I guess this would technically be week 0. I started the process of germination today (8/24/19). The plan originally was to germinate in the pot and soil it would run its full cycle in, but due to shipping issues on some parts for the space tote, that was not able to happen. I made the decision to get germination started while I wait for the parts to finish the space tote, and then I will transplant once the build is complete. The soil its in currently is the same as the soil it will be in once the tote is finished. I lightly saturated the soil, made the hole the seed went into, dusted the hole with the great white Mycorrhizae, let it soak into the soil, and placed the seed in. I took a bit more soil and loosely packed it into the hole. Once it is time to transplant after germination from the solo cup, to its final home, I will be dusting the hole that i make for the plant. I will update as more happens. Day 4 (8/28/19): woke up this morning to see that the seed has popped and sprouted! Day 5 (8/29/19): I have yet to measure, but Id say the seedling is currently sitting at about 3 inches. I am super excited that the majority of what I am waiting on to complete the space bucket, with the rest of it being in the following day. The seedling is doing really well (to what I am used to judging a seedling on), so I cannot wait to give it what it deserves. I am aiming to have her in her final home by the 31st. If everything goes according to plan, that is absolutely achievable. Wish me luck!

Week 2: She’s really starting to take off now. I ended up adding mor soil around the stem and leaving her in the cup for now. I didn’t feel like it was the right time to transplant her. She gotten her second set of true leaves and they are coming in nicely. She has had two feedings at (roughly) quarter strength. Day 13: I took the humidity dome off today. Let’s see how she does.
