Week 1 of these Mexican haze seeds from growers choice seeds. These were by far the fastest germinated seeds. After the 18 hours in water and another 18 hours in a damp plate with towel they had a long sized taproot. Not much information on this strain so I have no idea what is to come but hopefully it's all good.
So these girls all survived the 1st week very well. And will be transplanted into a 5 gallon pot of fox farm ocean forest. I fed them very little big bloom and some silica blast to bring back some green as they have a very light green color. I really like the amount of stretch these plants have usually my plants come out very short and no room to work under the canopy.
Girls are having some discoloration but i gave them more food hopefully that fixes the issue. If that does not fix it then it might be the size pot they are in.(will transplant into 5 gallon with ocean forest ff soil). I topped them so they might be stressed out from that also but they seem to be recovering okay.
Alright so I believe the plants started to fade because they were root bound in the 1 gallon pot before (not enough room to grow). Because once they were moved to 5 gallons they began growing again. 2 of the plants were topped good and 1 was fimmed.(totally on purpose....) anyways these girls are doing great and am excited to see how they produce.
Alright so these girls are very temperamental when it comes to feedings. They do not seem to want food at all or maybe the burnt bottom leaves are from when they were rootbound in the 1 gallon pot. Anyways besides that they seem to handle topping and fiming very well. I fimmed 1 plant and then topped that same plant on the 2 side branches from the fim. The other 2 girls were clean tops the first time then decided to fim the 2 new tops of each plant.
Still haven't really fed these girls anything. But they seem to be growing just fine without nutes. Also the plants have recovered really well from the topping and fiming. Thinking about flipping these girls into flower some time next week.
Lollipopped the girls before flipping unlike what i did with my c99 grow. They were in veg a little longer then what I would've wanted but it will be fine. This harvest should be my last until I set up my new rooms in my new house. I will definitely be trying to grow more once i move i think i got a good understanding of growing ganja. Check out my Instagram @GrowsGanjaGuy I will start posting extras and opportunities....
I finally moved these girls into the flowering room after I saw them recover from the lollipopping. From what it looks like I will be able to widen the canopy very good because the branches are really long. I havent found much information on this strain so I'm curious how the end product will be like.
These girls are getting tall I didnt know what to expect from the stretch because of the lack of info on this strain but they all seem to be moving along great. The transition to flower was pretty quick. By end of week 10 I should already have plenty of baby buds. I think the transition was smooth because i lollipopped before flipping.
These girls are looking very promising. I'm not going to lie my c99 grow really got messed up by those thrips but I tried harvesting what I could tune into my c99 grow for that update. But these girls seem healthy besides a little nutrient deficiency. Once I take out all the c99 girls I will raise the trellis nets because they had a decent stretch. Follow me on Instagram: @growsganjaguy I will follow back 👍🏼.
Having trouble pin pointing what the issue is with these girls. The last 2 pictures are leaves burning but I havent been able to correct the issue. I will flush in a few days and see if the issue is solved but if you have any tips on what this could be help me out please.
They are getting more dense by the day and they look great. I flushed them and that seemed to stop the issue we had last week. Excited to harvest the rest of my girls they should all be done around the same time in about 2-3 weeks.
I'm not to sure what the purpling is on the buds. I dont know if that is genetics or something could be wrong. Either way they are moving along just great. I like the fact that alot of the nugs are uniform in size. They still have about 3 more weeks to finish hopefully they do dense up some more. I have 2 grow lights in this tent and the cheaper light seems to smaller and less dense nugs than the other light.
The flush has started looks like 2 of the 3 will be done at the same time. The other girl is about a week off from the others. They are coming out very frosty and I love the size of each nug. Little to no popcorn nugs all of them are very dense and packed with trichomes.
I'm really happy with the lollipop training I did with this girl. This time I really minimized the amount of popcorn nugs. They are are very average sized nugs that are super frosty. I cut a girl down yesterday 2 left cant wait to see the finished product
I would recommend topping, lst, fiming, and scrog for these genetics. I also think lollipopping helped to reduce the amount of baby nugs. I veged these girl for a while almost 2 months but it was so work it in the end. Overall I think this is a good way to end my season. It will be a while before I start my new setup as I am moving but I hope to come back better. Stay tuned people!
