TuPuff Hi friends and welcome to my diary for @Silky_Smooth s SoloCup challenge! π
I must say I am participating for fun and not sure how successful I will be at this mission, the growing cup is very small and I am not around 24/7 to tend to her every need, but I will give it my best shot!
I have to apologize to @greenhouseseeds for turning such a majestic strain into a bonsai, π the first challenge for me will be to get at least one or two cuttings from the shark, so that she can get grown into a nice outdoor bush at some stage.
I chose this freebie as it is a nice old strain from Greenhouse and should produce some nice sized nuggets if I can care for her well enough.
Stoked to be a part of this challenge and community, happy growing yall, peace and love!
- Day 6 - The little Great White Shark got chosen on her 6th day to partake in SilkySmooths SoloCup challenge. The plant said, and quote "Bring it on!" π
-Day 7 - Just watering the container with a water sprayer at the moment, plant looks happy after the transplant.

I cover the see through pot with some tinfoil to protect the roots from the darkness.
The little plant is growing well, I will try to meet all her needs this week, wish me luck!
Happy growing!

TuPuff Week 4 and the Little Great Shark has already sent roots right to the bottom of the pot.
Nothing much happening except for half-strength feeding from GHE, will keep a close eye on her water usage.
Happy growing!

TuPuff This week was a bit tough for the Little Great White Shark, there was higher heat than usual and I suspect that she is pretty pot bound now.
I will up the dosage of the nutrients and see if it helps her get some color back into the leaves.
She is n very pretty plant, I love the leaves and really hope that I will manage to get a cutting from her.
Happy growing everybody, thanks for the reading.

TuPuff Not too much to report on this week, I fed her with some organic nutrients and some kelp to get her a bit more healthy.
For some reason, the GHE nutrient range works better with plants that are already established (in soil mix), from my limited experience so far.
Should I get her on top form again I think I will consider to flip.
Happy growing everybody! π

TuPuff Apologies for the late update, the picture was taken on the 2nd of October.
This week I resumed the GHE feeding at half strength, she responded well and looking nice and healthy.
I am thinking about putting her into flowering, not sure if it will be outside or inside though.
Happy growing yall, till next time!

TuPuff What's up guys and gals, missed out an update last week and can't believe I have been vegging this little great shark in a cup for 9 weeks now!
I will hopefully be able to get at least 4-minute clones off the bottom of the plant at some point, and then I should get onto the flip, not sure how much more she can take being a bonsai.
I will up the feeding to full strength this week as it is getting tough to get rid of deficiencies with the current nutrient strength.
The roots are looking healthy, I will be sure to get a shot of them next time!
Happy growing, thanks for visiting my diaries. ππ
@Silky_smooth, awesome thanks for letting me know, I have some small drainage holes poked in the bottom, if the roots get out there ill have to trim them.
The bottom feeding will really help me when I am away for a day, I should be able to tend to her every 2 days at least.
Those little nugs sound great, bet they are bursting with flavour from a bonsai life.
Excited to see if I can get that far as well!
Peace and love, thanks again for the extra infos, fun fun fun, best damn hobby in the world!
ππ
@TuPuff,if you could only smell her if i make a cut or handle her she smells like that pink bubblicious bubblegum mixed with something fruity simply wonderfully complexπ±
@CRiSPrGrow, thanks a lot I really appreciate it! I hope to learn a bit from this while having fun at the same time! This week already some deficiencies, level up time ππ
@Silky_smooth, thanks a lot, I am hoping I can get a clone off her before I flip but might be high hopes ππ
The soil has dropped quite a bit, thinking I will top her up with coco coir to help with water retention and also a bit of extra root space!
Highest blessings to you and your fam Silky, peace.
