I'm quite an experienced user and my bet is to see if I can hit more than 1.5 Gramms/watt with a 600w lamp in an 1.2x1.2 tent using various strains. Unfortunately the sytem does not allow me placing more than 8 strains but this grow host additionally CBD Seeds - AK , Original Sensible Seeds Company - Black Gum, Original Sensible Seeds Company - Purple Destroyer. The nutrients I 'm using are from CX Hydroponics as I consider them to be cheap, honest and functional. My substrate is a mixture of coco (U-gro) and perlite around 50/50 without any additions. i use ascorbic acid as PH down and I try to keep my PH a bit on the low side, so as to compensate with the high salinity of my tap-water.
5th week and I already heading into flowering. Things looks promising as plants have the desired structure and progress as expected! They have entered the preflowering stage and we hold back with the nutrients as this is a quite stresfull period for the plants......what might be stored in our coco would be more than enough for them to keep going!
Heading straight into flowering I defoliate almost every 5 days, aside with adding more P and K in my feeding mix. I still keep N in my receipe in order to stretch my plants to my desired height.
This is the week where we procceed with really hard defoliation leaving almost no fan leaves on our plants. The gain we have in light spread is clear since we see how much light is reaching at the bottom of our plants. This will give us more mass at the bottom of the plant, where usually in indoor gardens we find more airy, popcorn buds. Of course we don’t
worry since leaf mass is produced at an exploding growth rate. Bud formation is clear throughout all our plants and also crystals become clearly visible in some of the plants.
Heading in our final week plants appear to be pretty satisfying covered with crystal budding up and gaining weight. A purple destroyer gave me a purple pheno with which I'm pretty excited although I don't expect it to be a killer while inhaling. I'm totally cut back with my nute as I only feed P and K in very light doses, but this week I'm gonna use a bit of N for the finishing. The specific nutrient has been totally absent for many week and it will provide a balance to the plant so as to finish up.
Well this would be my final week for most of the plants :) They are all well rippened, somewhere around 70/30 - 80/20. Mass looks satisfying and the crystals and smells are absolutely satisfying. All plants will be harvested and dried for about 10 days and then cured for about twenty days before I start vaping! Cheeers!
Cotton candy is an amazing hybrid :) Sativa characteristics with minimal variations and few purple hues in some phenos, develop an overall extraodinary hybrid. Taste and smell are sweet and pungy and the overall crop is above average. Amazing strain with great high! The results given below are from 5 plants
I' ve been growing this strain for five years and I will continue for ever. Grows perfect, with great color variations, super frosty with a sweet smell of skunk mixed with roses!
It has been overall an amazing grow for me, since I managed to get 947 gramms from this grow. Due to lack of field for my other 3 strains, I will mention that my 2 AK's from CBD seeds delivered 50 gramms, 2 Black Gum from OSSC seeds gave me 54 gramms and I got another 30 gramms from a Purple Destroyer from OSSC seeds. I decided to use this xtra week to post some pics from the drying prosess plus some explanations. Since I've choosen multiple strains this diary looks weird, weeks are 19 and not 27 plus there will be some numbers missing from my end result but anyone reading can get the idea! Thanx all for the good vibes!
@biggreens420, big thanx for the kind vibes mate! This is a great page and such a nice enviroment so I'll defo stay around. Huge blessins to everyone keepin this site alive!
@biggreens420,yap, always a pleasure having the chance to choose! If I could I would run multiple tents instead, though due to lack of resources I have to compormise, Cheers!
Tents looking nice and FULL 👍 What type of lights are you running? Just those cfl's in the pictures? I think that you would see better results and bigger denser buds with a stronger HID light. Keep up the good work! I will be following along to see the harvest results
@CovikLaFlaire,that would be Cotton Candy with 180gr. out of 5 plants and just for the record it grows pretty similar to Black Russian which is another great yielder!
@Hawkbo, Thanx, indeed it was. No need to flush if you stay low with nutes. You just give the plants plain water around a week before you harvest, they will suck up all traces of elements in your substrate depending the sub, with coco it works like that.
