Barney's PEYOTE COOKIES

MELs_Garden August 6 We soak 5 peyote cookies from Barney's farm in a bit of water with a splash of hydrogen peroxide. August 7. Put them to germinate in a container. August 10. The seeds were moved to some shot glasses filled with coco, since we were out of jiffys. August 15. Transplanted to 1.5l pots. Moved to a box with a 250w light until they grow.

MELs_Garden August 25 They are moved to a room with a 250w HPS light on an 18/6 light/dark schedule. Watering is done with just water and generally via foliar. Stakes are placed on all the plants. All of them are healthy. Watering with water every 3 days approximately. August 29 Transplanting to 2L pots to have everything inside better set up and so that the stem can hold well without the need for a stake.

MELs_Garden They're doing well. Everything is going fine, some are stronger and others are smaller, but all are healthy. They're in the cabinet where the heat issues have been fixed and the place is in optimal conditions. Watering alternates between water and nutrients.

MELs_Garden Day 10 We cut the top half of 2 plants above the third node and stripped from there down. With some gardening wires, we separated the two shoots to start the main-lining. We do an apical trim on one. We do a FIM on another. We leave one as is.

MELs_Garden Starts flowering. Day 18 transplanted to 11L pots. My phone camera broke and I haven't been able to take photos lately, leaving a picture of my last plant.

MELs_Garden Well.... Several issues: We left the plants in the flowering room for 12 hours while we set up the growing room, but due to a lack of time, it wasn't finished on time and the plants started to flower.. as a consequence, they ended up stunted.. mistake. On the other hand, my phone camera broke and I haven't been able to take photos for two weeks.. mistake again. Other than that, the plants are doing well and look healthy.

MELs_Garden All good, all correct. 10/16 Watering was done with nutrients.

MELs_Garden From October 17 to 23: October 22 The temperatures have dropped, and you can feel it indoors, which is appreciated. The temperatures are around 25/27 °C with the light on and about 20/22 °C with the light off. October 23: Watering with enzymes.

MELs_Garden (From October 24 to 30) October 26: We did watering with flowering booster and PK. October 29: We did watering with flowering booster.

MELs_Garden From November 1 to 6: November 1: Watering with flowering stimulant and Bloom. November 4: The buds are no longer going to fatten up and there's not much time left, so we're going to start using only water. Today we watered with water.

MELs_Garden From November 7 to 13: November 9: Light watering with enzymes. November 10: We do a root wash, watering with about 20 liters per pot. Once it dries, we will harvest the girls.

MELs_Garden From November 13 to 19: November 14: Everything is going well, we will harvest over the next 3 days, as needed.

MELs_Garden November 16: We harvested the peyote cookies. The truth is that despite everything they've been through, they yielded well. The buds are very compact and in the last few weeks, they took on a beautiful bright red color, both the buds and the leaves. The smell is strong and quite peculiar; I wouldn't know how to describe it. November 24: We finished drying and moved on to curing. They look amazing. November 29: We're opening the jar about 3 times a day for the first week and 2 times the second week. The aroma is incredible, the buds look great, and the weed is awesome. It's still not fully cured, but these are the conclusions I'm drawing so far: The buds look compact and full of resin, some have a beautiful purple shine. When you smell it, it hits you hard; it's a very strong smell that I can't quite describe, must be the peyote. When you smoke it, your mouth fills with that peculiar flavor and it leaves you coated; when you exhale, the taste lingers and transitions to a sweet flavor that personally reminded me of eating a pastry in a bakery, simply delicious. I can't say much about the effect because I've only tried it once; I want to wait until it's fully cured, but it hits you hard. After a couple of hits, you realize it's starting to kick in; it left me a bit disoriented until my smile went into automatic mode. Soon after, it made me get up from the couch and gave me the urge to clean with the music blasting. After a couple of hours when the high wore off, it left me bent over.
