So excited for this grow! seems like a pretty slow start tho. humidity fluctuates a-lot and I cant really control it since the tent is on the balcony. I'm at the mercy of nature
So far I use a spray bottle to keep the surface of the soil wet. I hit them twice a day, 10-20ML each time.
Growing in Pro-mix HP in a 2.5 x 2.5 ft tent with Toronto Tap water
Its very hard to control temperature in the tent. The temperature fluctuates with outdoor conditions and my light Increases the temperature in the tent by 4-5 Degree C.
I started a half dose of Advanced nutrients Micro (15~ drops in a litre of water)
I started some LST this week, I'm not sure if I started too early? They are sooo soft to bend and mould.
Humidity fluctuating between 40%-70%
Day 18: FIM'd White Widow
Day 21: FIM area already grew 3 new tops in a speedy 3 day recovery
Great week, they doubled in size, Starting to pre-flower this week
White widow is the smelliest girl in the tent. Almost smells like something edible, it makes me hungry lol
FIM'd White widow grew 3 nice tops, Gelato grew 5 tops.
Feeding 15 drops (1.5 ml) of Micro and Grow nutrients in 500 ml of water
Day 28: Pre Pistils forming and tops are starting to flower
First week of flowering!! I’m glad to have 4 weeks of veg and start flowering. It’s August 17th and this tent can only be out on my balcony until the end of September to early October. So I have about 6-9 weeks of flower time before it’s too cold.
I feed 1L every other day with an 8-10ml per litre of the 3 nutes I’m using
Good week . Defoliated some dead leaves near the bottom I think it’s nutrient lockout. I also flushed them with 4-5l of water until the runoff cleared out some nutrients
Day 5 since the flush and the soil is still soaked
Great start to the week. Buds starting to develop. Introduced Unsulphered Blackstrap Molasses this week in the feeding. It was freezing for the first time 11C at night. Night time is starting to scare me, it gets humid and cold. I might have to bring the whole operation inside
After the end of week 8 I Brought the whole set up inside !
White widow smells like classic Kush . It smells very appetizing like food.
The humidity is much more stable at 55%RH
Love the setting.
I have had to deal with night time temps like that the whole summer (9-11C 48-51F) That alone wont hurt as its only that temp a coupe of hours. Your plant is mature, its pretty tough BUT if you can take it inside at night you will sleep better. :)
Good luck
Looking great!! I grew in an outdoor tent once (covered patio) in early spring and it was a constant MacGyver fest for southern California with cool temps and high humidity.
