Fourth Week:
- Started to feed nutes at 1/4 the recommended dose.
- Plants had are starting to have issues I need to sort out. I believe it is PH causing a lockout.
Fifth Week:
- had to flush the plants due to PH being below 5.0. Once I did this they were already recovering the next day.
- Added a Scrog to the tent and topped the plants. (wish I had of done this a little bit sooner but its fine)
- Began some LST to keep everything level with the Srcog
Sixth Week:
- Plants are doing amazing.
- Continuing to tuck under the Scrog
- Noticed some slow growth and debating adding some co2 due to hot weather incoming.
Seventh Week:
- Scrog is about 70% filled out
- Plants look great
- Had to remove one plant that was about to die... Not sure what happened, have it outside now.
- Flipping to Flower.
- Still using co2
They will not stop stretching... As of now I am running out of room to move my light so I am debating on what I should do... Hope it stops as i thought I had it under control prior to flowering.
They finally stopped stretching about half way through last week. Buds are exploding now. Trimming when needed. Had to increase fan speed to ensure humidity was down. Everything seems to be on track.
Coming up to the end of week 6. Starting to notice a lit of the tips of the fan leaves are turning brown. I have not started flushing as I am not sure if it is time? It STINKS in there. Starting to notice a lot of amber hairs, but the trichomes have no amber as of yet. F43.
I am coming up to the end of week 6. Have cut back slightly on nutrients, while maintaining ph (unable to read ppm). Lots of hairs beginning to turn amber, but the trichoms have not yet shown any sign of amber. Should i be flushing them now? Whats wrong with the leaves?
When you want to harvest depends on each grower. Personally, I like to flush when I see about 30-40 opacity and like 10% amber, and wait for the next several days for the plant to absorb the remaining nutes that the plant had collected. Generally, clear trichomes = early and gives you anxiety. Opaque trichomes = the head high, they say. And amber = body high.
Pretty much if you want body high, wait a little longer. If you want head high, then harvest a lil sooner. If you have a plant that will finish flowering in 8 weeks, then I’d wait another week or so and flush.
Right now your plant looks like it can go another week or two. The leaves will either start to turn yellowish as they are near to end their cycle.
Also I wouldn’t dial down the nutes just yet until you are actually ready to flush. They still need their nutes. Cheers.
Day 53 of flower. I have been flushing them for 1.5 weeks with ph adjusted water. Also keeping an eye on trichoms and I have got lots of amber now. I will be harvesting at the end of the week (Friday).
Flushed for about 2 weeks and then harvested. Hung dried hanging upside down in the grow tent between 65-70F and 55-60% humidity for 8 days. Harvested today. burping every few hours with 62% humidity packs in the jars. Going to cure for a minimum of 2 weeks. Tried a few smaller dry buds and was surprised. Cannot wait to try the buds after being cured. What a learning experience, but I am happy with my first grow!
it's time for you supercrop the tallest one my friend.
you can also fold your metal ties that hangs between your light and the hanger and then hang them. it'll save you about 6 inches.
@VickTurbo, omg did it work for you?? Lol I’m so glad. That’s what I do and I have no problems with vertical space. Next time, you can LST heavily and even with a 5ft grow tent, you can grow really big ones.
@MaryJaneUSA, Thank you! I have run into a bit of an issue with the new growth turning a bit yellow. Hoping I was able to correct it with the last watering.
@VickTurbo, read what I’ve wrote for you on your “help” section. Your plant has another week or so to bud. Try not to bring down your nutes until you are going to flush. But when you flush, flush them well.
Hey bro nice nugs nice grow!!! Cant wait to start growing indoors myself. U dont need to burp every 2 hours i burb every day 1-2 times 20-30min first 2 weeks then itss good :)
You have about a week or two bro, almost ready , start bringing the nutes down if you want and then I’d start flushing within a week. When I say flush, you flush and wait another several days (few days up to a week), you’ll be ready to chop. So wait about 5-7 days before you flush and then when you do so, wait another 5-7 days for your plant to starve within itself. Cheer!!
