recently switched my lights to 24hrs. My plants are photo period sprouts. Is 24 hrs too much for the first 5 weeks or should I go back to 18/6? After week 5 I plan to flip it to 12/12 for flowers.

Hey skunk. I run mine 24/7 as long as I can. 24 hour light has been proven to increase cannabis growth in every laboratory test that has been done. The only thing that is debated on it is whether the difference in growth outweighs the cost of the additional light hours. That will be debated forever. So yeah it you don't mind the cost beam the lights to them! I personally feel better about my grow knowing I am giving them all the light I can. I wouldn't go less than 18 in veg though. Good luck on your grow!

Anyone have any ideas as to what type of burn this is in the last few photos? I’ve ruled out pH issues as it’s staying steady at 6.5. Is it some sort of nutrient lockout or deficiency? Heat stress?

Hi @SkunkPunk! This looks like a Manganese deficiency, and it's probably related to your pH being not acidic enough during the previous weeks. Indeed, a high pH or an excess of iron can lead to this deficiency. Once you've fixed your pH to 6.2~6.5 the problem should be gone after a few days. Affected leaves won't recover but the new ones should be healthy. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information. Happy growing! 👊

So I think I have some ph issues. Bottom leaves are molting with yellow and brown spots and the texture is consistent with that of a dry paper. She’s definitely stressed. Haven’t watered for a week and the soil is still not dry, and it’s a draining pot. It was a full flush last time though. Going to order pH meter...😕

@Puffer_Bill, just one of this one. If she grows right, I’ll re-veg her and flower her twice, since she’s a photo-period strain. I did this before with bag seed and got awesome results from the flower. I figured the worst case scenario is that she becomes a hermaphrodite and produces a seed or two for my collection. Thanks, I dig the logo, I should finish it up some day.

Love your rig 👌🏼😎 Strawberry Zombie sounds wicked. In the section where you fill in lights....You got your veg and flower lights the wrong way around.

@Puffer_Bill, Thanks! It’s still taboo here, so I made a stealth little area in my garage. It’s just a garbage can and some lamp sockets, but it does the trick. I’ll flip the lights around, but I’m running them both congruently. They’re just some regular led bulbs that are high output and a couple cfl bulbs I used for photography.

Midweek- she is doing great, I nipped the bottom undergrowth to give me a little bit of circulation between the pot and plant.

Not much to update at the half week, growing slowly or I’m impatient

Thanks for the input on light cycles, I’m going to run them 24/0 and experiment. I just upgraded my lights too. I added (2) 300w equivalent LEDs to my (2) CFLs that are 100w each. That should bring me up-to 800w equivalent.
