Hi everyone! This is my 5th diary! The original idea for this one was to grow one single plant, and focus all the energy and the entire tent on her. But with one single plant vegetative stage is longer, so i changed my mind So, after buying seeds, i'm here, growing 4 plants :D The Breeder i chose is Sensi Seeds, again, because i found it very good the last time, and i took the opportunity to buy their CBS oil ;) By the way, i decided to grow Sensiseeds' "Silver Haze" feminized, who is the star of this diary In the same tent i will also grow Green House Seeds"' "Super Silver Haze" feminized Below a short description of my equipment: The tent is one square meter big, with a 500m3/h air extractor with filter and two timers which govern it, so that the air changes once an hour I can't leave it full time turned one, because the next months it will be cold outside, and i have to take care of the temperature inside the tent The two lamps, same lamps i used before, are from Viparspectra, 400W per lamp at full power, divided between 200W for vegetative (blue light spectrum) and 200W for flowering (red light spectrum) I also have a temperature regulator, which is connected to my 1000W heater This time i also bought these new pots, 9 liters AirPot, fillet with coco and perlite (75/25) Regarding the nutrients, i bought almost everything from Advanced Nutrients (AdvN) and some components from Cellmax So, for the vegetative stage i have: - AdvN base nutrient Sensi Grow Coco (part A+B) - CellMax RootBooster for the first weeks - AdvN Piranha to increase root mass and protect the plant from diseases For the flowering stage: - AdvN base nutrient Sensi Bloom Coco (part A+B) - AdvN carboload, which contains carbohydrates to give the plant more energy for the bloom phase - AdvN Bud Ignitor - leads the plant to start earlier the buds production, with less stretch of the branches - AdvN BigBud - increase bud weight and dimensions - AdvN Overdrive - for the last two weeks of flowering - [in addition] - AdvN Bud Candy - with this, the taste of the flowers will be much sweeter And Cellmax Ph- to adjust ph level I hope to have enought time to write complete reports, with good pictures, and update the diary at least twice a week That's it, this was the introduction. Now let's start with the diary Enjoy :D =================================================== =================================================== =================================================== Starting day is 17/09, i unboxed the seeds and put them in water. After 12 hours, i pushed them on the bottom and they sunk, so i waited 12 hours more. 18/09 - Seeds have already sprouted in the water, they are amazing. So, it's time to plant them in the RootRiot 20/09 - One seed's come out, probably because i didn't plant it deep in the RootRiot, but that's good! 21/09 - Keep waching them and sprayng them multiple times a day with water (ph 7.5). 22/09 - Rootriots are in place, in the half-liter coco coir pots, with only 200W blue spectrum light. I'm keeping them wet. The small box ventilation port is half opened, to keep humidity al high level. At the moment, i gave them water (ph 6) and Cerllmax RootBooster (only 3ml/l) 23/09 - I'm spraying them with water (ph 7.5), also sprayed the walls of the box, tomorrow i will full open the ventilation port All SH seeds have broke the ground :D 24/09 - full opened the ventilation port 25/09 - Day 3 - 2 seeds haven't sprouted yet (Green House), probably they are dead. One seedling was bent over a little bit, so i put something to sustain it 28/09 - the first seedling which has sprouted is died. Probably becasue i started feeding them with nutrients too late, my fault :/ The heater also broke so the temperature for two nights was very low during the night, despite lamps were turned on (not my fault)

Week 2, it could be better. ****FROM NOW every pics have a letter, (R) is the plant on the right, (L) is the plant on the left!!**** 02/10 - Day 10 - One plant died, now i have only 3 plant. I decided to put into play another plant, so the tent is full with 4 plants in total. This is "Blue Cheese" from Dinafem. I used the paper towel method for this one: 24 hours in water, then 1 day in the paper towel and it sprouted. Planted in the coco and gave it some water. Seedling is heaty and i have 4 plants. That's good, now let's talk about Sivler Haze Started to feed them with base nutrients for growing. Also added Piranha and RootBooster 03/10 Day 11 - I removed the plastic support for the seedling in the middle, it doesn't need it anymore Now both lamps are on, 200W each in vegetative mode. Total 400W 04/10 - They seems healthy now, twice a day i feed them

