|DAY 37| Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well today (: I have a special announcement, my first crossing was successful! I used my favorite SSH pheno as the mother and a stud Primal Punch male. I can't wait to jump in this diary with you guys. I have to mention something before I get into the update. I had eye surgery a week ago for a condition called Keratoconus (which in time will cause me to go blind). Fortunately my surgery went well though my vision is very blurry. I have about 27 more weeks of healing to go, so I might have a hard time updating every week, I'll do my best! Okay, now I'll get into the topics for today's update (: |TOPICS| ⚪ Weekly Update ⚪ Parents ⚪ Plan |WEEKLY UPDATE| First off I have good news and bad news. 👍🏻 Good News My little ones look very healthy, I'm very excited to have 100% germination for the 12 beans I popped so far. As for phenos there are four specimens in particular that pique my interest. Dense, fast growing, fat little babies that are dominating the others in structure alone. 👎🏻 Bad News Spider mites "Borg" have struck again! I also lost the SSH mom's due to high temps and mites, I couldn't do much last week due to my surgery so these girls were a bit neglected. I took the healthiest cutting, hope it roots.. don't want this pheno to end here. I also had to cut down all my mothers and males, (all strains) too tall, dehydrated, and mite infested. It’s been a hard week, but fortunately these little ones have been healthy and pulled through beyond my expectations. There are some mutations present, asymmetrical leaves, and missing or melded fingers. This will limit what phenos I choose to reproduce for F2 generations. Other than some of these mutants I'm impressed with the the sturdy structure of this crossing. This is definitely an indica dominant strain, fat fingers and thick under growth. I'm curious if this cross will be stimulating or more towards the sedating side. |PARENTS| ♂️ Male (PP #5) The male is a massive, vigorous beast that needs a lot of space to stretch! The smell from this absolute unit is a strong, gassy, lemon pledge citrus bomb! Early pollen production, a week before females developed flowers. ♀️ Female (SSH #4 "Tanya") My favorite Silver pheno to date! This girl has a tendency to produce tall colas with dense, sweet smelling buds. The terp profile smells similar to grape skittles, like the ones from the 90's (: |PLAN| Coming soon...
