Small Tent Sour Livers

9/25 - Sour Livers seed sprouted today so in the soil it went! I'm really excited to try out my new set up. Quite the upgrade from my bucket (but she did treat me well!) And I'm excited to finally try out Mephisto. Setup is a "600W" Mars Hydro LED, with a supposed true wattage output of around 280W. The tent is 24"x24"x48".

10/7 - Day 11 - coming along well, should be time to water again tomorrow. Think I might add some cal-mag, just to get ahead of that as I've ran in to deficiencies with that my last 2 grows. 10/10 - Day 14 - actually waited until today to water, added cal-mag. Coming along nicely!

10/15 - Day 19 - plant is coming along great! Upped my nutes a little bit this watering, so hopefully it's not too much. Added in cal-mag again too. Will probably start LST soon. 10/17 - Day 21 - showing early signs of flowering

10/19 - Day 23 - looking healthy as can be. However, the huge fan leaves are covering up a bunch of bud sites. I'm not sure if I should cut those off already. It just seems so early and I don't want to do anything to stunt her growth or anything, but I'm sure those bud sites would love the light. Dilemmas... 10/21 - Day 25 - I have poor impulse control :/. Decided to just go ahead and take a few fan leaves off... And then a few more... Welp, bud sites certainly have more light now. I watered as well, so hopefully it won't stunt her too bad and she'll perk back up in a few days. If she recovers well, I might still do some LST, we'll see. 10/22 - Day 26 - took the haircut like a champ! Recovered great, now I'll just let her go for a while and probably LST eventually.

10/26 - Day 30 - Showing signs of nitrogen toxicity so I turned down the nutes big time, down to 1/4 strength of the trio. That's it. She got affected by the tox more than my other plant, leaves got real twisty and she fell behind growth wise as well. But all in all, she still looks healthy and is coming along well. She took the first haircut well, so I trimmed some more today. Especially all the twisty leaves, those were really blocking light and airflow. 10/29 - Day 33 - still showing signs of nitrogen toxicity but otherwise coming along nicely.

11/3 - Day 38 - still showing signs of nitrogen toxicity, and the leaves are really twisting. She's insanely dense, doesn't seem to be growing vertically at all recently, just keeps filling back up with leaves. But otherwise looks healthy. 11/7 - Day 42 - decided to give her a huge haircut, the leaves were so twisty anyways and there was no airflow or light getting to any bud sites but the few on top. She looks pretty bad here but this was right before watering so I think (hope) the drooping is mostly due to being thirsty. Plus it was shortly before her bedtime. I don't care too much about yield (I smoke like 1 Gram a week. If that) so I'm going to probably keep defoliating this girl as long as she needs it. My other plant looks like she'll get a larger haul anyways. So I don't mind experimenting.

11/11 - Day 46 - it's crazy to me how quickly she thickens back up! I just gave her that huge haircut but she's getting bushy again already. Not going to mess with her for a while though, at most some leaf tucking. Looking good otherwise, still showing signs of too much nitrogen but besides that, healthy and starting to smell nice as well. 11/13 - Day 48 - no pics today but watered, back to 1/4 strength trio and then did 1/2 strength of big bud and voodoo juice, and a bit of carboload as well. She's still so crazy bushy. Not growing upwards much but I don't want to stress her more and defoliate again! I tried some leaf tucking but I still worry that I'll end up with a lot of little popcorn nugs because there's no way a lot of light is penetrating. I'll keep an eye on it and reassess in a few days.

11/15 - Day 50 - real droopy, probably watered her too soon last time. But otherwise is looking ok, still crazy bushy. Hope she stretches a bit still but seems unlikely. 11/18 - Day 53 - still droopy and pot still not dry enough to water. Gonna really let her dry out as im sure the drooping is due to overwatering. Will do a plain watering next run. But she's weird, it's almost like she's stuck, not really growing much the past week. Meanwhile my other grow is exploding.

11/23 - Day 58 - still crazy dense with the leaves but she's finally starting to bulk up and I'm sure my previous haircuts contributed greatly to stunting her growth, so I'll avoid any more defoliating. It's dry enough in my tent that I don't think the lack of airflow will cause mold or anything, but I worry about ending up with lots of popcorn nugs since the lower ones won't get shit for light. But she's really stinky and still a bit droopy, but overall looking good.

11/30 - Day 65 - she's still lagging way behind. And now she's starting to show these rust spots, mostly on the main cola. Not sure what is causing it, I just hope it's not some type of mold. I have such low RH that I find that unlikely but it's just strange. Could be light burn, but she's a good 6" further from the light than my other plant, who isn't showing any of those symptoms. I did have a few plain waterings before this last one, so maybe she was just hungry? I'm not sure, definitely concerns me though. Gave her another haircut cuz fuck it, why not at this point. Get some light to those popcorn nugs and hope she bulks up a lot over the next few weeks. We'll see.

12/8 - Day 73 - still not sure what's going on with her, especially the main cola. I hope it won't be something unhealthy when it comes time to smoke, and it's just cosmetic. But she's starting to bulk up a bit, getting more sparkly and stinky. It's crazy how quickly she thickened back up too, luckily most bud sites are above the thickets now. I hope she keeps doing well, well behind schedule but let's see how she looks in a few weeks.

12/17 - Day 82 - she seems to have recovered well, I haven't noticed too much spreading of whatever it is that happened to my main cola. But she still seems weeks away, so I will just let her go. Still so dense with foliage, but don't want to stress her any more. And my RH is super low, so I'm not concerned about mold or anything. I wonder when she'll be ready, longest I've had an Auto go yet.

12/22 - Day 87 - chugging along, getting really sticky now. Tied her sides down a little bit to get some light on the smaller buds but she's just such a wild beast. The foliage is so dense, so not matter what I do, some just won't get much. but I don't want to defoliate again, she's had enough stress in her life. I'll just ride it out. Did a plain watering today, will give nutes again next time. Still feel like she's a few weeks away at least. 12/27 - Day 92 - unfortunately no new pics today. Watered with nutes and buds are still sprouting lots of white hairs and even some light green at the tips, so I'll let her go for a bit longer.

12/28 - Day 93 - watered yesterday with nutes, but she's almost ready. Getting some new greenery and white pistils, but the majority of her is almost ready. So I think next water will be no nutes and then probably chop her in a week or so. Seems like she got a few more of those random spots, but not sure whats causing it. I still doubt it's mold, my humidity is just so crazy low. Maybe that's causing it? I dunno hopefully she still smokes ok!

1/2 - Day 98 - did a plain watering 3 days ago. Then a day or two later, lots of new green growth and white pistils all of the sudden popped up on the nugs! Not sure what's happening there, but going to continue with the plain water and plan to chop in about a week or so. I feel like shes getting a lot sparklier and odiferous as well. Looking forward to smoking this one for sure! Sticky as all hell too. 1/7 - Day 103 - one more plain watering, last one. Will be cutting her down in a few days.

Completely forgot to update with my harvest. Overall not happy with how the end product came out. Buds are really fluffy and just not as pretty as they looked while growing. High is pretty decent though but overall I'm pretty disappointed.
