I_and_I Still just setting up the grow at this point, reading and researching info across the board on everything to do with growing,
Very basic setup at this point, using a terrible Chinese blurple light only etc

I_and_I New light installed, twice as powerful as before but still a cheap light I've yet to learn fully
Like the first batch of seeds to germinate, I again get a strange 'quad' seedling, 4 embryo leaves, then attempts to grow it's first 4 leaves instead of 2 also, growth is severely stunted in both seedlings to start with 4 embryo leaves after seed popped

I_and_I About to go on holiday for two weeks, my mate looks after them like a boss,
By now I know a lot more About light and realise I need another light especially for flowering, the plan is to order a 240w quantum board, 301b Samsung chips just as I go on holiday to take delivery on return, this takes a bit longer than expected to order light, I leave for holiday around end of week 5 veg

I_and_I Crazy variety of smells now, so from smells and bud formation, I'm guessing I have one gg4, one amnesia and possibly something like a sour diesel

I_and_I The different strains become more apparent by the day now, clearly some are going to take longer to finish than others

I_and_I Disaster strikes, I find bud rot in a couple of the biggest colas of the centre plant, I remove the colas, salvage what I can, i now understand I have too little airflow for the number of plants in the tent, I am vigilant with looking for more bud rot, which I find in the biggest colas of the small stout indica plant, I presume its mostly indica from its shape, I remove, salvage and begin to dry what I can save
I install another more powerful fan on max speed with acoustic duct to keep fan on max speed, I install another fan to blow across the plants 5oo, humidity drops, everything looks good again to go forward, no further signs of bud rot

I_and_I Things going well again, the absolute dismay and fear of finding bud rot spreading through two plants has faded now, haha, the new air circulation setup seems to be doing the job
Oddly I've made it through the whole grow to this point without any nutrient burn of the leaves but now that I begin to flush a little nute burn shows up on one plant, must have been some residual salts, only one or two are affected at all :)

I_and_I Chopped the purple fruit/diesel smelling plant
These names I just came to know them as, if I can place a smell and taste from memory I've used that
-Runt plant, 35g, some sort of stardawg mix
-Face punch, 73g, small dense indica, hit hard, cerebral
-Sour agent orange, 60g, some sort of agent orange diesel Cross, possibly cheesiel x varient, BEST smell taste ever, no joke, like a fruit gasoline mix
-jaffa, 54g, could be straight up jaffa rather than a cross, super strong
-Middle, 57g, named middle plant because it was in the middle of the tent, cant place the smell or taste
-OG kush, 50g, had og kush a fair few times over the years, must have had a seed, im pretty sure it's OG this 1
-Purple Thing, 55g, named for its looks, suspect its captains cake or at least part captains cake
-Amnesia, 88g, it smelled like amnesia when growing but not so sure now its dry
-GG#4, 85g, I've got tons of gorilla glue seeds I was keeping till second grow but one must have gotten into this mix, no complaints!, insane potency

I_and_I First grow completed, turned out far better than I could ever have hoped, the plants totally bossed it for all the winging it and improvising I put them through, but we got there in the end haha,
Looking forward to next grow, can't wait to enjoy using all good genetics, already have some Bruce banner #3 seeds ready to roll out :)
Thanks for reading
Nice dank buds, those the ones you had the bud rot issue? I have a buddy that gave me a plant he had in a plastic hothouse with 3 other rather large plants. This one had some large nugs but i noticed some brown leaves in the middle of some of the colas when i picked it up. Less than 12 hours later it started growing mould. It's a loss of half a pound at the end of it all. Would have been over a pound yielded. Cropped it a week early but i have my gorilla in the same tent, a ice fishing tent. Wasn't going to risk the spores getting on "mavis", my wife named our royal gorilla plant.... lol. My portable ac unit keeps it cool at night and it keeps the humidity below 40.
@GorillaGrowin, thanks mate :) it was about halfway through week 8 I had the bud rot in two plants in the centre of the tent, at the time they were the biggest colas, both indica shaped plants, very dense colas surrounded by a ring of mini colas, further hindering air circulation, also the weather went through a warm wet patch here, there was a period of heavy heavy rain all week plus unusually warm temps, including at night, I'm in Scotland so it's generally pretty cold at night but was sitting around 15C at night, the perfect temperatures for botrytis/bud rot, plus the inadequate air circulation and weak extractor fan, I caught it fairly early, and watched them like a man possessed whilst I arranged better air ventilation, over 4-5 days I found it in two plants, chopped the colas and saved what I could, lost maybe a half oz odds so really not to bad, I continued to grow the plants who's colas I chopped coz they weren't ready yet, chopping in a couple days and no bud rot the two weeks since :)
Haha, good name, that's an idea, naming the plants women's names :)
Royal gorilla looks sick, been looking at the seeds, goodluck with that one
