I had them in these Petti Pot whatever these things are called. I was moving them from outside on my balcony (east), to my bedroom window (west) to get lots of light. Moved it around while I could/ when I got home. Distilled water. Guaranteed I over watered these. The soil was soaking the entire time they were seedlings. deeerp.

Grow Questions

I prepped my Stepwell Super Soil (500ml/G of soil) with water and mixed before planting. I'm unsure how wet the bottom of the bucket is 30 days later. My plant is using 1L of water per day. How could I check the soils wetness? Would watering until run off help growth rate?

Well that is one awesome looking plant very healthy takes to training well over the weeks you've grown her .do you have drainage holes big enough in bottom ? Soil wetness meters I've seen don't look reliable or go to a depth that your looking at hard to say in that situation .soaking the medium to the point of runoff when she is other wise very healthy will not improve the growth rate of this girl it would probably stunt her .she looks good unless she shows signs of root problems or just started acting weird I wouldn't worry about the bottom of that pail just my though good luck

@Uberfetus, As I usually only veg for 4 weeks ( height restrictions ) I see very little advantage to growing autos. They give no recovery time and not a lot of yield compared to photoperiods. So for the sake of saving a few weeks.. I dont find it worth it. I only grew them as someone gave me the seeds. Now if i was doing scrog and 30 plants upwards... then maybe.

@Puffer_Bill, threw up some fresh pics brother! I'm going photoperiod next time. Doing 3 plants in my 3'x3'x6' tent in 7 gallons pots next time. Going to train them up REAL nice going for a wild yield!

@Uberfetus, It's better to get rid of time wasters. I had 4 autos growing alongside my 4 photoperiods... but heat got the better of things. I pulled the plug on the autos. I keep saying I wont do autos... maybe this time I have learnt my lesson. Your plant looks lush lovely. πŸ‘ŠπŸΌπŸ˜Ž

But saying that, didn't seem like you have problems here! Looks healthy and good job on training! πŸŒ±πŸ‘

@Fruitgrower, Thank you! I'm so curious to see how big this plant is going to get. I have a trellis net coming in, because I'm done tying them up everyday lol. Also the buds apparently get ridiculously large, so They'll need support.

How moist is your soil 30 days later , on the bottom of your bucket? Use a scale, or purchase a wifi plant sensor.. Water w 20 percent runoff, dont let the supersoil dry up, it will kill all your microbes. Hope this helps. Excellent job btw! πŸŒ²πŸ’¨πŸŒ²πŸ’¨πŸŒ²πŸ’¨

@FrostRailz, Thank you! I'm just going to assume that the soil in the bottom is wet/damp because there is nothing to evaporate it. Either way, this plant is healthy, so fk it. It ain't broke, I ain't fixing it. :)
