This girl had a stall in growing for a few weeks and has now picked up and grown about 7cm in the last few days. Outdoors and being a newbie are all elements making a growth challenging and understanding what the girls need is vital for them to have a good life
October 5 - More LST training for my gorilla auto, I've managed to keep it very low, below 5 inch and is now 2x wider that she was before training her 👌👌👌
As she has responded quite well to the initial LST, I have opened her up a lil more, so more light will go across those branches that would be in the shade without training
Very pleased with this girl, she wasn't growing at the beginning probably due to weather conditions inappropriate (very hot and dry) and when temps went a bit down she finally started growing.
LSTd her and she didn't show the smallest sign of stress and now she starts flowering. Couldn't be more pleased with her 😊
She keeps eing strong and flowering, definitely liking the cooler weather yet with a good warming sun. Have added some organic flowering booster so I can get the best out of her
Strong characteristic diesel smell has finally developed! She is coming along nicely, luckily soon to be harvested since weather isn't that good anymore, with temperatures falling and humidity levels inappropriate. She is a strong girl so hopefully she will get to the end with no issues 🤞
Have lost a branch due to bud rot...expected since the season isn't that good anymore, wet and chilly and the girl is feeling it.
Have flushed her with loads of water and will harvest in a couple of days to avoid rot taking over the whole plant.
@Bashgrowsitall1989, lots of wrong thing 😂 am new with growing started my 2 plants ever in May this year, outdoor autos, they gave me great yield for knowing nothing about growing. This gorilla is basically the 3rd plant I've been growing....wrong soil, wrong season (it was too hot and extremely dry) and she did struggle. Ever since I've planted her my knowledge has exponentially increased.
I've been learning training techniques, and using the correct equipment, starting from the soil (I use biobizz now), the plants outdoors thanks to weather and improvements I've made taking care of them, are doing great and I finally have had a tent set up indoors.
Growing outdoors is really hard comparing g to indoors in a totally controlled environment.
I still will grow outdoors when the season allows it 🙂
@NellaGanjA, Well that's very strange that it stunted from the beginning, have u worked out if it was anything you may have done? I have one plant in my diary that I first put down as being a nitrogen deficiency - I gave her a nice feed and coffee grounds and that didnt help the colour at all, so I then put it down too light stress, then my local grow shop guy told me it looked hungry - what I'm getting st as it every too determine what's wrong sometimes!
@Bashgrowsitall1989, thank you mate, the lst saved her, she was very small and poorly for quite a while and after I LSTd her, she's started growing. It's an auto, am really impressed by the recovery she's done 🙂
@Mickymouse, I must say, it is a good light but it heats up big time (not a good thing IMO) and drivers could only be separated from the light by doing some work that would make the warranty void.
The components of the one I have are unbranded.
If you have some DIY skills you could build a great quality light that couldn't really be compared to the low cost range ones
