Week one is over and she is well on her way to growing. As I did last time with my auto, I soaked the whole pot and planted the seed after the taproot sprouted in the paper towel. I then just sprayed the top soil until she popped and now just leaving her be. Probably won't need to water for another week or two and just let the soil dry out. This method worked well last round.

Day 10 - Aug 5 - Watered until runoff with ¼ teaspoon cal-mag in half gallon of tap water, ph 6.6, ppm 95. She grew very well this week, probably the most aggressive grow yet. I think it's great grow for being under a 3000k QB. Just started lst at the end of this week.

Day 16 - Aug 11 - watered until runoff with ¼ tsp cal-mag, ¼ tsp Grow Big and 1.5 tsp big bloom in half gallon of tap water. Ph 6.3, ppm 520. Noticed pistils forming hopefully doesn't start flowing to soon. Day 20 - Aug 16 - watered to runoff with ½ tsp cal-mag in half gallon of tap water. Ph 6.8 Week 3 has gone well, I have introduced her first round of feeding and went about 1/4 dose since I am in FFOF soil. She is throwing pistils out everywhere and I think she has officially already started to flower on day 21. If so, this is the fastest flowering plant I have have grown so far. 😔😍 Which I am both happy and sad about. I am curious to see how she keeps growing though. In other news, I started to notice a mildew smell from the pot. I believe a little to much water is still left in the soil, so I am going to watch how much water I give her in the coming week.

Day 24 - Aug 20 - watered to runoff with ¼ tsp cal-mag, ½ tsp Grow Big, 2 tsp big bloom. Ph 6.8, ppm 721 LST is really coming along, I have been spreading her out more and more. I have to leave on vacation soon and planning on setting up a cheap self watering system from amazon. I still have yet to decide!

Day 29 - Aug 25 - Watered to runoff with ¼ tsp cal-mag, ½ tsp Grow Big, 2 tsp big bloom. Ph 6.7, ppm 700 Day 31 - Aug 27 - Attached to drip irrigation with ½ tsp big grow for 7 day vacation. As you can see from the pictures I just hooked up this drip irrigation system I got off amazon for like $40. Fingers crossed that it works while I'm on a 7 day vacation.

Day 39 - 15F - Sept 4 - Took her off the feeder from vacation. She looked very healthy besides one yellowing leaf which started before I left for vacation. She definitely grew a few inches and put on a nice amount of weight within the week. Day 40 - 16 F - Sept 5 - First feeding since I got back from vacation. Watered to runoff with ¼ tsp cal-mag, ½ tsp Grow Big, 2 tsp big bloom. Ph 6.7, ppm 700. Will increase feeding next week along with switching to Bloom nutes.

Day 43 - 23F - Sept 8 watered to runoff with ½ tsp cal-mag in half gallon of water. Ph 7.5 I know ph was a little high but should be okay. Day 46 - 25F - Sept 11 watered to runoff ½ tsp cal-mag, ½ tsp tiger bloom, 3 tsp big bloom. Ph 6.5 ppm 1220. This was a huge increase in feeding, will keep an eye out to see how she reacts. Also, the initial change to bloom nutes. Wish i had more pics but I got a bad cold last week and just watered a couple times and snapped one picture.

Sept 15 - Day 50 - 29F watered to run off with ½ tsp cal-mag. PH 6.3 Sept 19 - Day 54 - 33 F watered to runoff ½ tsp cal-mag, ½ tsp tiger bloom, 3 tsp big bloom. Ph 6.8 ppm 1220. This was a huge increase in feeding, will keep an eye out to see how she reacts. Also, the initial change to bloom nutes. I am starting to see where the name grapefruit comes from. The smell is starting to peak and has a wonderful bitter citrus aroma to the buds. I am starting to get really excited with almost a month left to go.

Sept 23 - Day 58 - 37 F watered to runoff with ½ tsp cal-mag in 1/2 gal water. Broke my ph meter so just hoping it all works out. Sept 27 - Day 62 - 41 F watered to runoff ½ tsp cal-mag, ½ tsp tiger bloom, 3 tsp big bloom in 1/2 gal water. Ph 6.6 ppm 1220. I have been super busy so I haven't been able to document as much as I wanted too. She is getting fatter every week and leaves are yellowing bit by bit. Should have only a couple more weeks left before harvest but I will start checking the trichomes mid week 10. Only got one picture this week unfortunately. Will get more in week 10 for which has already started since I am documenting late!

We are getting close! 50/50 clear/cloudy trichomes as of Day 49 Flower. Big fan leaves are dropping big time. I wasn't able to slow the yellowing as much as I hoped but now she is getting close, so I am not concerned anymore. Oct 1 - Day 66 - 45 F watered to runoff with ½ tsp cal-mag. New ph meter doesn't seem to be working properly. May need to invest in a nice one finally. Oct 5 - Day 70 - 49 F - watered to runoff ½ tsp cal-mag, ½ tsp tiger bloom, 3 tsp big bloom. Ph 6.8 ppm 1220.

Oct 9 - Day 74 - 53 F -watered to runoff with ½ tsp cal-mag. Didn’t check the PH this time around but she still looks mostly happy, I am having problems with my new PH meter. I am hoping the soil buffers my PH for the most part, plus this is the last week before harvest. Another fun grow down and learning more and more every time!

Had a good time growing this one but just not a fan of the fast development. I will come back soon with a more detailed analysis of the taste once it has cured for a good month. Also, bitter is not part of the section of flavor profiles but it's common with grapefruit strain.
