1 Liter of RO water with 2 drops of caligmagic given over the entire week. Blue dream had helmet head problem, left it for 36 hours without improvement before I decided to intervene. had trouble getting seeds to germinate due to day/night temps fluctuating a bit.

June 25, begin week 3 from seed. GG rough transplant to 1 gal pot (it wasn't quite rooted well enough to hold the coco together) June 29 Slight Nute Burning on GG tips about 4 hours after feeding, topped off with a bit of ph 6.0 Ro water to dilute the substrate.

July 2, week 4 from seed. I broke a fan leaf off the BD during a premature LST session. For a sativa dominant hybrid, this BD looks so short and bushy...I am 100% sure I labeled correctly. has anyone else experienced this?

July 8 week 5 from seed.... MKU growing like a monster, BD staying short and bushy, GG taking the LST we'll... GG slightly sensitive to the increase in nutrients, also in a smaller pot, due for transplanting soon.

Aug 2....I am running a 600 CFM exhaust fan with a 20" rhino filter, no smell outside but when you open the tent it smells GOOD.... I took 4 clones off the MKu during week 3 as an experiment and deposited them directly into cocoon used sour cream cups(I'm all about recycling these days) No cloning gel was used, just flushed coco with 6.0 ph RO water shoved them in, placed the tray on a warming mat with a humidity dome cover and waited... The clones were well rooted in the cups I had them in so I transplanted them into small pots to see what happens. I'm giving them 1 galon of leftover 900 ppm mixed nutrients diluted with 1/2 gal of RO water prepared to 6.0 PH. I'm not sure what that equates to but they seem to be doing ok.

Aug 6, noticed a few things this week 1)yellowing around a few of the leaf edges, on the blue dream, and the MKU, and a few mangled leaves..it seems minor, affecting only a few of the fan leaves and buds are forming up so im not too worried, just curious what it is. 2) Stems deep red, I've been told this could possibly be genetics, cold night temps, or root bound. the two showing these signs are likely root bound. 3)Pest check was nil...I thoroughly inspected the entire grow space and found nothing, no signs of pests anywhere. I suspect the two demonstrating these problems are root bound and thus experiencing some nutrient issues at this critical stage..fingers crossed that the problems don't worsen, for now my plan is to add 1/4 tsp/gal Cal Mag to during normal waterings as a top off approach. If the problem worsens, I may flush each with 10 gallons of prepared nutrient solution to reestablish a proper level and flush any excess salts out, hopefully stabilising any potential ph problems in the process. will update in a few days..

Would love to get some insight on whether this is a mag def or something else. see pics, in week 9, I circled a few areas of interest. fed cal mag since day 1, medium is a 60/40 ratio of coco/perlite. should I be feeding more cal mag? Nute scheds in my log are accurate..

Hey you are going way too light on the nutrients. I would increase them to 1 tsp micro, 1/4 tsp grow and 2 tsp of bloom. This puts you under their recommended dosage but should make your plants a lot happier. If you have not flushed them in a while then I would give them a good flush after the first higher dose feeding dries out then you should be able to feed again. Hope this helps. Good luck!

august 13...week 4 of flower. A noticeable response to the nutrient change, buds starting to glisten with trichomes, some vertical growth observed. The blue dream is still hanging onto the indica traits staying short and bushy for whatever reason. I spent some time trying to spread the dense plant out and let me tell you, she is STICKY...I couldn't see it from the top but as I spread her canopy out a bit the undergrowth is quite impressive and trichome laden...what a beautiful smelling and looking plant. the GG is beginning to develop trichomes well and stretched substantially over the last week...shes the tallest one in the bunch now, also the one I did the least training on.... I turned off the ventilation for 3 or 4 minutes to make a short video and the smell was quite powerful....very sweet and fruity aroma...and very strong... for anyone who has guests or neighbours bothered by the smell of your garden, I can say that a high quality carbon filter definitely works to remove it. Aug 16 ~ I finally got around to doing some much needed defoliation. primary concern was the density of the blue dream, the plant was just a solid mass of bush and I felt this would improve airflow and allow the LED to hit the lower bud sites to allow better development. I am feeling good about the trim job, not too crazy and not too conservative. It was a difficult thing removing all that lush foliage but I am confident it will have some positive effects.

Aug 20-26 Everything going fairly well and buds beginning to look and smell beautiful. Smells sweet and citrus/fruity more than cannabis in the garden which is cool by me. The Ca and Mg def seem to not be worsening, GG is showing a bit of P def with her flowers really starting to prime up. It has been an educating experience so far with 3 strains having three different sets of needs. Aug 22 Yesterday the P def on the GG seemed to be progressing. It showed in a matter of < 48 hour period. I had a couple cold nights where it got down to upper 50's and I suspect the temp swing may have caused it. Today was feed day anyway so I gave her a good soaking with about 80% runoff to rule out any Ph drift. She has a lot of flowers so I am thinking she may just need the extra Phosphorous in her diet. I'll monitor for a few days to see if it gets worse and take further action if necessary.

On the tail end at this point, temps have been getting up to 82 during the day and the girls are drinking plenty of fluids. GG packing on some weight, and the MKU and BD slowly getting a little girth. Still noticing the P def on the GG, though I am not too worried. I know the PH is proper and I am going to allow her to utilise some of that stored energy slowly over the next few weeks. I am currently feeding her quite a lot of Bloom and have pulled the grow from their diet completely. the only source of nitrogen is from the cal mag and the micro base.

Sept 3 began flushing BD and MKU giving RO water 6 ph, heavy runoff. Sept 6, began flush GG with very little runoff, she's behind the others and I will let her use the remaining nutrients slowly. took a sample bud from the BD and dried it for a few days...smells a bit grassy..I am guessing the flush and cure will diminish that and bring back the fruity smell.

few mistakes I learned from and want to share what I think happened to the community. 1)Raising the light would have allowed more vertical growth, mine stayed very short and bushy the entire cycle...the trichomes were like glue though and its quite potent so I am not complaining 2)I believe a more aggressive lollipopping/defoliation in the third week or so would have allowed the tops to fill out better and plan to try that in the future. 3)my temps took a while to get to where I wanted them, and this strain seems to like it quite warm...something to consider.

the MK Ultra was prob the least finicky plant in my garden, it's resilience made up for my mistakes. I love the smell of this flower...it is comparable to that moment when you slice a VERY sweet fresh pineapple with a splash of clementine oranges...very sweet

She was somewhat finicky with nutrients and temps but overall resilient to my errors. In the future I'd use a PK booster to keep her reserves strong until flush. She had the least training as she was the last one to sprout I didn't want to stunt growth. I did some LST and one mild defoliation...she grew well and I am very pleased with the outcome.