09/10 Despite the mistakes with nutrients at the beginning, the plants are growing very good. In the first week i didn't feed them properly, that's why the first true leaves are small, compared to the first leaves of the girls i grew in the other diary... By the way, week 3 started!! Nothing to add, feeding schedule and nutrients amounts are the same of the last week. Let's see tomorow, maybe i'll prepare AirPots for an imminent transplant 13/10 - The roots are growing out of the small pot. Today i transplanted them into the 9 liter AirPots, acutally it's not a "transplant" because i didn't remove the small coco-pot. By the way now they have more space, also increased amount of water per day. Tomorrow, week 4, i will change the feeding schedule, by increasing nutrients amount. The mini fan is now on, giving them a gentle breeze on the leaves

Week 4 started ****(R) is the plant on the right, (L) is the one on the left!!**** 15/10 - I'm feeding them with 2ml per liter, as suggested by Advanced Nutrients. I know that this amount is too much, EC is also high, but i want to see how they react to this. Hope to not overfeed them 16/10 - Topped both plants - Now i'm giving the plants 0.5 l/plant per day, run-off water is about 20% of the water gave to them Tomorrow i will measure the EC 20/10 - All plants doesn't show over-feeding sings. The EC of the solution is close to 700ppm and Ph is 6 In the images the temperature oif the water is high (26°C), before feeding the plants i waited fot the temperature to drop at 21° End of the week 4, plants are healthy - It seems to me they're growing slowly, the fourth plant (top right one) is the last i planted and she's growing very fast. Probably the mistakes i made in the first week of Silver Haze are slowing down the growth....

Week 5! 21/10 - week five stated. The plants are starting to smell :D 22/10 - Day 30 - increased amount of nutrients, from 2ml per liter to 2.5ml. EC increased from 600/650 to 750ppm The stems after the topping are growing fast, about 1cm per day :O 25/10 - Increased ppm, 3ml per liter of Sensi Coco Grow. New branches have only two sets of leaves. I will top again when there are at least 3 sets. *DIARY UPDATE* I decided to not SCROG. Plants are very different in size, and i'm not so skilled in scrogging... Maybe next time 27/10 - Started Low Stress Training. I'm trying to use 6 main stems, i will top again probably next week I modified two pics of both plants to show clearly where are the stems which i bent, i'm trying to give them enought space > regarding the watering solution, i'm trying to keep Ph close to 5.8. Next week i will try to give her them the maximum dose of base nutrients, as suggested by Advanced Nutrients (4 ml/l) Considerations at the end of week 5: - Silver Haze plants are growing healty, and they are both of the same size Super Silver Haze, the plant on the top right, is very short... I won't scrog anymore so this is not a problem Blue Cheese is very stretchy (last pic) but she's out of the diary. She's the last plant i planted but it's the one which grows faster than the other. Next time i probably choose them and try to grow their genetics ;)

Week 6 28/10 - Increased EC level. Now it's more than 1000ppm and i use 4ml/l of base nutrients 29/10 - I removed biggest leaves on top which were covering the colas underneath them. I will do the real defoliation during last week of vegetative Probably i will cut the lower branches, but not now.... i'll let them recover as i topped last week and defoliated a bit now 03/11 End of week 6

Week 7! 04/11 - Now plants are growing fast, i will leave them alone for some days... I won't stress them with defoliation or cuttings of any type at the moment... Today i tried to water them with one liter per plant, from now i will always use this amount of water 06/11 - Plants are healty and very leafly. So today i did a defoliation, removing a lot of leaves, not only biggest leaves on top like the last time The right plant is growing with a better structure than the left plant. There is also the Dinafem hybrid (most indica) "Blue Cheese" which is growing very very bushy and she's very stretchy. I hope she won't cover the other plants during the next weeks, she's very big!! 09/11 - Today i trained them a bit (LST) and i cut some small lower branches which i think they will never make it to the top. Today is the last day of vegetative stage, tomorrow i will switch them into flowering 10/11 - Switching to the flowering stage: increased power of the lamps, now it's up to 400W per lamp (total wattage is about 800W) - Only 12 hours a day (00:00 - 12:00) For now i will keep using nutrients for the vegetative stage, to increase pre-flower stretch

Week 8 11/11 Day 50 - From now lamps are at their full power, 400 watt each, total wattage 800W, 12hrs/day. 13/11 Day 52 - I removed biggest leaves covering the plant, i'm still using nutrients for the vegative stage unti the plants are big enought and colas are long enought I also decreased a bit the temperature inside the tent. The left plant is growing slower than the others... The right one seems she's stratching well 14/11 - The smell is becoming more and more pungent, i think I should change nutrients type for the biggest plant, to stop her growth or she will fill my tent and cover other plants!! 15/11 - Removed some big leaves on top... Finally i was able to replace the mini-fan, which broke days before. Left plants seems growing slowly, while the right one is healty and fast growing.

