This is their progress one week after being planted into the soil. All 4 of the plants seem to be growing very quickly with the exception of one, she took a little bit longer than the rest to break through the topsoil.
Transplanted the girls into bigger pots, the roots were winding at the bottom of the plastic cups that they were in and the bottom set of leaves started to yellow on some of the plants so that's what prompted the transplant and the introduction of nutrients to the grow
I noticed that the plants hadn't been growing much taller so I brought the light up to 34" above the top of the plant. I don't think I let them strerch enough as seedlings, other than that they seem to be doing fine.
I was a little freaked out last week when they seemed to have really slowed down in their growth, I'm happy with how they are performing now.
Any tips and pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Saw a lot of growth over the last week. Bumped all of them up to .5L of water a day and introduced Bloom into my nutrients regiment.
Switched the light to a more sunlight looking light last night, the other one will be going into the budding tent when the time comes.
I'm having fun and learning a lot as I grow. Lots of growth in the last week, they seem to be getting taller every day. I'm going to let them all veg until they get bigger but they are all coming along very well.
I still have a lot to learn but I'm loving every minute of it. Found out that I was over watering my plants, thankfully the strain has a resistance to root rot so I've slowed up on that. I installed fans in the tent to get some air moving to keep them cool and help stress them a bit.
The tallest of the plants is now 13 inches, the shortes around 9. Now that I won't be over watering them I'm hoping to see them grow taller in a shorter time frame.
Was told by a friend that I was getting nutrient burn on some of the leaves so I flushed the plants with clean water, now I'll leave them for a few days and see how they cope with the changes.
The last week before I flip them into bloom. I'm seeing a lot of cracks in the leaves I'm hoping that is from the over watering and the ensuing drought that I gave them to stop but we'll see.
I've checked the plants over for bugs and have seen none so we'll see how the coming weeks treat the girls.
Some of the leaves are still showing problems but I'm confident that the plants will do just fine as they haven't stopped growing new growth. I'm working on setting up another tent so I can give the girls some more room to gro properly as I'm seeing a lot of crouding in their current home.
Last week of veging wrapping up as we speak. I gave them a trim to have them ready for budding and they'll get a blast of nutrients when I feed them tonight.
First week of budding is in the books now. I wasn't really sure what to expect but it looks like I've got some bud and trichome development on all 4 of the girls, a lot more noticeable on the larger ones for sure
Just finishing up the second week of budding here. The girls have grown a bit over the last few weeks and I've neglected to measure the heights and update them, the height in this diary is of the tallest of the 4. I'm really starting to see some bud development now, starting to really get excited about the results of this grow!
Bumped up the big bud to 4mg per l, seeing some good effects on the larger plants, the smaller two are getting a bit of burn, I'll have to right that in the next watering
Was seeing a fair amount of burn on some of the leaves before trimming them back so I dropped the big bud down to 2mg per L. The girls have grown a lot and I'm loving the smell they are giving off now, the tent is getting very berry.
Starting to see some nice bud development on all of them and the pistils are starting to turn orange. I'm getting very excited as I get closer and closer to harvest!
There is a big range in size of the plants which I find pretty cool because they have all gotten the same treatment from the start. Still my first grow, can't wait for round 2!
We are coming down to the final weeks of the grow and the girls are really starting to smell very berry!
The buds seem to be nice and dense and the pistils seem to be turning from a nice white to a beautiful orange.
Only one more week to go before the flush!!
On my future Grow Diaries I'll try and be more exact. A lot of the specs haven't been changed in weeks as I'm in the midst of a move.
I'd be letting them go atleast another 2 to 3 weeks before thinking bout flushing you will find they will get atot larger than they are now 😉 jus looking at last week to this week these girls still got alot ta do yet man
@Seedtoweed, Yeah I've seen pictures and they still have a fair amount of developing left to do. I guess I'm just getting excited about the next step in the process. They are all photoperiod no autos in this crop. I'll see how the week grows and go from there
@OGJesus,Google mob n have a squiz at images 😉 I always do this when I'm deciding on a strain or wanting a rough idea of what my girls gonna look like ,this looks like a beautiful strain with some good weight potential if let go it's full time which is still min 8 weeks from switch to 12/12
Lol might buy a couple myself after looking the strain up 😂🤣
WOW! Beautiful plants bro! I am also a first time grower. I am running 420 Fast Buds Blue Dream'atic. You should check it out! I Can't wait to see your full harvest!
Keep up the good work!😃
It is my understanding that you need to use those nutrients as a 3 part system to get proper ph. No matter how little or much you use, it needs to be 3 equal parts.
Looking nice n lush always a good thing going into flower fingers crossed and enjoy the journey my friend its the best feeling watching those flowers grow 😉
Over all they look quiet nice mate they will do just fine there pretty tuff ive taken girls that look alot worse through no dramas in the end
I have one at the moment that neaut locked bad when i flipped her into flower n i pulled it out of coco chucked in dirt 4 days later cracked shits at it pulled it out literally screwed it up in a ball and threw it outside down the back of my veggie box n a week later walked past notice a heap of branches had somehow unscrewed themselves n where sticking up happy as larry so i cut a heap of it off except those branches and repotted back into coco the plant looked terrible lol the main stem is split right open from where it was folded in half lol but now 2 weeks later that plant has huge knuckles crappy looking older leaves but is starting to absolutely pump out flowers like a champion 😂🤣 so yeah id say yours will be just fine
