Welcome to week one of my new grow! Very happy and excited that all three Chempie seeds popped!
Girls are currently in a light mix containing Coco Coir, Fine Vermiculite, Perlite, Volcanic Rock Dust, Bone Meal, Gypsum & Fermented probiotic bran.
I am planning to use 0 nutrients during this grow! Mainly foliar feeds and compost teas! Stay tuned to see how it goes :)
the little ones are doing okay, stretched hard for light and eventually lowered it to 60cm above the girls with the light dimmed to 120W, settling in very nicely! will start folair feeds next week
Really happy with the first week
Week two starting off solid, growth has been really good thus far! Thinking of transplanting these girls out at the end of this week into their final pots.
Girls got their first foliar spraying of some EM1 which the girls took to very well! They will be transplanted in the coming days into their final 20L pots
Girls will probably get transplanted later this week, doubt id use these size pots to germinate in again. Takes too long for roots to fill it up nicely, much prefer a solo cup.
Girls were moved into their final pots on day 19. 20L Fabric pots filled with organic living soil by Organics Matter containing:
Organic Compost, Vermicompost (worm castings), Sphagnum Peat Moss, Coco Coir, Perlite, Biochar, Kelp Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Bone Meal, Soft Rock Phosphate, Insect Frass, Dolomite Lime, Gypsum, Basalt Rock Dust, Zeolite, Malted Barley, Diatomaceous Earth, Humic Acid
Top dressed the soil with some malted barley and then added an alfalfa mulch layer
hoping they recover from the shock quickly and start putting on size!
Girls have struggled this week, transplant shock hit them hard. removed mulch layer to allow for some more air at the roots which helped alot! Going to give them a bit of time to recover before applying some again.
Girls have recovered nicely, started to get into a watering schedule & they are picking up although #2 continues to be a runt, hopeful she surprises in flower! Everyone is topped and waiting for clones to root before i flip to flower
Each got feedings of some Microbes and humic acids to promote the microbial activity
Girls have taken off and enjoying their surroundings right now, tent is almost filled, ive started defoliating in prep for flower!
Girls are happy getting plain ph'd water right now, will brew up a compost tea to inoculate the soil thoroughly before the flip
Ive reapplied the alfalfa mulch layer, added some grass clippings and straw too. Top dressed with some bokashi and watered in
The girls have filled my space very nicely! i'm heavy handed on the defol trying to optimize bud sites & trying my best to keep everything even as i know these girls will stretch hard!
Girls have been enjoying plain water and foliar sprays including EM1
Into the second week of flower and have not seen much stretch in these girls yet. All are showing pistils, I am defoliating a lot to maintain an even canopy.
Girls received their first compost tea and a good top dressing of malted barley.
Pistils development is continuing strong. Looking forward to some more stretching
They ended their week really good, flowering is slowly getting there. Still haven’t seen much stretch from these. #2 is noticeably shorter thus far, with #1 showing the most flower development
Girls have been looking great! Still continuing with defol, patiently waiting for some more stretch. Pistil development is starting
Saw a little bit of stretch from these girls later in the week. I was expecting a lot more stretch though. Hopefully we get some in week 4!
Girls got their second compost tea on day 20.
Since the last update, Chempie #2, is still towering above the other two but has caught up and started producing some serious frost.
Since spraying the plants to try and rid of WPM one last time, some of the pistils on these girls have been burnt. The contrast between the green and orange looks insane though. #1 and #3 are still ahead in terms of bud production, their buds are well on their way to being very fruitful.
Mainly getting OG terps off these girls, particularly gas/earthy.
Week 7 update :
Finally feeling like I’m getting close to the end with these girls!
CP#3 has really started showing off compared to the other two girls. I’m seeing a fair amount of cloudy trichomes on her and the underside of her leaves has started to fade out. She’s the frostiest of them all so far!
CP#2, on the other hand, is struggling due to Wpm. It’s clear that the plant took a bit of a toll bc of this.
CP#1 is the bud beast, her buds have not stopped swelling and are looking very inviting
Towards the end of week three to about the middle of the 3rd week she will stretch good in that's time frame the first 9 days you don't get much she got a lot more to give. mine I was worried about same time has you but she took off towards the end of week 2 of flower
