I just got my hands on a new Bluelab PH meter and ditched the old cheap PH meter I had. I quickly realized how far off the readings were from my old PH meter. It badly needed a calibration from all the use. No wonder my PH readings were all over the place the last couple of weeks, Probably may have been a huge part of the deficiency issues I was having. She is off to a great start this week, She is taking really well to the light scrog training and her bud sights are all pointing towards the lights! She is def. bouncing back strong, and there is a ton of healthy new white root production exploding form the net cups. Added a 150W HPS to supplement the 250W LED. Both 3" away So far it looks like they are loving this setup! Going to start incorporating bloom nutes at next res change.

I'd love to help. Please include your nutrients when documenting the diary. It's possible judging from your last weeks nutrients that you may have overdone it just a bit. I'd suggest changing the reservoir water with PH balanced 6 water and just flush them for a day. Trim off the damaged leaves. Then re-add nutrients in a smaller ratio after a 2 days to help cleanse everything and get her back on track.

@Shydro,I feel you. Thrown in the deep end without knowing how to swim. Once I figured a few things out everything fell into place.

@Shydro, This is the best help I can offer. I know this website seems like a gag but it can be very helpful. http://www.growweedeasy.com/marijuana-symptoms-pictures

I've been keeping my ppm up between 750-950. Not sure how the nutes differ with that though.

@BigDaddyK, Thanks for checking out my grow, Appreciate the help! For nutrients I am using the NPK RAW line. This is what is in each DWC res now: 5.5 Gallons of Distilled water: 0PPM 4G - NPK RAW Cal/Mag: about 125 PPM 5G - NPK RAW Grow: about 150 PPM 1G - NPK RAW Phosphorus: about 25PPM 3G - NPK RAW Grow Microbes: 0PPM 5ML - Botanicare Hydroguard: 0PPM --------------------------------------------- About 300 PPM total nutrient solution Yes. I had one of those long flexible air stones in each res, Although I noticed they weren't working as well as I'd like with creating bubbles, so I just picked up a couple of those large soda can air stones tonight and just put them in the res instead. Huge difference in bubble creation right away. I appreciate any tips or suggestions from your experience with DWC. Thanks!

What is the ph ? Could be over 7.5 ?
Shydro
Shydrocommented7 years ago
@BigDaddyK, I have been keeping on eye on the PH daily. I have been letting it drift between 5.8 - 6.2 If I ever see it lower or higher than I adjust. For the most part I end up adjusting it to 5.8 then it slowly drifts up to 6.1/6.2 then I bring it back down.

According to my chart, this appears like an iron deficiency.

I am currently using the NPK RAW Grow and Bloom nutrient line for this grow. I am using between about 1/2 and 1/3 of the recommended feeding amount based off of their feed chart. Feed chart found on their website here: http://npk-industries.com/grow_and_bloom_in_grams.html Currently in each res is the following solution: 5.5 Gallons of Distilled water: 0PPM 4G - NPK RAW Cal/Mag: about 125 PPM 5G - NPK RAW Grow: about 150 PPM 1G - NPK RAW Phosphorus: about 25PPM 3G - NPK RAW Grow Microbes: 0PPM 5ML - Botanicare Hydroguard: 0PPM --------------------------------------------- About 300 PPM total nutrient solution