Week 9!! 18/11 - First flowers! I started with the normal flowering feeding solution. The smeel is increasing day by day, it's becoming more potent Today i also removed the biggest leaves on top 20/11 - Increased the distance of one lamp from the biggest plan and removed all small branches and small leaves on the bottom, which were getting no light Tomorrow i will get some pics of the plant structure 23/11 - I had to tie the biggest plant from DinaFem as you can see in today's pic, she's very big and stretchy and she will cover other plants' buds. The right plant has two beautiful colas, full of bud sites, today i tried to bend one of them so it's completely under the light... Hope this one can be the most potent bud of the entire plant by doing so :D

Week 10 25/11 - Changed nutrients, i'm still using Carboload, and not using Piranha and Bud Ignitor anymore. I added 2 ml/l of BigBud and Bud Candy Last time i used BudCandy the smoke was sweeter so i'm using it again, i hope BigBud will also make them fat and big The stem i bent 2 days ago is now pointing upward and buds growth have increased esponentially putting them under the direct light 30/11 - The odor is intense, sweet, very pungent. I bent some branches because they were too high

Week 11 04/12 The odor is very strong, each day stronger and more pungent. Buds and sugar leaves are becoming very sticky! I think that big bud is doing its work, buds are very fat even if this is the first day of the 4th week of flowering 08/12 - I did a big defoliation removing all fan leaves. This is the last days of Big Bud which will be substituted by the "Overdrive"... leaves i removed were really sticky

Week 12 :O 11/12 - I'm very pleased about these plants... they are healty and there are a lot of buds on them Last week i defoliated, buds this week are fattening and i will soon use Overdrive from advanced solution for the next two (and probably last) weeks Flowers are covered in trichomes and they are very sticky, full of resin on sugar leaves 14/12 - i started to use the "Overdrive" from advanced nutrients. These are probably the last two weeks before the final flushù I bent the highest stem which were too close to the light.

20/12 - Week 13 - I cant's wait for the final week... they look so sticky and delicious :D Tomorrow i will probably defoliate them a bit, because there are a lot of leaves covering lower buds I can see that some leaves' tips have (small) signs of nutrients burnt. This since i am using Overdrive (2 ml per liter)

28/12 - Day 97 - I think one more week and it's time to harvest, so let's start flushing! I prefer higher % of THC than CBD, that's why i will wait one more week to let buds to ripen even more. So from now, only water with Ph regulator... I can't touch the leaves since they are covered with resin and they are very very sticky. If things are going well as expected, the last day of these ladies is 4th january, as i'm going to harvest that day Pics with trichomes from the microscope: i magnified a small sugar leaves during day 90, next week i will try with a bud

Last week. 02/01 Only water with Ph adjustment, 1 liter per plant. I cut a sugar leaf of some buds, and magnified them with the microscope. See attached pics I'm not sure to harvest on saturday (-2 days).. for this growth i want higher level of TCH but trichomes are not clodly enought.... Let's see 04/01 - Another check to the trichomes today let me to a conclusion: i must postpone the harvest... they are not ready. Unfortunately it's been a week since i feed them only with water, so now i used Overdrive and Bud Candy to let them survive another week. Leaves are very green even after one week with no-nutrients.. So probably they didn't suffer. New harvest date: friday 10/01 Meanwhile i bought the "flawless finish", a product from Advanced Nutrients which remove all nutrients from the plant and root zone. I will try it soon 08/01 - I turned off the lights: starting dark period, in total it's about 72 hours of darkness. Smell is the most powerful, flowers are ripen enought and now i'm feeding them only with water and flawless finish. Saturday, 11/01, will be the D-Day.

Using the rack to dry my buds was not a great idea... they dried too quickly on the outside... I though they were ready, so i put them in jars but it was too soon. SO i kept drying them. No problems for the muds but i think this damaged a bit the taste and the smell. by the way, this time i did my utmost growing these beautiful plants, and results are great.
